Hey guys.

I am so disgusted, and just shaking with nerves and anger. I'll just get right into it.

As we all know, Jeremy left. We haven't heard anything from the band, or the label, or him, he was just gone. I found out the reason for the silence, not even a few minutes ago, and I am appalled. 

Apparently this whole thing has been about money.

Yup, money.

Apparently Hayley is part of this company that owns the Paramore brand, and pays the guys as employees (including part of her own earnings in their paychecks.), and Jeremy tried to say that he and Hayley were partners in this, and he should be paid as a partner like Hayley is. The company, which is called Varoom Whoa (sounds like something Hayley would come up with), sued Jeremy in February saying that he was never officially a partner, and he can't collect royalties and such from Paramore's future endeavors. Jeremy counter-sued, saying him and Hayley decided to officially become partners in 2008, and he deserves the money. 

Let me start off by saying how I find it funny that Hayley Williams, who claimed in Paramore: The Last Word that she hates business and anything to do with it, has started her own company, and has apparently been running this one without the fans knowledge since the beginning of the band. 

And in the same interview (Paramore: The Last Word), Jeremy defended Hayley being the only one signed to Atlantic, and said that Josh and Zac revealing that information was pointless, but now he is using that information as leverage in his lawsuit. For money.

Let me take a minute though, to thank Taylor York. He has been silent, but he has been supportive of the future of the band. If these things are true, then he is also an employee of Paramore, and has been treated the same way as Jeremy. But, unlike Jeremy, he doesn't care. It's about music for him, and that is how it should be. The thought of making money should never replace your desire to chase your dream. Ever.

This is mind blowing to me. Sweet, kind Jeremy, is suing his best friends for money. And Hayley ran this whole secret company. I have to say, Hayley's thing isn't as disappointing as Jeremy's. Maybe she hid something, but she never betrayed her best friend(s) for money. I'm not taking her side, or anyone's side for that matter. I honestly don't know what to think of Paramore at this point. I want to believe in them, and I want to see them rise again, but all of this is just too much. 

I guess I should be honest with you guys. For the past couple months I have been considering leaving wattpad permanently. Not just because of Jeremy, but because I know I wouldn't be able to continue writing if Paramore split up. I want to quit while I'm ahead, y'know? Save the heartbreak. So, I am going to take down my new story. You guys know I've never taken anything down, it physically hurts me, it really does, but I think it needs to be done. I'll try to finish up Puzzle Piece and Now I Know, and I think that'll be it, and I'm not dragging them out, they'll be done by this month. If you feel so ever inclined to stay in contact with me, PM me and we can work something out, if anyone is really missing me that much (probs not 😝). 

I wanna close this by saying I still believe in Paramore. I have dedicated my life to this band, they have inspired me in so many ways, and I will always be grateful to them for that. - H
