After their victory over the Shie Hassaikai, the Sky Knights rounded up all the remaining Shie Hassaikai members. Once they were rounded up, Overhaul as well as his lieutenants were captured and sent to various Sky Knight prison facilities across Atmos. In the immediate aftermath, Aizawa and Starling met with some of the Sky Knight leaders. 

Aizawa: You all did a good job today. Thanks to your efforts, we've broken the back of the Shie Hassaikai. Whatever Overhaul had planned, we've put an end to that. 

As Aizawa said that, Midoriya and the rest of the young Sky Knight leaders couldn't help but smile at this. They all took pride in putting a stop to an organization that sought to fill in the power vacuum left behind by the Cyclonian Empire. But for Midoriya and Mirio, they took greater pride knowing that Eri had been saved. 

Midoriya: What will happen to Eri?

Starling: Eri will no doubt be dealing with some trauma. Who know what she had to endure under Overhaul. But Aizawa and I decided to take the girl in. 

Aizawa: We'll see to it that she gets the help she needs. All of you take the time to rest. You've all earned it. 

As Aizawa said this, most of the Sky Knights leave for their ships. Midoriya and Mirio however remain. Aizawa and Starling quickly pieced together that they wanted to see Eri. They quickly took the two Sky Knights where Eri was being held. Once the two Sky Knights were left alone with Eri, they approached her. 

Midoriya: How....how are you feeling, Eri?

Without hesitation, Eri runs over and hugs Midoriya and Mirio tightly. The two Sky Knights said nothing as they hugged her back. 

Eri: The...the two Sky Knights offered to take me in. 

Midoriya: They're good Sky Knights, Eri. They'll protect you. 

Eri: But...but I want stay with you. You two saved me. 

Mirio: I'm sorry, but we have our own duties. But don't worry! Midoriya and I will visit you whenever we get the chance! 

Midoriya: Mirio's right, Eri. We both have our duties as Sky Knights to help those like you. There's a lot of people around Atmos who need our help. And....and we have a duty to give them that help. 

Eri: Will....will I see you again?

Midoriya and Mirio smiled. 

Mirio: Can you do me a favor, Eri? I want you to keep smiling no matter what. A world without smiles and humor...has no bright future.

As Mirio said that, Midoriya's mind fell on what All Might said to him when the Cyclonian Empire launched it's invasion of Atmos. 

Midoriya: When there's nothing to be gained, rising to the challenge at those times... is surely the mark...of a true hero. A true Sky Knight.

Eri gives off a warm smile before hugging Midoriya and Mirio once more. With that, the two said their goodbyes to Eri and left. As they were about to part ways, Midoriya and Mirio spoke one another. 

Mirio: That was fine work you did, Midoriya. 

Midoriya: I couldn't have done it with you and the others, Mirio. 

Mirio: Don't knock yourself, Midoriya. Let's face it. Today, you were the hero. You were the one who took down Overhaul when I got knocked out. You rescued Eri. You're on your way to being a great Sky Knight. 

Midoriya smiled as the two shook hands and parted ways. In that moment, Midoriya took great pride at the good he accomplished today. Meanwhile, one of the Sky Knight transport ships was transporting Overhaul to Tartarus Prison. On the way there, the ship was shot out of the sky and crashed at an unnamed Terra. Moments later, the door was reduced to ash as Shigaraki began to approach Overhaul. 

Shigaraki: So you are the great Overhaul? Imagine my disappointment. When I heard that you were making moves to try and replace the Cyclonian Empire as the new power in Atmos, I was almost impressed. But clearly all the things that have been said about you have been....exaggerations. 

Overhaul: And who the hell are you? 

Shigaraki: One attack from the weakened Sky Knights and the great Shie Hassaikai crumbles like a house of cards? That's pretty pathetic. But I'll be the first to admit that your organization has....promise. And while most of you have been captured by the Sky Knights, I'm sure there's still a few left looking for a new power to join. Luckily for them, that's where I come in. Of course....that just leaves one little problem.....you. 

Overhaul said nothing as Shigaraki walked over to Overhaul with a sadistic smile on his face.

Shigaraki: I've been watching you for quite some time. And while your powers could be put to good use, I'm afraid you're too much of a liability to keep around. Plus....I wouldn't want to keep looking over my shoulders with you around. So I'm just going to kill you and save myself the headache. 

Shigaraki then places his hand over the bound Overhaul and activates his power. Overhaul slowly decays into dust. In a matter of moments, Overhaul was no more. As Overhaul's ashes were scattered, Shigaraki looks up to the sky. He then glances over to the neighboring Terras. With Overhaul dead, Shigaraki's power had once more been secured. Now he was free to further consolidate his own power base within the ruins of the Cyclonian Empire. But for now, the light of hope continues to shine, even through the growing darkness.
