Meet Alex
"Where am I?" I thought to myself as I looked around the dark forest. It was late, I think it was late night at least. I stood up, shaking, it was freezing. I was only wearing shorts and a tanktop. I walked down a gravel path, hoping to find a way out. Eventually I came to the edge of the trees. There was a house there, I sighed in relief and knocked loudly on the door. A man with bright red hair and a cigarette in his mouth. His green eyes widened when he saw me.
"Alex! What the hell happened to you lass?" He said as he opened the door wider to let me in.
I looked at him curiously as I walked inside, "D-do I know you?" my voice sounded hoarse, as if it hadn't been used in a while.
The red haired man's eyes widened more, "You don't remember me sis?" he said, almost in a whisper.
I shook my head no and looked at him apologetically.
The man nodded and led me to a couch and sat me down. He left up a set of stairs and came back a few moments later with a set of clothes. "Here, these should fit," he said as he motioned me to take the clothes and follow him.
I stood up and followed him to a room that was painted blue with silver and gold stars splashed across the walls.
He opened the door to a bathroom and motioned me to get inside, "you go ahead and take a shower, I need to make a few calls."
I nodded and walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. I undressed while staring at myself in the mirror. There were several bruises and scars along my body. Some looked old and some were new. I shuddered and climbed into the warm water and relaxed. I can't recall how long I was in there for, but e hen the man knocked on my door again, I nearly screamed. I wrapped myself in a towel and cracked the door open slightly.
"Just making sure that you were ok," he says as he smiles kindly and sits on the bed.
I smiled back and got dressed after shutting the door.
Once I was dressed, I walked out of the bathroom and sat beside the man, he had a book of some kind in his hands, "here, just so you know I'm not lying to ya," he said as he handed me the book. I opened it curiously, it was a photo album. In it were pictures of me, the man, and three other boys I didn't recognize. "Your name is Alexandrea Kirkland, your birthday is October 12, and you are 17 years old. You've been missing for seven months," he said as he looked at me.
I looked at him and shook my head, "I don't remember any of this," I say softly as I handed him the book back.
"Aye, I figured as much lass," he said, "My name is Allistor, I'm your oldest brother," he says, "and don't worry about your memories, there must be a way to get them back, for now, try and sleep ok?" he said.
I nodded and laid on the bed and fell into a deep sleep.
