Chapter 4: NEVER Judge A Book By Its Cover

I continued to glare at this certain guy who was sitting right in front of me.

I am currently in the nurse's office, holding a bag of cold compress as I pressed it gently on my face, hissing when it touched the part where it hurts the most.

"Gee.. I already apologized okay? Don't be such a stupid baby over this." He mumbled the last few words but I heard it clearly.

I threw a pillow at the annoying and most definetly rude student who took my most prized possession AND had hit me with a racket directly at my face!

"Mr. Kagene, language. For your information, I am the secretary of this school and I can report you if I want to. What you did was a violation of rule 36 which is--"

"Physical Interaction and could count as bullying, yeah, yeah." He snorted, facing the other direction.

I rolled my eyes and continued to press the cold object on my face, loving the feeling of how it's slowly freezing my face.

I am not a masochist by the way.

I sighed and looked at Len. He doesn't look like he's really strong. He actually has a wimpy body. Maybe.

Though, he has a nice face.

Yes, that was a compliment.

His weird hair was oddly attractive and how his bright cerulean eyes twinkled like sparkling stars were just simply mesmerizing. His face was much better than his physical attribute.

He looks.. normal. He looks like an idiot and most probably brainless. He reminded me of Kaito. The mindless and idiotic flirt.

Well, I don't even know him yet so we'll see about that.

"Rin Kagamine, right? The Secretary of the Supreme Student Council for two years and the Queen of Miku Hatsune's game and the cause of the King's rise and fall. This is interesting." He smirked mischieviously, I stared at him, not knowing how he knew all of that.

"I'll be seeing you on the next few days. Heck, I'll probably be stuck with you for the rest of the year."

"Pardon? What do you mean?" He left without a word, leaving my question unanswered.

How did he even knew that? What does he mean by those words? Huh?

I resumed to heal my pain before leaving the nurse's office.

I walked on my way to my home, lost in my thoughts as my feet was taking control of everything.

"Hmf!" I suddenly bumped to somebody which resulted me to fall on the cemented pavement. I rubbed my head, sighing to myself as I counted the painful experiences that I had today.

"Watch where you're going dork!" Whoever that guy is, he spitted on me before leaving.

Disgusting.

I fixed myself and stood up, wiping my hair where the saliva of the stranger was on with my orange themed handkerchief. Kids these days.

"You didn't bother to fight back? Tsk, you're just a mere weakling without Miku, huh?" A girl from my behind was leaning on a pose. She fixed her goggles and shoved her hands into her pockets.

"Gumi Megpoid, correct? I assume that you're one of Miku's haters, are you?" I asked, examing her emerald eyes.

She looks like a rule-breaker for some reasons but I'm not quite sure about that, her short hair was cut messily but it still looked good on her.

Her terrifying stares could make anyone shiver in fear but I have seen a lot more petrifying.

"Yeah." She clicked her tongue, breathing lightly, showing how relaxed she is.

"What must be your bussiness with me Ms. Megpoid?" I glared back at her, looking at her hands that was slowly forming into a fist.

"To be honest, nothing. I just wanted to see the pitiful servant of Miku Hatsune. Y'know, just to check her out if she was crying or whatnot." She smirked, combing her hair with her left hand.

"Well then, fortunately, I am fine. Never have I cried for such a stupid and nonsensical reason. Does this concern you for some reason? Or are you just some amateur sadist who can't do anything with her life knowing that her rival had already lost without succumbing to her "successful" revenge?"

"B-Bitch!" She attempted to charge at me, wanting to pull my hair as her eyes glinted, showing how vexed she is. I quickly blocked her attack, gripping her hand tightly.

"My dear, it seems that your 'cool' mask had worned off. If you can't handle the truth then better tear that facade off than keeping it for your reputation." I bluntly said, unfazed of her angered reaction.

"Tsk." She slapped my hand softly, removing her hand from my grasp.

"Shut up Ms. Righty-pants.." She hid her face and walked away from me, I watched her figure slowly dissappearing before continuing to walk back to my destination.

Once I've arrived, I entered my humble home, heading straight to my room without bothering to greet any of my siblings that are located in the living room.

I unlocked my bag and looked at the candidates for the new president, touching the papers with my delicate finger tips as I've pondered on a certain application that had caught my eyes.

This guy.. He's running as the new president of my school?

Impossible. I had witnessed his actions earlier! How will he even win this?

Shoving the papers aside, I lied on my bed. I was finally free from Miku's penitentiary despite being innocent but oh well, lesser homeworks and research for me. I'll admit that I am both overwhelmed with joy about Miku's termination and both dissappointed of her action that ended her term.

Who was careless enough to do that in a room that has cctvs in every angle? Apparently Miku was.

I'm sure that she had already learned her lesson but I still wonder why that happened?

Was it really because of "love"? If it is then should I be cautious of it? Perhaps read some articles about it since it may one day ruin my life just like what happened to my dear friend?

Lol, I doubt that I'll ever get to experience that unusual and complex emotion.

But the future is quite unpredictable so I might just have to watch the whole movie for myself.
