If this were my last day, 

I'd stand by a window and stay so,

While I watched the driveway. 

If this were my last day, 

I hope I'd watch what I say to my siblings, 

And carefully say no idle things. 

If this were my last day, 

I hope I'd go in a good way and suffer no loss;

I hope I'd give my life to a good cause, 

So I'd feel fine as I say "Goodbye." 

However,

It isn't my last day, 

But perhaps it should be. 

So I'd be kinder to those around me.

I wish it were my last day.
