Plot 

 General ideas

o Roger is sick, but not (yet) life-threatening --> Roger and crew begin to spread rumors about One Piece themselves 

o Rouge still dies in childbirth --> Roger entrusts his daughter to someone from a crew to raise her somewhere unnoticed for the first five/six years before she lives on the Oro Jacksen 

o Shanks is still to blame/responsible for Luffy being devil fruit --> Buggy accuses him of exactly that 

o World Government hears rumors that there is a child on Roger's ship + it is his own child --> only have poor recordings of her (Roger and crew are very careful to prevent Luffy from getting a bounty too early)

o Shanks and Buggy have to play babysitter most of the time (Especially after she eats devil fruit) 

o Learns Haki early on + Rayleigh had to promise not to use it in the East Blue/any of the Blues so as not to attract attention to himselfo Meets Jimbei when Roger meets Whitebeard (called Marco "Pineapple Head" when they first met --> Shanks and Thatch laughed it off) + loves his Fisher Tiger stories 

o Always emphasizes the D. in her name which means she will later be searched for as "Gol D." (Many questions shocked after "Did you just say Gold?!" 

o Luffy heard some stories about Shiki and how crazy he was about her mother (Shanks sometimes scared her that if she wasn't careful, the lion would come to get her) 

o Buggy gave her a dagger for her birthday, which she always carries with her

 Luffy meets other when children

o Shanks finds devil fruit and puts it in a box (unlocked) + Luffy finds and eats it when she plays hide and seek with Shanks and Buggy (had to play babysitter) --> Shanks sees her taking the last bite & panics --> Buggy comes, sees what happened, blames Shanks that it is his fault + panics himself about what Roger and Rayleigh will say 

o When on Sabaody, photographer manages to take a picture of Luffy (she grins at the camera + Shanks and Buggy are arguing in the background) --> Luffy gets his first bounty at age 8 with alias: "Pirate Princess" + Rayleigh angry & Roger laughs 

o Luffy gets Vivre Card from her father (in case she gets lost) & gets her own + gives her father, "Uncle" Rayleigh, Shanks-nii and Buggy-nii a piece first 

o Luffy falls from the ship during a storm (should actually stay below deck) when visiting the East Blue --> meets members of her future crew on a little adventure & gives everyone a piece of her Vivre Card before she continues her journey + prevents some events (e.g. Belmeer's death)

 Meets Sabo and Ace on Dawn (washed up in the Gray Terminal) + shocks them both when she shows how strong she is (without Haki) + more or less flees when Garp comes to visit and recognizes her (just wanted her ask about her father (she would never have handed over what she doesn't know)) --> Luffy decides as she sails/rows away that she will start her own journey from Dawn because this is the island where she made her first friends her age 

 Lands in Shimotsuki as Vivre Card follows + meets Zoro and Kunida (Kuida is the one who keeps Zoro on the right path (his sense of direction isn't that bad yet) & comments that Zoro could really use something like that) + prevents Luffy from that Kuida dies falling down the stairs (he just broke his ankle) 

 Because of storm she comes off course & loses most of her supplies --> smells something to eat and ends up in the Baratie + when asked if she can pay at all (before she could order) she takes out a gemstone from one of her bags (very valuable (has a habit taking some things she likes from the crew's loot --> gets to keep them if she doesn't get caught)) & orders each dish --> Sanji curiously comes out of kitchen to see person who placed this order and is surprised at Luffy see + is recognized by a Marien, who believes that with his rank he can do anything (threatens to ensure that the restaurant is closed if it turns out that they have hosted the Pirate King's daughter + is sure that he will be promoted , if Luffy captures or uses her as bait for Roger) + Luffy apologizes for any inconvenience before sailing further (Zeff tells her that if Vivre Card continues to follow she will end up in the Calm Belte & no islands nearby to restock supplies) 

 Lands in Syrup and meets Usopp + is his emotional support (his mother died just a few months before) + stays on the island for a few days and becomes friends with him 

 Lands on Conomi as Arlong is about to start tyranny --> fishmen are confuse as she start to hiped (Arlong was about to shoot Belmeer) + some villagers try to get them to stay away/away from the fishmen & Luffy asks why (are pirates & "monsters") + Luffy says that's not a very nice thing to say and that fish people fish people are nothing more and nothing less --> mentions Fisher Tiger & Arlong gets angry (Luffy wouldn't have the right to say his name , after what the people did to him) before he shoots Luffy (those present are shocked + even more so when bullet flies back to Arlong) + Luffy realizes what's going on and says that the wrong way is to behave the same as the real ones Monsters they despise so much. If you want to take revenge on someone, then it better be one of the self-proclaimed gods or human traffickers and not innocent people who have nothing to do with all this --> gives Arlong and his crew a chance to leave otherwise she will make them do it + uses Haki to dodge/block attacks (Luffy a little angry that they are forcing her to break her promise to Uncle Rayleigh + but will surely understand when he finds out it was because of fish people) + one of the fish people recognizes her from wanted poster (Roger's daughter ) & some villagers start mumbling (Luffy is a monster because of powers and her father) & Belmeer silences the others (No matter who or what she is, she's there to help them even though she has nothing to do with the whole thing) + Luffy uses king shaki as a final warning for Arlong (crew falls to the ground or loses consciousness) --> Fishmen leave after Luffy defeats Arlong (supported by others) + Belmeer thanks her on behalf of everyone & invites her to dinner as thanks (During the meal, Luffy is asked how/why she came to the island + Luffy tells it) + when Vivre takes out Card to show it becomes worried (Vivre Card is badly burned (which actually always simmers a little, but was as long as she was). I can never remember it being so bad)) --> says goodbye + just wants to find her dad and the crew faster 

 Arrives in Lodge Town (was the original destination of Journey to the East Blue) and tries to find others (saw Oro Jackson at the dock + is too panicked to concentrate to track them down with Haki) + has been for one Walks in alleys for a while before pulling down the brim of the straw hat and trying to hold back tears & gets the idea of running over roofs (has a better overview + doesn't have to constantly avoid other passers-by) --> inadvertently attracts the attention of the Navy & is followed

 Luffy is three years younger than he is in canon

o Luffy notices that her father is not healthy (even if he tries not to show it) + Roger knows that Luffy suspects something  asks Shanks (already has his own crew) to take her to the East Blue for a while, so that she gets other ideas #Luffy: 7 

o Meets 13-year-old Ace in Foosha + says could prove that he is stronger than Ace (should try to hit her with brooms + uses Haki to avoid blows) --> Shanks reminds her what she promised Rayleigh 

o Shanks asks Makino if he could leave Luffy with her for a few days (he heard a rumor about a gifted marksman) + Ace and Luffy begin to form a bond --> Luffy wants to surpass her father and take the title of "King of the Pirates" himself ( to be the freest person in the world) 

o Shanks arrives with new crew member (Yasop) & mysterious box (encountered World Government ship on the way back) --> Luffy eats devil fruit while everyone is distracted (Ace wants Shanks to fight him or something similar) + Shanks panics about Roger and Rayleigh will say 

o As a farewell, Ace and Luffy make a pacto Before Oro reaches Jacksen, Shanks reminds Luffy not to say anything about her new powers until he talks to Roger and Rayleigh + Luffy catapults herself to another ship with new powers when she sees her father (is so happy to see him again) --> others shocked (Buggy literally jumps apart) and Shanks faceplamed

o Buggy helps her control her devil powers faster 

o Is 12 ½ when she sees Roger collapse for the first time + finds out about his illness --> refuses to leave her father's side for too long 

o At 13 she starts talking about starting her own journey + others say that she is still too young for that (frustrates Luffy the more she hears this) --> More and more often ends with her angrily stomping into her cabin/room and banging the door loudly strikes (One of the crew says after the first time that the dreaded teenage years have now reached) 

o Shortly after her 14th birthday, she decides to implement the "plan" (lies angry/frustrated in bed + looks at her father's Vived card (has shrunk quite a bit compared to when she got it)) --> packs backpack with some clothes, treasures (money and some Jewels), photo of her and the crew, log port, map of the East Blue + writes message & sneaks away in the middle of the night (uses Haki to keep an eye on the lookout/guard & find the right time) 

o Luffy rows through Calm Belte into the East Blue + when the crew notices that Luffy is gone, Buggy is sent to get them back

 Used her King's Haki to "persuade" a little sea king to pull her through the Calm Belt + vows not to use Haki until she's back on the Grand Line

o Has largely the same encounters as in canon --> Buggy follows rumors with a small group that sound like Luffy

 Luffy cuts Zoro loose with a dagger that she carries on her thigh 

 In Orange Town it's the Gally Pirates instead of Buggy 

 Luffy is even more angry because of what Kuro is doing (uses Haki in her anger) 

 Laughs when Creek calls himself the strongest man in the world (says that he may be one of the strongest in the East Blue, but never in the world + asks if he's never heard of Whitebeard or Kaido (could list more people, but would last eternally)) 

 Doesn't want to use Haki in the fight against Arlong (want to prove that no "New World trick" is needed to defeat such an idiot) --> gets an even bigger bounty because those at the top know who she is (or rather her father ) 

 Runs in Loge Town in Buggy (realized that sooner or later she will head for Reavers Mounten) + refuses to come along (not only wants to fulfill her dream, but also that her dad is there to see it --> she knows for some time now that her father is sick and no one can help him (gets tears in his eyes)) --> Buggy lets himself be softened & gives her a snail number (should at least check in every now and then otherwise Roger and Rayleigh would be worried --> will not do it for a while because she didn't want to be yelled at)

o When sailing away from Loge Town explains to others how Smoker escaped (Haki) + who was Clown (shows the others photo of her and the crew) 

o Take photos every now and then during the trip (e.g. first group photo with flag) 

o Tries to teach others to use Haki + only uses King Haki in an emergency because her control isn't that good yet (don't want to accidentally knock her out) 

o As the lapel mounts down, Luffy looks surprised when he suddenly calls out a name very loudly (had become friends with him the first time they met) + Luffy wonders where the lighthouse keeper is 

o Gives Nami her log port (tried to explain before taking out notes (was written very easily and understandably)) 

o If she also wants to drink alcohol, others intervene (she is too young to drink) + give her instent juice

 Luffy tries again and again, but always gets caught

o Ace mentions in Alabasta that Rayleigh asked Whitebeard to look out for her --> Luffy begs Ace not to betray her + Ace agrees if she calls herself soon 

o Ganford shocked that Luffy has Mantora + she explains in the Blue Sea it's called Haki & anyone can learn it 

o Can block Kuzan's attacks, but is not fast enough to catch him 

o Get Telesnail when they are in Water 7 + call Oro Jacksen (to Enies Lobby) --> Receive a lecture from Rayleigh about what he was thinking + Luffy promises to report more regularly from now on

 Sneaking off the ship with no way to contact them 

 Using her real name instead of her mother's (World Government now definitely knows who she is) 

 Taking on a samurai of the seas 

 To declare war on the world government 

 Just reporting now after all this

o Meet Shiki (was obsessed with Rouge & hates Roger because he stole his true love --> obsession transferred to Luffy (even though she looks a lot like Roger) #Creep!!)

 The East Blue means as much to Luffy as it does to her nakama who grew up there (1. Because it's important to her friends |2. Because that's where she made her first friend | 3. Because that's where she started her journey |4. It is the home of her dad and therefore also of her) 

 Shiki uses something made of Seastone (doesn't hold it with his bare hands) to weaken Luffy before kidnapping Luffy and scattering her crew across his island --> Walls and doors of her "room" have Seastone coating (intended to prevent escape) 

 Luffy mad at herself for not reacting quickly enough and getting caught (should have been more careful after hearing the stories) + worried about her friends 

 Consider what others would do in your situation

- Nami would pretend to act on aversions and outsmart her (Luffy shudders at the thought (her stomach is already churning when Shiki tries to flirt with her or calls her by pet names)) 

- Zoro would fight his way out (Luffy wants to save up his strength for when he really needs it otherwise he'll just get caught again) 

- Sanji and Robin would wait for the right moment and use intelligence (inconspicuous things are not their style) 

- Usopp would put something together 

- Chopper and Franky would "transform" 

- Brook would play dead man

 She remembers that there are large windows and hopes that there is no coating there or at least breaks like glass --> looks at other islands (a wrong assessment = their demise) 

 Shiki shows up (calls her by her pet name) & Luffy tries to attack (says not to call her that) --> Shiki avoids + says he still needs to calm down a bit 

 Wants to know what he did to her crew + doesn't want to let him find and probably lock up her nakama before she does 

 Has a brief attack of weakness when coming into contact with the door (tried to hit Shiki again as he leaves the room) 

 Use one of the pillars to destroy glass + catapult yourself onto the island that is closest 

 Uses Königshaki against mutated animals + just before Crew can reach, she is hit in the lower leg by Seastone arrow 

 Shiki kidnaps her again & ties her to a chair with Seastone chains (Luffy needs a lot of strength to even stay awake) 

 Nami steals keys to free Luffy from bonds

o Do you try to activate King Haki to save your friends from Kuma (it doesn't work) 

 Kuma helps Straw Hats escape because he doesn't want anyone to be blackmailed with their own child (reference to Bonni)

- Variant 1- As in Canon: uses attacks with Haki coating for the first time in the Marine Ford + Hankock taught her to use King Haki over the two years (have a sisterly relationship)

- Variant 2 – Will be arrested himself (Supposed to be executed together with Ace): will be locked in the same cell as Ace (is surprised to see him and Jimbei) | Roger Pirates appear with Withbeard Pirates | When they were freed, Roger takes Luffy in his arms and says that he is proud of them (Luffy sees that he is worse off than the last time she saw him) + Roger asks Ace to get his daughter out of there safely to bring --> Luffy tries to defend himself against Ace's grip & calls for her father with tears while they move away | drums on the door of the ship (Law's submarine) + takes out her father's Vivid Card (felt the signature getting weaker with Haki) & turns to ashes in her hand --> slides down the door, crouches down and blames herself | Rayleigh finds her & has a letter from Roger with her (+ some things from Oro Jacksen, for example photo album and one of her father's coats) --> she later trains further in Haki (+ Ace?)

/ Covers herself with coat and breathes in scent of her father 

/ In the photo album: there are wanted posters, newspaper articles and photos of reactions from the former with inside + photos that Luffy sent #News Cow

o After TimeSkip, still not allowed to drink alcohol (party on Fishman Island) --> Luffy thinks this is unfair because she knows that Shanks was already drinking at her age 

o On Egghead Island, she learns that World Government is responsible for her father's illness

My opinion 

Honestly guys. Personally, I find option 2 more interesting. Especially in combination with Luffy, who is also about to be executed (a.k.a. used as bait for her father). Ergo, Roger would be the one to break in Impel Down before crashing into Marineford.
