Chapter 3: Introducing The Little Brother
"H-Huh..? M-Miss Rin! I-I-I'm sorry! Wh-What do you need?!" The boy with messy light blonde hair frantically stood up and bowed at me with respect.
He has some kind of bandage wrapped around his left eye as he wore a hat with his uniform. He has those sparking golden eyes, he looked like an 8th grader as I've examined his child-like figure.
"O-Oh.. Um.. I'm sorry. It seems that I have been mistaken.." I bit my lips, slightly embarrassed of what I did.
I scratched the back of my neck, wondering where the hell my bow is located.
"Hey, um.. Who are you?" I asked, curious of who the boy is.
"O-Oliver Kagene.. From 10-C.." He stuttered, obviously scared of me.
Oh, he's a 10th grader. That was rather surprising knowing how adolescent he looks.
But.. Am I really that terrifying for him to act like this in front of me? I stared at him as my eyes widened.
"Kagene? You mean like Len Kagene?" I asked, leaning towards him as if I sounded desperate to look for Len dude.
"Y-Yes ma-ma'am! He's m-my older br-brother!" He yelped, shocked of how I suddenly entered his personal space.
He was cute alright, Oliver was blushing in a pinkish shade of red. But don't get me wrong;
It's not like I'm attracted to him. But I would like to have him as my little brother.
Maybe.
"I see, deepest of apologies for invading your private circle." I walked backwards slowly, stopping when I was at least 5 feet away from him.
"Anyways, may I perhaps know where your brother is currently located?" I asked, slightly tilting my head to the right.
"Well.. U-Umm.. I don't know.." He shyly responded, hiding his face with his hat.
"Oh.. But did he gave you something or anything at all?" I looked at the table that was behind him which was full of books which was all about boats.
"H-He did.." He struggled to get his backpack quickly, almost tripping in the process. He rummaged through his things, getting something white in his hand.
"H-He told me to keep this and g-give it to a g-girl.." He bit his lips, not wanting to say anything else.
"A girl? Kindly describe his description that he gave you. I'm sure that he did." I said, eyeing my ribbon that was tightly held in his hand.
"W-Well.." He looked like as if he was trying to decide whether he'll choose Death or Death. He huffed down and began to speak.
"He t-told me that the girl has blonde hair, short and she was flat chested.. He also told me that she was strict, grumpy, most of the times emotionless and thin as a stick.. a-and--" I barely heard his words but I understood it immediately.
"That would be enough, thank you very much. Now if you'd excuse me." I took the bow from his hand and marched out of the library with a frown plastered on my face.
That little rascal.. Stating the dissappointing truth of my existence.. Well, it was partly my fault for even asking for it. Most of them were Len Kagene's fault.
He just had to tell Oliver Kagene that I was the secretary of the school. I am already well known so why would he bother to tell him my physical features? Kids these days.
I sighed, walking down the hallway as I gripped on my bag.
"Where else should I go.. Of course, the SSG room. My second home that I never thought would consider."
It was true though, I've been the secretary of this school for 2 years caused by Miku's desires to achieve her dream.
I was her Queen and she was the King. I did everything for her without complaining, but this game was different.
The pawns all fell when the King was already taken. Yet the Queen is still alive.
What does this mean? And I'm sure that somebody was controlling the other pieces of our supposed to be opponent.
Though, I'm bemused. I no longer know what my purpose is. Am I merely an extra character that just dissappeared like a dust as soon as Miku's battle gained a losing card? Or am I actually the main character of this story who's still looking for her purpose? To achieve her dreams?
I don't know. I never did. I was merely a Queen who was used by somebody. Or am I?
There are still a lot of questions that wasn't answered so I'm still quite confused as well.
But I am definetly sure that something extragavant will happen... soon.
I reached for the door, revealing the other SSG officers who was inside of the room.
"Yo." A boy with his weird left eye waved at me. His fluffy scarlet hair was dazzling in front of the window. He was holding his very weird stuff toy and his scary hat as if it was about to eat all of us in the room.
"A pleasant afternoon to you, Fukase." I greeted, heading straight to my desk.
"Our dear secretary looks haggard, somebody fetch her a glass of cold water." He chidded, laughing at his joke.
"Most certainly Mr. Treasurer who steals people's stuff." Somebody with long blonde hair rolled her eyes, her cerulean eyes stared directly at Fukase's soul, making him shiver.
"Jeez, I was just joking Lily! Your piercing stares are scarier than usual, what's up?" He asked as he placed a pencil on his mouth, balancing it with his lips.
"The daily routine but much worse. Miku's fanboys were painting stuffs about bringing Miku back onto the lockers in the shower room. The girls were trying to attack the principal by invading her office, tearing some of the papers that are sitting peacefully on her desk." She sighed, pulling her hair out of irritation.
"The life of a peace officer, it must be hard." Luka commented, signing the proposals that was on her mahogany colored table.
"True." Lily replied, trying to sleep on her desk.
I scanned through my files, looking at what would be our agenda for tomorrow's meeting.
"So, any plans for today, Miss Secretary?" She fixed her hat as the girl with a deep blue ocean colored hair giving me a smile. Her hair was tied into twintails but unlike Miku's, her hair was tied in a downwards position.
"Not really. The faculty will be discussing these matters first. The meeting will occur tomorrow after our classes. The agenda would be of course, Miku's replacement." I sighed deeply, fixing my place.
"Ohh. Alright.." She replied with a frown while we all went back to work.

I stretched my back, moaning out loud in the process.
"Finally done!" I exclaimed, checking the room, seeing Luka at the side while everybody else left earlier.
"Good job Rin." She smiled sweetly at me before diverting her attention back to her papers.
"I'll be going now.." I mumbled before leaving the room.
"Take care!"
I closed the door and went outside.
The sun was just about to fall as the moon was slowly rising up.
The orange and purple sky perfectly blended, the sun was barely seen but it was mesmerizing.
Time to waste 5 minutes of my life.
I just stood there near by the school's basketball court, staring at the sky with a bored expression plastered oj my face.
4 minutes had passed and I was still counting in my mind.
"7, 5, 4, 3---" I was immediately shot by a badminton RACKET directly on the face.
I stood there, unable to move for some reason. But honestly, it hurts.
I rubbed my face, feeling the mark of the racket.
"Ha! I'm sorry!" Somebody rushed over to me, sweat forming on his forehead.
"Gah.. I'm really sorry Mi- Miss Secretary??" I fixed my posture before looking at the person who was currently talking.
"It was you who took my bow..."
