Why not? Trigger warning: Lots of cussing; Polygamous pairing

      Jeremy sat on a bean bag in Michael's basement along with his two crushes, Michael and James. He had liked the both of them for a while now, but didn't know how to tell them. He held a controller in his hand and was playing Apocalypse of the Damned. He looked over at James, and then at Michael. Jeremy noticed that Michael was looking over at James with a smile.
       He noticed James was blushing, did he like Michael as well? Most likely, yes. Then, Michael kissed James's cheek and his feelings sunk. They were together? Jeremy thought for a moment. He then stood up and stated he would be right back. He ran upstairs and his in the bathroom.
       "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!" Jeremy mumbled, his eyes tearing up. "Why is this so fucking difficult?!" He closed his eyes and let the tears fall. He ran his hands through his hair and gripped the hair in his hands. After about an hour of this, he heard a knock on the door, "Jeremy?" It was James. Suddenly he heard Michael's voice as well, "You ok?"
      "I-I'm fine..." Jeremy responded, not wanting either of them to know the truth. "Jere, don't lie to us." Jeremy sighed at Michael's voice. "I will break this door down if you don't let us in," James chimed in. Jeremy quickly wiped his eyes the best he could and took a shaky breath™. He got up and opened the door, seeing both Michael and James standing there with worried expressions.
      The fact that Jeremy looked like he had been crying for an hour, which he had been, did not help with their concern. They responded to this with, "Dude! You had us worried!" And, "Holy fuck man! What happened!" Jeremy wiped his eyes once again. "Were you crying?" the two asked simultaneously. Jeremy shook his head. James glared for a moment before grabbing Jeremy and hugging him.
      "You can tell us what's wrong. You know that right?" Jeremy blushed at the close contact and began to cry into James's hoodie. Michael soon joined in the hug. Everyone slowly sank to the ground and continued to hug. Eventually, Jeremy felt better and was released. He wiped his eyes once again. James looked over at Michael, who nodded.
      "Jeremy, will you go out with us?" James asked. Jeremy blinked in response, blushing, "A-Are you serious?" Michael and James both nodded. This time, Michael spoke, "We love you bro." Jeremy laughed. Michael and James looked upset for moment before Jeremy stated, "I am so in love with both of you. In a romantic way." Michael was the first to start smiling. He jumped at Jeremy and hugged him.
      James got pulled into the hug as well. Jeremy kissed both of his new boyfriend's cheeks. They all laughed and exchanged excited, "I love you's" and "I'm so happy's" After a while, the trio stood up and headed back into the basement and began to discuss where they were going to go on their date. Jeremy suggested they go to that one ice cream place, "Al la mode, I think." James excitedly agreed. Michael then asked, "Isn't that by the orchard?" Jeremy nodded in response. And so, they continued to plan their date.
