Insects Night

A dragonfly's graceful flight,
After being a friend so near,
Few stars light the night,
Though the sky is so clear.

A web so fragile,
The spiders home so thin,
Matches the aracnid, so docile,
Waiting patiently for her din.

A cricket chimes,
At first alone,
He's talked many times,
From the comfort of home.

And here I sit on this slab,
Located over the lake,
Not feeling one bit sad,
As in, these sights, I take.
