The next day, at 7:00 p.m...

Yoongi's footsteps echoed softly against the polished marble floor of the hotel lobby. Chandeliers glimmered above him and the atmosphere was filled with the buzzing conversation from well-dressed guests around the place.

Taking a deep breath to calm his racing heart, Yoongi scanned the area. Among the sea of faces, he spotted a man who fit the description Jin had given: tall, dressed in a sharp charcoal-grey suit.

Jin stood up and offered a hand, "Yoongi?" He asked, smiling at him.

Yoongi shook his hand hesitantly, "Dr. Jin? Or... should I just say Jin?"

Jin, with a warm smile said, "Like I said before, just Jin will do. I'm glad you made it." He then gestured towards the bar, "Shall we? A drink might help ease the nerves."

They made their way to the hotel bar, and Yoongi couldn't help but feel out of place among the plush surroundings. The bartender acknowledged Jin with a nod, hinting at his familiarity.

Yoongi looked at the vast array of bottles, "I..I don't really drink much... maybe something light..?"

Jin nodded and said to the bartender, "A virgin mojito for my friend here, and a glass of red wine for me."

As they waited for their drinks, Jin leaned in, his eyes searching Yoongi's. "You look a tad nervous. Remember, you're in control for this session. We only proceed if you're comfortable."

Yoongi took a deep breath, "It's not just this... arrangement. It's everything - this place, you... It's all new to me.."

Jin smiled gently, "Change and new experiences can be daunting. I understand. Let's take things one step at a time for this day"

Yoongi nodded, "One step at a time.. I can do that.."

Their drinks arrived, and they both took a moment to enjoy them. The cool, refreshing taste of the mojito seemed to ease some of Yoongi's apprehensions.

"Before we proceed, I want to hear more about you. Not about our arrangement, but you as a person. Your passions, dreams... Tell me more about you, Yoongi."

Yoongi took another sip of his mojito, "Well.., where to start? Music has always been my refuge.. From a young age, I was drawn to the piano, the way the keys felt beneath my fingers, the melodies I could create.."

"Ah, the magic of music. It's therapeutic. I used to play the violin as a child. But medicine took over, and I lost touch. Do you compose?" Jin asked.

Yoongi smiled slightly, "I do. It's my way of expressing emotions, telling stories without words.. University, however, has been a mixed bag. While it has indeed honed my skills, it's also where I've faced some of my toughest challenges, especially financially."

Jin leaned in forward, intrigued, "Well, it's fascinating how life has its way of presenting obstacles just as we discover our passions. But it's these very challenges that shape us. Tell me, if not for the financial pressures, would you have ever considered this arrangement?"

Yoongi paused, deep in thought. He titled his head as he said, "Honestly..? Then definitely not."

Just like that, two men talked and talked, without realising the time.

After their heartfelt conversation, Jin glanced at his watch and then back to Yoongi. "Shall we?" he asked, nodding toward the hotel's private elevators.

As they walked side by side, the atmosphere shifted once again as the tension in the elevator was palpable enough anyone to notice it.

Once they reached the floor, Jin led the way down a plush-carpeted hallway to a grand door. He unlocked it, revealing a room that was spacious with elegant decor but what caught Yoongi's attention was the array of implements laid out on the bed.

Paddle, Ruler, Strap, Flogger, Crop, Tawse, Whip.. Some soft towel and some creams..and many more..

Yoongi took a deep breath, "This.. This suddenly feels so real..," he muttered.

Jin said gently, "It's okay to be nervous, Yoongi. For today, we'll go at a pace you're comfortable with."

"I know. It's just... I've never done anything like this before.."

"And that's okay. Remember, communication is key. If at any point you want to stop, we stop." Jin said, assuring him.

Yoongi nodded. Jin then walked over to a side table, pouring a glass of water for him. "Hydration is essential," he said with a smile.

Yoongi slightly chuckled, "You really are a doctor through and through, aren't you?"

Jin's smile widened, "Guilty as charged."

As they continued to talk, the elder explained each implement's purpose, ensuring Yoongi was fully informed and which tool he was comfortable with.

"Well.., it's a lot to take in, but..I trust you.."

"That trust is invaluable, Yoongi. And I promise to honor it. But before we start, do you remember the safe word we discussed?"

"Yes, 'Moonlight'. If I say that, everything stops immediately.."

Jin nodded, "Exactly. And this is something we're taking together. It's as much about mental connection as it is physical. Remember, you can use the safe word at any time. But I will ask you once again... Are you sure you want to go through with this whole session thing?" He asked one more time.

Yoongi took a deep breath, his mind briefly flashing to the mountain of bills and debts awaiting him. "Yes," he replied, though his voice was barely above a whisper.

Jin exhaled softly to himself as he picked up a leather paddle, its surface cool and smooth. "We'll begin then," he said, trying to maintain a professional tone even though he could sense Yoongi's discomfort.

⚠️

He slowly guided Yoongi over his lap. He slipped the younger's clothes down, making his face go red, instantly making him feel vulnerable. Yoongi gripped the sheets as tightly as possible, his whole face colouring a red hue.

Jin then brought the paddle up without a warning, long enough to have his arm touch his ears and then..

'THWAK'

Yoongi gasped. The first impact was sharper than he had imagined. A stinging sensation radiated across his bare skin, making him wince. He gripped the sheets more tight, reminding himself of the reasons he was enduring this.

Jin paused and asked softly, "Too much?"

Yoongi took a shaky breath, "I can handle it. Continue."

But with each strike, his resolve wavered. The pain was too much and he could feel the heat emanating from his reddening skin. His thoughts became a whirlwind of regret and about thr financial burden that had led him to this moment.

After 26 strikes, Jin reached for another implement from the bed - a soft suede flogger. Its multiple tails promised a different sensation, more thud than sting.

Jin started, holding it, "This will provide a different feeling, Yoongi. Are you still ready to continue?"

Yoongi, still trying to catch his breath and adjust to the sensations, gave a hesitant nod.

And then it came, the first swing of the flogger that was slow, allowing Yoongi to feel the full weight of the tails as they made contact with his skin. Each strike was rhythmic, methodical, giving him a moment to process the sensation before the next one came. This was less sharper than the paddle one but it had a deeper sensation that seemed to echo through his entire body.

His voice trembled as he whispered lightly, "It's... different. Heavier.."

Jin nodded, adjusting his technique. "Do you want to continue or would you like a break? It's alright, you know."

"K-Keep going, but maybe.. just may be a bit softer..?"

Jin nodded softly as he adjusted the force and once again started the session. With each strike, he ensured it was intense enough to be felt but not too overwhelming.

After a few minutes with the flogger and with 27 hard strikes, Jin took a light riding crop. The thin, flexible implement promised precision, allowing him to target specific areas.

"This will be sharper, more pinpointed. You're still ready?"

Yoongi took a deep breath, "Yes.."

With the crop, Jin started the strikes again. It was sharp and quick, causing Yoongi to jerk involuntarily. The sensation was intense, each touch of the crop leaving behind a sting.

"Yoongi, if it's too much, please tell me."

"Just... a few more. I need this.."

As the session progressed, Jin constantly checked in with Yoongi, ensuring he was comfortable or as comfortable as one could be in such a situation.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity with 16 strikes, Yoongi whispered with a trembling voice, "M-Moonlight.. Stop. Please.."

Jin immediately set the tool down and took a soft towel and a bottle of cooling lotion from the bed. "I'm sorry," he murmured, gently starting to apply the lotion on Yoongi's skin.

Yoongi hissed at the touch, breathing heavily as he said with teary-eyed, "It's not your fault. I.. I chose this. I just... didn't realize how much it would actually hurt.."

"Well, it's not just about the physical pain, is it?" Jin asked softly.

"..Yes. It's the weight of everything - the choices I've made, the circumstances that led me here. I am sorry but it's kind of overwhelming.." Yoongi said as he let out a shaky breath, trying to calm himself.

Jin understood that the aftermath of the session left Yoongi more vulnerable. With a gentle touch, he continued applying the cooling cream to ease the discomfort. As the lotion continued to meet the reddened skin, Yoongi winced again, a sharp intake of breath revealing the depth of his pain.

"I'm so sorry," Jin murmured, his voice filled with genuine concern. "This will help soothe the pain."

Yoongi nodded slightly, now lying with his chin resting on his crossed arms. "Thank you.." he replied, voice quivering slightly.

Jin, sensing his need for distraction, gently pulled his clothes up and then guided him towards the balcony. The night air was cool, completely different to the heated atmosphere of the room they'd just left.

Jin sat down on one of the plush chairs, and after a moment's hesitation, gently pulled Yoongi onto his lap. It was a soft gesture and the younger didn't mind it either as all he wanted right now, was someone to comfort him, whisper him soothing words, and be there for him.

He nestled into Jin's hug, finding comfort in the elder's steady heartbeat. The pain was still there, both physically and emotionally.

Jin's fingers threaded through Yoongi's hair, offering gentle pats. The gesture was nurturing, like a parent comforting a child.

Simultaneously, his other hand began drawing slow, soothing circles on Yoongi's reddened skin, each circle careful and deliberate, ensuring not to cause more pain. It was a gentle touch, meant to heal and reassure. He then whispered, his voice low and comforting,

"You did well, Yoongi. Your strength and resilience are admirable."

Yoongi, eyes closed, let out a shaky sigh.

Those words, simple as they were, provided a comfort to his bruised heart and body.
