"Yugi! Yami is here!"

"Okay!"

When I said that I quickly button up my shirt and started to inspect my choice of attire for my date with Yami.

My first date with Yami.

I blushed.

'I'm getting nervous for some reason. W-What if I mess up!'

"Yugi!"

"I'm coming!"

I groan before taking my phone, wallet, and my jacket out of my closest, before rushing down the stairs to meet them.

Solomon Mutou. My grandpa. Right now, he is reading his today's newspapers while sipping his bitter coffee. Yami is standing at the door, while looking around the cards displayed in the counter.

"Good morning, Yami."

"Oh! Good morn-"

He gasped when he noticed my attire. I blushed.

'I hope that this is not too much. I thought that by wearing this, he might like me even more.'

I couldn't help it. After seeing that passionate love that was embleming from his eyes; I felt contempt to see more of it.

My choice of attire is simple. Wearing only warm, snugly pants with chains and leather belts to go around my waist, white t-shirt, which is covered by my fur jacket, and cute gloves that match the color of my eyes. In addition, black, leather boots adorn on my feet. Yami is wearing something similar except he has green gloves with a red sweater.

Yami quickly compose himself before asking, "Are you ready?"

"Yes. Bye grandpa!"

"Have fun my boy!"

I wave him good bye before Yami began pulling me away and out into the opening. We just walk around town before noticing this small cafe building that is right next to me. A couple is chatting away with each other, while sitting near the booth that has an open window.

Valentine's Day.

Great.

"Would you like to get something warm to drink? Yugi?"

"Oh! Umm...."

I continue to stare at the cafe. Yami noticed my staring before dragging me inside.

"Wait! Yami!"

"Don't worry. I know the perfect dessert that will suit that taste buds of yours."

I sigh. He's so stubborn and doesn't seem to listen to me at all. He smirked at me; as if to say 'Yeah-I-Know-I-Don't'.

He set me on the seat that is right next to a window before also seating himself across from me. A maid walked up to our booth and asked for our order.

"I'll get hot chocolate with strawberries cover in chocolate."

"Alright."

She scribbled down Yami's order before looking at me.

I smiled and said, "I'll get earl tea, please."

"Alright."

"Oh!"

Yami asked her to come closer. She looked confused but did what she was told. He whispered something in her ear before she smiled and nodded.

"Your order will be made in a few minutes."

"Thank you Miss."

While we sit we started to exchange small talks. Though most of the parts are....awkwardly.

"Here's your order!"

We jumped a bit, startled, when our waitress put down our foods and drinks on the table. I look down at my order; confused.

"Umm....excuse me Miss."

"Yes?"

"I think you made a mistake. I didn't order this dessert."

A chocolate cake with white vanilla ice cream on the side, along with a small cup of more oozing hot chocolate.

The waitress smiled and said, "Actually, your boyfriend over their order that for you."

I blushed when she said 'boyfriend' before quickly turning around to face Yami. He put on an innocence smile and said, "It's for you."

I didn't know what to say, so I pretended to cough on my fist and shyly said, "T-thank you."

Yami smile at the blush.

'He's so cute~ '

I pick up the fork and was about to get a piece of the cake if it weren't for Yami stopping me.

"Wait! You should put this on first before eating it."

He pick up the cup full of those oozing chocolate. I took it from his hand and asked, "Why?"

"Just watch."

I was curious but did what I was told. For a while, the chocolate just sit there on the center until it starts to melt through.

"Oh wow~!"

I watch as the thin surface of the chocolate cake started to melt until it reveals the secret within.

"Strawberries."

"Cover in more chocolate. Your favorite."

I was in awe and touch at the action. I was super happy.

"Thank you so much!"

Yami chuckled at my childish appearance as I began to stuff the sweetness in my mouth. The oozing warm chocolate combine with the sourness of the strawberries is really delicious. Spending time with Yami even felt wonderful than before. We began talking, while feeding each other strawberries. Getting to know more about each other then the regular things we have done at school.

Once we are done, we left the cafe and head off. Though I'm not sure where I have a pretty good feeling that something tells me.

This date is going to be special and exciting at the same time.

Yami POV

"Yami! Where are we going?!"

I laugh as I continue to pull on his arm. I smile.

"That's a secret." Putting my finger to my lip. Sealing it.

"Awwww~!"

Yugi pouted but didn't push the topic out. Instead, he wrap his arm around mine and close the distance of each other. He closed his eyes, relax within the embrace and warmth.

"Are you alright, Yugi?" I ask in concern.

Yugi shook his head and said, "Yes, I'm alright. I'm just.....I'm just glad that I get to spend time with you more. Yami."

"Me too."

I wrap my arm around his shoulder before taking us to another fun place.

"The Festival of the Lunar Year?"

"Yes, Yugi. The Festival is traditional for Chinese people but since Japan and China has been in good ties with each other; they believe that the festival should be held at the center of Japan. Domini City is the closet."

"And Valentine Day is consider to be that festive?"

"Yes. Come on!"

I started to pull him in so that we can get our tickets. Once inside, Yugi was surprised that there are so many people here. Different stands holds different culture of foods, drinks, and even events. Such as......

"Games!"

"Don't forget the competition. Duel Monster is going to be held here too. But it's only between couples or friends."

"If I get to duel for fun then I'm in it."

"Great! Let's sign up. Then after that we can walk around a bit before the contest starts."

"Okay!"

Luckily, we were able to get in line early before it gets too long. And since too many people already know Yugi's name as the King of Game, he decided to fill in the box with a fake name.

"Yuki?"

"Yes. It'll get hectic if they know who I really am."

"I understand. Yuki."

I grinned at the joke I just pulled on him. Which we just rolled his eyes.

"Lame."

"Hey!"

"Come on. Let's go try out those bean buns that they have. I heard that it's delicious."

"Whatever you say little one."

He blushed when I called him that. Then again, I always said that.

"Come on come on come on!"

Yugi POV

The day was spent internally out of fun games, food, and more fun. I was having so much fun that I almost forgot about the deal that we made yesterday.

But it's okay.

Every single moment that I spent time with him filled in a warm feeling in the center of my chest. The tingling feeling of skin on skin contact whenever he holds my hand. Or the way he laugh whenever I did something cute or won a prize caused me to blush at the sight of it. It truly felt wonderful and I never want it to end. I want to spend more time with him. To talk more with him. More and more.

"Yugi. There's a temple over there. We should check it out. Is that alright with you?"

"Of course!"

This time, I'm the one who grabbed his hand and began pulling him towards the direction of the temple.

"Wow~ It's so huge, Yami!"

I look at the sight of it. So beautiful.

"Let's check the place out."

We began walking up the stairs and took in the sight of the many wonderful decoration and the year of The Monkeys standing in the center. One monkey has its eyes cover. The second has its ears cover, and the last is covering its mouth.

"So cute!"

"Let's go pray to the ancient beasts, Yugi."

"Okay!"

I took a picture of the monkeys and of us before reaching up the stairs and into the temple.

The three legendary 'beasts' stood proudly on their pedestal as we bow and began to pray before them. Once that was done, we went down the stairs and return to the festival.

"Oh no!"

"'What is it Yami?"

"The contest is about to start."

"What!"

We began to run ad Yami laugh behind me.

"No way am I going to be late on Duel Monsters!"

"I know!"
