I have no idea what to title this stuff anymore😛  Anyways, I went on vacation like right after I posted...O think that was why I was rushed, idk tho.  Anyways, I went to Saratoga Springs, and got to go to Niagara Falls on the way there (somehow it was on the way, just like ten minutes off the route) and I got to go to the tracks (Oklahoma Training Track and Saratogas main track) , and it was amazing. 

This was Niagara Falls, it was really pretty, but REALLY hot, it was about 90°F, which is hot to me.  Canada is across the way, btw, my phone thought I was IN Canada so it said it was going to charge me per phone call and maybe text, I was kinda had, but I think I only took pics👌

And yes, for those racing fans, this is him.  I fangirled, but tried to keep quiet, the photographers next to me didnt even notice until he was on the far turn of the training track.  For those who dont know what I'm talking about, this is Classic Empire, he won the breeders cup jeuvenille last year and participated in the Kentucky Derby this year, Ive always liked him, but sometimes dont care for his antics.  He actually refused to work the morning I was there.  The photographers (with binoculars😏 were saying that-I saw a lead pony or outrider out there-people were trying to get Classy running, but it wasnt working.

  I also got to meet people that I look up to very much...Jean Cruguet, Ron Turcotte, and Brauilo Baeza (spelling?sorry).  It was so amazing (btw, for those wondering, I'm the closest brunette and photo credits to my dad.)  I also did get to see Tom Durkins talk for a little bit, but we had to leave cuz we had a long (three day) drive home.

Anyways, I did draw😮 believe it or not.  Did I finish?  No😁😬

Wow, its upside down, thanks Wattpad.  This was just a small 5 by 7 sketch of improvement I guess to see if watching the horses helped me draw.  Answer...despite accidentally not looking at it straight on (making the proportions off) the muscles are a whole ton better, its hard to see from that.

Again, whatever, sorry guys.  I know it isnt perfect but I think its pretty good without references.  I didnt even use a reference for the jockey😄😂  I want to add a background, but I'm not totally confident on that yet.  I know the neck is a little long too, but its too late, this is what happens when you ask your mom for advice.  I even asked her if the neck was too long amd she goes "no, but the chest needs to be higher", so I raised it and she goes "that looks really good" So yeah, should've gone with my gut, but its too late.  I love how the hind end turned out though lol.

Hey Wattpad worked!!!  Anyways, I'm really excited to shade this beauty!  It is a reference sketch using a grid.  I think I changed the top of the neck after this picture☝

First pastel pencil horse Ive ever done.  I was actually proud of this, I only had a black and a white at the time, but paper I thought was scrappy is actually wonderful, I just cpuldve blended it better in spots. The mane was so fun to draw😊and usually its not

I'm so sad that school is starting in a week😢  I know most people are in school, but we start late and we are like the last to end (mid June)  Regardless, its too long and too stressful.  So heres a picture of my cat in a cat cube to cheer us up (if you're sad, if not, just enjoy😊)
