I was sleeping so soundly and a terrible a knock disturbed my sleep.... I opened my eyes with my irritated face and then straightened myself.... I stretched my hands and then rubbed my eyes while someone was knocking at my room door hardly....

I made myself to get up from the bed and walked towards the door so slowly.... I forced my hand to unlock the door as it was not ready to do that.... I opened the door and found a beautiful lady standing in front of me in a traditional manner.... It was none other than my gorgeous Mother....

'Didn't you woke up this much time?' She asked while looking at me with her shocked face.....

'For this only you called me in this early morning ah?' I asked while looking at her with my annoyed face....

'Early Morning ah? It's already 9:30 my boy' she said while adjusting her saree....

'So What?' I simply asked which made her to throw a glare on me....

'Naan unkitta solli irundhean la? Inaiku ponnu paarka porom. Get ready soon' my mom said while caressing my hair....

I looked at her with my annoyed face but then nodded my head.... She smiled and then left the place while I was just standing near to the door exactly like a statue.... I sighed and then shut the door which was behind me.... I went and sat on my bed while holding my head with the hands....

Oh! I'm sorry.... I forgot to introduce myself.... I'm Anirudh Ravichander.... I just finished IT actually 4 years back and now I'm officially 25.... Still I'm a VIP only in this society.... Don't misunderstand me because I got many jobs from different companies but I only rejected everything....

Why? Are you mad? This will be the words from everyone's mouth after hearing this but actually why I rejected the jobs means..... Okay! Leave that.... It'll be a boring one for sure.... I'll tell you when I got the chance.... Now, I have to get ready to see that girl who will be waiting for my arrival there eagerly.... My mom and dad is thinking that I'll be responsible if I get married but only God knows about my situation....

I rolled my eyes off and then hurried inside the washroom.... I freshened up myself and then went towards the cupboard.... When I opened it, I saw plenty of outfits over there which confused me.... I tried several outfits but nothing satisfied me at the moment.... Then, I decided myself to be simple as I'm not going right now to impress that girl.... I'm just going for my parents satisfaction and will request that girl to reject me....

I wore the outfit which satisfied me to some extend.... There was knock on the door which made me to get annoyed again.... I went and opened the door slowly and was relieved when I saw my little angel Anuradha who stood there smilingly.... She is the one and only little sister of mine and the next month she'll be graduated as a lawyer and also after four months she'll get married too....

'OMG! What is this Ani? You're so simple' she said while scanning me right from top to bottom....

I just gifted her a smile which made her to smile back....

'But you're handsome even in this' she said while smiling widely and then winked at me....

'I think that girl will surely say okay after looking at you' she said while laughing terribly....

I glared at her while adjusting my shirt.... She stopped her laugh and managed herself to be serious even though she can't....

'What happened?' She asked while looking at me with her worried face....

'You know right? I don't want this marriage.... I'm just 25 and why I have to?' I asked while looking at the floor angrily....

'Don't worry.... She'll surely say okay to you' she said while wrapping her shoulders around mine which made me again to glare at her....

'What? I don't think so a girl will say no to you' she added while smiling widely at me....

'But even that happened right?' I said while climbing down the stairs with my worried face....

'Don't talk about that idiot right now' she said while following me back....

When we went down there I saw my parents who were sitting there while discussing something seriously.... And beside them I glanced at those two persons sitting simply.... That was none other than my elder brother Arvinth with his beloved wife Aishwariya.... He is the official philosopher of mine as he always used to advise me for each and every three hours....

I prepared myself to face all of them and then walked slowly towards them....

'Everybody focus here! Finally, the prince is here' Anu voiced out which made everyone to turn towards me.....

Everybody started to comment on my dress when my parents glared at me for a moment....

'What's this Anirudh? We're going out for a ceremony and you'll dress up like this ah?' My mom asked with her annoyed face....

'Why ma? If I wore a suit means that girl will like me ah? After marriage, I'll be like this only I'm not going to wear suit everywhere.... So, let her see me like this itself' I said while looking at them with my uncertain face....

'Nice! Ani... Come let's go' his dad commented and then left to the car....

'Unakaaga thedi kandupudichu oru suit vaangi thandhean la? Adhu enga da?' Aravinth asked while looking at me fixedly....

'Adhu pottu naan enna interview-va attend panna porean? Adhu enaku suit aagala and this really suits me right?' I said while looking back at him sadly....

'Idhula nee mattum enna Ranbir Kapoor maathiriya irukka?' He asked while looking at me sarcastically....

'Nee mattum enna Shahid Kapoor ah?' A voice came from behind which made us to turn back....

We saw Aishwariya standing there with her hands folded.... I smiled looking at her as she was too smiling at me....

'Aishu... Do you think any girl in this world will say okay for Anirudh?' he asked while looking at her sternly....

'Naan unake okay sonnean idhula Anirudh-ku enna? He's too smarter than you' she said while pinching my cheeks which made Aravinth to smile....

Everyone got inside the car after ordering the maids to take care of the house.... My brother was the one who seated at the driver's seat and I'm cent percent sure that even a cycle can defeat his driving.... As I thought, he was driving too slowly and I really cursed myself for being seated beside my cute devil sister.... She was continuously speaking about some random topics and quarrels between her friends and I was just hearing to all that smilingly as that was the only thing I can do.....

At last, we all reached the place I hope so as my brother stopped the car.... I got down from the car and was really amazed by the exterior designs of that big house which is exactly like a palace.... I glanced at that house for one or two minutes and came back to sense when Aravinth pulled my hand....

I just walked with my parents towards the entry door of the house and when we reached there a middle aged men and women came out and welcomed us warmly.... I was walking with Anuradha and when they saw me they gifted me a warm smile which made me to smile at them widely..... I just entered inside the house and my eyes started to roam all around the house without my knowledge.... The interior designs too attracted me a lot as I was just focusing on that without even noticing the words from that man....

'Anirudh' my dad called out which made me to come back to the sense....

'Evlo nerama ivaru unkitta pesittu irukaaru nu theriyuma?' My dad said with his stern look....

I gulped my saliva and then glanced at that perfect man who was sitting to my opposite direction.... He was smiling at me warmly which made me to smile back at him.... I was struggling myself while looking at him and then trying myself not to look at him and finally he spoke out....

'Anirudh... I think you have something to ask me' he said while looking at me with his questioning eyes....

'No! But yes actually.... I'm mesmerized by the designs of your house. To whom you gave the contract?' I asked while looking at him innocently....

Anu hit her forehead with her palm.... He and his mistress laughed hearing to my say while all others starred at me angrily....

'Naan nenachean ponna paththi edhavadhu kepinga nu' he said while looking at my dad smilingly....

'Why? Why? Don't you had any other thing to ask him?' Anu asked while looking at me angrily....

'No ya... It admired me and so I asked him about it... What's wrong with it?' I said while looking down at the floor worriedly....

'Nalla neram mudiyaradhu kulla ponna paarthurulaame' my mom said while looking at them....

Finally, that most awaited words came out from my mother's mouth....

'Naan poiyu kuptu varean' that middle aged women said and then went to upstairs....

Everybody was really excited to see that girl while I was just looking down the floor as I'm not at all interested in this ceremony.... Everybody's started to mumble something and all were discussing happily with their smiling faces.... Anu shook me and signaled me to look which made me to look at the stairs....

There I saw that same middle aged women and along with her some other young girls were climbing down while chuckling.... And when they all got down and then stood there silently.... I was not at all ready to look up but Anu didn't let me to do that as she tortured me to look at that girl....

I just sighed and then looked at that girl who was standing there while looking down at the floor.... I was unable to see her face as she was just focusing the floor that much interestedly.... I hope so that floor was not that much pretty as me....

'Ellarukum coffee eduthu kuduma' someone among that group of ladies voiced out....

That girl just glared at someone behind her and then took the tray which was on the table and then started to serve the coffee.... I sighed in relief as I was sitting at last but when she was nearing I started to shiver without my knowledge.... She served Anu smilingly and then stood in front of me with that tray....

Anu shook me which made me to look upside.... I looked at that girl while taking that coffee cup and my eyes just fixed on her.... I was really really mesmerized by her shining eyes which was facing mine directly and her lips which she was biting a little while looking down and above that sharp nose and her cherry cheeks.... Everything forced me to look at her and my heart didn't allowed me to take my eyes off from her....

She was just standing like that waiting for me to take that coffee cup in my hands.... Anu pinched my thigh which made to come to the sense and I took the coffee cup while glaring at Anu.... That girl quickly left the place without even caring about me.... Then, only I realized that I forgot to say her....

'Thank you' I said while looking at that girl which made everyone to laugh at me....

She turned back and smiled at me which made me to go crazy looking at her.... I started to sip the coffee while looking down and that's when I heard that.....

'Aprom enna? Unga ponna engaluku romba pudichirukku.... Engagement fix panlaama?' My mom said while looking at them smilingly....

I was extremely shocked after hearing that and when I looked at that girl she was just standing there while looking at her parents without blinking her eyes....

'Edhukum avanga kitta oru vaarthai kettudulaame' her father said while looking at her....

'Thank God!' I mumbled myself after hearing that but got irritated when my dad said that....

'Enga paiyan-ku naanga edukura mudivu dhaan mukiyam' my dad said while looking at them proudly....

'Apdi ellam onnum illa' I whispered to my dad who was sitting next to Anu....

He glared at me and then turned towards all of them and smiled as nothing happened.... I looked down with my worried face but I was once again became happy by that middle aged perfect man....

'Ennachu? Paiyan-ku ponnukitta edhavadhu pesanuma?' He asked while looking both of us confusedly....

'No!' My dad said with his stern voice and smiled....

'But yes. I need to have a word with your daughter. Shall I?' I asked with my confident voice as I don't want to spoil that girl's life....

My parents looked at me bluntly while Aravinth and Aishwariya just smiled at me warmly which gave me some confidence....

'Sure! You can Anirudh... You just go and talk with him at the backyard' her mother said while looking at her....

'Backyard?' She asked while looking at her Mother bluntly....

That was the first time, I heard her voice and it just melted me.... Her voice just echoed inside my ears but I forced myself not to think of her anyway....

'Yeah! Go to the tea table and talk with him' her mother said while looking at her with a little stare....

She nodded her head and waited for me to accompany her.... I quickly got up and Anu whispered All the best to me which made me to smile like a mad.... I walked away with that gorgeous to the backyard and there was a tea table as her mother said and she just made me to sit there and then she sat opposite to me....

We two didn't even looked each other for one or two minutes.... Then, I just decided myself to start first as I must tell that to her.... But to my shock when I looked at her she too looked at me.... I was just frozen at that moment looking onto her eyes....

'Do you wish to ask me something?' She asked while looking at me with her little smiling face....

I was really surprised to hear the voice of her again which already melted me.... I decided to start my talk or else she'll beat me it seems that much annoyed she is right now....

'Actually, I don't have anything to ask you but just need to tell something about me' I said while looking at her and then flipped my hair....

She smiled and then leaned on the chair while folding her hands.... She sat straightly which indicates me that she's asking me to start.... I smiled and then sat straightly too....

'So, I'm Anirudh Ravichander and now I'm just 25.... And I finished my degree that is Computer Science.... Currently, I don't have no jobs and all' I finished while looking down at the floor seriously....

'But I know all these things' she said while looking at me bluntly....

'That's okay.... I wished to say this to you that's why.... What's your opinion about me?' I asked while looking at her simply....

'Actually, my parents showed me your photo earlier itself.... Everybody in my family liked you very much that's why this ceremony is happening here' she said while looking down at the table and was playing with her fingers....

'I don't want your family's certificate.... What's your view about me?' I asked while looking at her fixedly....

'You're smart, educated, talking so genuinely and.... And I hope so this and all will satisfy a girl like me' she said while looking at me with her confused face and still I can't find the answer for her confusion....

'But the main qualification that you need is missing right? Job! I'm pretty sure that your future will not be safe along with me' I said while looking at her eyes straightly....

'But I didn't' she started but was cut off by me....

'I'm not ready for this marriage.... I'm sorry what's your name?' I asked while looking at her bluntly....

'So, you don't even know my name ah?' She asked while looking at me with her shocked face....

'Sorry! No body told me anything about you' I said while looking at her with my pleading eyes....

'By that I got a chance of telling you about me.... That's really nice right' she said while smiling herself and then looked at me smilingly....

'May I?' She added while looking at me with her gleaming eyes....

'Please' I said while moving front so that I can hear more clearly...

'I'm Athulya.... I have also completed IT and not yet working.... I....' she dragged for a while and then stopped quickly while sighing heavily looking down at the table.... Then, she looked back at me and smiled.... We talked for a while and shared each other about our family and everything and everytime I was trying hard to make herself hate me....

'Okay! Now it's your turn to say.... But I'm saying you again that I can't work like a machine and I won't fill the house fully with money and all' I said while looking at her sternly....

She smiled looking at me and then got up from the chair.... She started to walk and so I too followed her back.... When she reached near the door she turned and looked at me for a while.... I looked on to her eyes straightly and smiled without my knowledge.... She smiled and nodded her head in disbelief and then moved away allowing me to enter inside the house.... I just entered inside the house and then she came inside smilingly.... She went to her group of friends and mingled with them and I just went and sat beside Arvinth who was sitting beside Aishwariya and Anu....

'So, What's next?' Aravinth whispered inside my ears....

'Lunch only' I replied while looking at him smilingly....

'What?' He asked while looking at me with his confused face....

'Wait! Why did you dressed in this manner? Now only I'm noticing you' I said while looking at him angrily....

'Actually, Basically, Physically....' He dragged while looking at me smilingly....

'Nee...' I started and was stopped when I heard that....

'Ponna ellarukum pudichirukka?' That middle aged lady who's name is Amirtha asked all of  a sudden....

I looked at my parents who were looking at them smilingly and started to shiver in tension.... I looked at Athulya for a while and it seems like she was also reacting exactly like me....

'Ponna engalukku pudichirukku' my mom said while looking at my dad smilingly and my dad too nodded his head assuringly....

Even I can tolerate the fact that my parents accepted this marriage but I was really shocked when I heard that from my bro....

'Irundhalum Athulya kitta oru varthai kettudulaame' Aravinth said while looking at everyone smilingly....

Everyone looked at Aravinth bluntly while I was smiling widely looking at him....

'Dei! Life-la first time oru nalla vishayam panni irukka.... Keep it up!' I said while looking at Aravinth smilingly....

'Unakaaga panla.... Andha ponnu life waste aaga kudathu nu pannean' he said while looking at me smiling sarcastically....

'Appo edhukku en life-ah waste panna?' Aishwariya asked while looking at him with her annoyed face as she was hearing our conversation which made me to smile looking at her....

'Nee konjam summa irukiya?' Aravinth said while looking at her with his worried face....

'Ellarum summa irunga... Eppa paarthalum sanda pottukittu' Anu said while looking at us angrily....

We all turned towards the hall and concentrated the conversation going over there....

'Unaku Anirudh-ah pudichirukka Athulya?' Her dad Ragunadhan asked while looking at her tensely....

She looked at her friends who was signalling her to say it frankly.... She sighed and then looked at her dad with her pleading eyes and then turned towards me and when she turned towards I wished for a while that she could not say no to me but I was really shocked when I heard that from her.... My heart stopped for a while and my eyes were filled with tears without my knowledge.... Everybody looked at me which made me to wipe off my tears quickly and fake a smile to them....
