Ianite's Pov

I awoke to my face close to Sparklez in bed. He was asleep. How cute. I leaned in and kissed his forehead. He startled me when he said "Good morning, M'lady." "How did you sleep?" I asked. "Good. I dreamt about you." He said smiling. "That's sweet." He leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. We sat there for a bit just kissing but we eventually stopped because we were interrupted by a loud explosion outside. "What was that!?" I asked. "I don't know. Let's go check it out." We got out of bed and went upstairs. We looked over the edge of the fortress but saw nothing. "Maybe it happened on one of the floors above?" I asked, pointing up. He went upstairs to about the 2nd floor and I heard him curse. I went up to see what had happened and a hole was blown through the wall in Guard Tom's room. "Jerry and Jardon's rose is gone." He said brushing his fingers through his hair. "Someone with explosives came up to my tower and blew a hole in it just to steal Jerry." Sparklez said. "Oh my! What happened here!?" Guard Tom said. He had just arrived and was about to go to bed. For this was his room. "Someone came here and blew a hole in the wall. They stole Jerry and Jardon's Rose was destroyed." I said pushing some ruble around. "Shall I investigate?" Tom said. "Sure. If you want." Sparklez said. "I'm on the case!" He said running off. "It's alright Sparklez. I'm sure you'll get Jerry back." I said walking over to him and hugging him. "I heard that you lost a special rose, Sparklez." Martha said. "Yea. Jardon's Rose." Sparklez said looking at his nails. "I left some flowers in a chest on the main floor. I hope that will help." She said walking away. We walked downstairs and Sparklez opened up the chest. "Oh wow!" He got up and handed me a rose. "Here. The original one was given to me by another captain. We had planned to get married but one of Dianite's followers banished her. When we tried to recover her she....." He couldn't continue because he started crying. "It's okay Sparklez. You don't have to continue. I understand. I've had lots of people that I have come to love and then watch them die." He was still crying but he had calmed down at least. "You're right. But I'll finish the story. I want to tell you. When we tried to recover her, she turned into a zombie. She attacked me and we couldn't save her. We left and we jumped into the void. When we woke up, we were in the jail in Dagrun." I realize now what Martha had meant earlier when Sparklez had become sad. She had said that she had seen visions of one of the heroes preparing for a wedding. Now I know who's it was. "I-I had no idea that that was your wedding Martha was talking about earlier." I said. He stopped leaning on my shoulder and wiped the tears off his cheeks. "It's okay. You had no idea." He hugged me and kissed me on my head. "C'mon. Let's go help Guard Tom."
