EPILOGUE

Third Person

Yeosang woke up with a smile on his face when he felt a soft pair of lips pressed on his forehead.

"Good morning."

Yeosang moaned as he stretched his body to relieve his muscles, "Morning. I thought you went to work."

Seonghwa snuggled onto the younger, burying his head on Yeosang's neck. "I want to spend my time with you."

The younger could playfully roll his eyes at the laziness and affection, "You're going to be late for work. I'm going to be late for my work so please let me go--"

Yeosang shrieked when the elder pulled him to sit on the latter's lap and sandwiched him with his own body, making Yeosang much more smaller compared to Seonghwa's body.

"You're not going anywhere." Seonghwa's emitted his raspy and morning voice that made Yeosang's body shudder. "I want you to stay with me, or who knows...another round?" He began teasing the smaller with a playful wink.

Yeosang scoffed, "Gosh, Seonghwa! Tell me what pills are you taking for you to be this horny in the morning?" He quickly averted his gaze away from his husband, "We just had three rounds last night. Isn't that enough?"

Seonghwa let out a deep chuckle, finding it too amusing for Yeosang to be flustered early in the morning. "As long as it's you, it's never enough. But I understand that you're tired so I won't force you or anything."

"Good, because my ass is still sore. I'm surprised I can still walk."

Seonghwa shot his husband a toothy grin while caressing his bare back. He quickly changed their positions from Yeosang sitting on his abdominal area to Seonghwa hovering over the younger. Seonghwa gave him a smug look before leaning down to kiss Yeosang's pink and shining lips.

When Seonghwa pulled out, Yeosang reacted, "Hwa! I haven't brushed my teeth!"

The elder snorted at the ridiculous statement, "What?"

"Morning breath." Yeosang rolled his eyes.

"We've been together for almost ten years and you still care about morning breath? I kissed every part of your body, even your ass--"

"Stop! You're embarrassing me!" Yeosang covered his face using both of his hands because of the embarrassment. How dare he tell such information! His face was like a tomato when re-imagining the scene last night.

Seonghwa cackled hard, removing the younger's hands away from his face, "I'm joking, I'm joking. I'm sorry," Seonghwa wasn't sorry at all, in fact, he enjoys seeing Yeosang's flustered face.

Yeosang pouted while his eyebrows were narrowed. He's angry but a cute angry.

"Get off me, you pig." Yeosang tried pushing him away but since Seonghwa's body was much more larger compared to his, he gave up. "Hwa, I'm going to be late--"

"I love you so much, baby."

Yeosang was caught off guard. He was surprised how sweet Seonghwa can be and it made Yeosang grin so much, it felt like there was a zoo having a festival inside his stomach. Wow, even after almost ten years of being together, Seonghwa can still make him flutter like their early days.

"I love you too, Hwa."

Hearing that, Seonghwa began to pamper the younger with soft kisses on his face which made Yeosang giggle a lot. The elder didn't stop but rather went down to kiss the other's jaw and neck, finding his ticklish spot.

"Hwa...stop..." Yeosang whines with a mixture of laughs emanating the room, and it is music to Seonghwa's ears.

Seonghwa gave a dark and raspy chuckle as he went down further. His lips pecked the latter's chest and flat stomach which had faint abs and muscle linings.

Then he stopped to where Yeosang's soulmate mark was engraved. The lovely signature of Seonghwa is still there and vivid as if it was newly tattooed. The elder leaned in and kissed the mark on the other's hip.

"I could never stop loving this mark of yours."

Yeosang's face flushed red. Of course, that mark had been special for the both of them. It meant a lot to them despite their darkest times. They promised themselves that they will forever cherish one another, and forever love each other until their death.

"I'm still so happy that I have my signature on your back." Yeosang sat up to face his husband properly. He gently held on to the elder's cheek, "It means you really loved me. That is reassuring."

Seonghwa captured Yeosang's almost swollen lips, "Now you can stop being jealous over my secretary." He joked and the younger scoffed at the ridiculous matter. Seonghwa placed the other's arms on his neck. Yeosang tried to contain his frown but couldn't help but smile as he traced Seonghwa's mark on his back, "This mark means I'm yours, love."

"I know," Yeosang winked, "I still wonder how did you get it. I thought it only applies to me."

"I guess making love was the answer. I'm not complaining though. I love it."

Seonghwa's lips trailed to Yeosang's jawline, not having enough affection from his husband.

"Ugh, why are you so sweet today?"

Yeosang suppressed a moan, tilting his head to the right to give Seonghwa some access to his neck. He truly has no idea why Seonghwa is so needy every morning. But he's glad that he'd get to experience this everyday.

"I wanna adopt."

Yeosang's smile faltered, replacing it with a deflated look.

"That won't work on me, Park Seonghwa."

"Why not?" The elder whined.

"Because you already have three running in our house!"

"Three boys, honey. I want a baby girl."

"I don't know, Hwa. I feel like I'm going to have an arthritis just raising the triplets."

It distressed Yeosang a little bit. Seonghwa has been hinting that he wants to adopt another baby but this time a girl. Don't get the younger one wrong, he loves babies too but he thinks the triplets are enough. Besides, he just became a licensed doctor recently so he wouldn't have the time to raise another kid.

"I promise it's the last one. I just want a cute girl. I mean...our Jinsoo wanted to have a baby sister. Hmm?" Seonghwa still tried to convince Yeosang upon adopting a new baby, using his usual flirting technique by snuggling his head on the crook of Yeosang's neck.

Unfortunately, it didn't work for him.

"Seonghwa, please. I don't want to start an argument. We've talked about this and I refused. Three is enough."

Seonghwa sighed out in defeat as he let go of Yeosang's body. Yeosang managed to get out of Seonghwa's grip and went straight to the bathroom. Seonghwa frowned, overthinking that persuading him might be too much.

----

"Good morning Dr. Park!"

The interns greeted Yeosang with a bubbly smile as they passed by him. Of course, Yeosang being the polite man he is, he bowed down to his coworkers.

"Hi, Dr. Park, how you doing?" One of his friends and coworkers greeted him with a huge smile and a coffee in his hand.

"I'm good Dr. Bang. You?" Yeosang returned a smile to his coworker.

Chan chuckled lightly, "Good too. By the way, Mr. Jung is waiting for you at your office."

"Really? Alright, thanks. Have a good day!"

As Yeosang bid goodbye to the blonde-haired male, he went straight to his office which is about fifty meters away.

When he opened the door, he was greeted by his best friend that stick with him during these years, Wooyoung.

"Woo, what are you doing here? Don't you have work?"

Wooyoung stood up from Yeosang's office chair and shot a smile as he handed out an envelope. "Good day seeing you, Dr. Park." He smirked while emphasizing the new last name for Yeosang.

Yeosang gave an eye roll but smiled at his best friend's cheekiness, "I changed my last name two years ago. Why are you still teasing me about it?"

"Because your friend is Jung Wooyoung, and I tease you about everything. Besides, the reason why you changed your last name is still funny to me."

Oh, Yeosang could remember it well. It was two and a half years ago when Yeosang met an intern named Joonjae. The intern took a liking to Yeosang and tried to court him for a few months. Even though Yeosang told the intern that he's happily married, Joonjae didn't believe a thing and wishes to continue courting him. Even though Seonghwa has appeared countless times to scare the intern off, well it didn't work because Joonjae sticks with the idea that Seonghwa and Yeosang are just friends. Seonghwa got furious and practically begged Yeosang to take his last name because he can't take the jealousy anymore.

And since Yeosang loves Seonghwa so much, he did change his last name from Kang Yeosang to Park Yeosang.

After that, Seonghwa and Yeosang shared a kiss in front of the intern, and the intern stopped courting him and apologized to both Seonghwa and Yeosang.

"Yeah yeah, go laugh about it. Anyway, what's the letter for?"

Yeosang quickly changed the subject, his eyes darted to the envelope that piqued his interest.

"Ah, it's a wedding invitation," Wooyoung answered.

"Oh? Who's getting married?"

"Jongho."

Yeosang widens his eyes at the name, "Jjong? I haven't heard him in years. Good thing he's going to get married."

"Yeah, I was surprised too when he contacted me." Wooyoung shrugged, "He and his fiance had been together for five years now. I'm happy for him."

Yeosang forced a smile, "I'm happy that he really took the heart to get over Lia. Really, Jjong has been through a lot..."

Wooyoung hummed sadly, "Good thing he moved on from her, while me..." He trailed off, "I'm still waiting...even though ten years had passed."

Ten years huh...

Wooyoung is very successful in life now, thanks to his hard work and the Kangs. Since Yeosang wasn't able to take over his dad's business, Wooyoung took over it instead along with Seonghwa and it became much more successful than it was for the last years.

But obviously, his life isn't complete for one reason.

It's been ten years after San's disappearance.

Even though his disappearance is just temporary, everyday Wooyoung felt internally dying because of longingness.

"Thinking about him...?"

Wooyoung stretched a forced smile, "I always do, Sangie."

"Can't believe you're willing to wait for him..."

No joke. Wooyoung stayed true to himself. In those ten years, he never got into a relationship. A lot asked him out but none of them could even replace San. It was hard for Wooyoung to keep up with it. He kept... Waiting...Waiting...and Waiting.

How surprising...

Wooyoung's patience is really something else...

"Maybe I'm destined to be the single rich uncle who spoils your children." Wooyoung tried to joke it off, which made his best friend cackle.

Yeosang nudged his shoulder, "I still can't believe you gave the triplets the latest model of iPad. They're just five! They should be playing with toy cars and dinosaurs...or whatever."

"It's fine, Sangie! They can just play car or dinosaur games on there."

Yeosang facepalmed. How could the triplets say that he's the best uncle in the world?

"Anyway, I should go now. I'm going to be late for work. Jongho's number is in there by the way. You can just contact him when you feel like to or if you need details about the wedding." Wooyoung said as he gave a quick hug to Yeosang. "Bye Dr. Park." He teased once again before bidding him goodbye.

The doctor rolled his eyes, "Bye."

When Wooyoung finally left the room, Yeosang plopped into his office chair and held the envelope, slowly examining the design and the fancy lettering that says 'You're invited!'

----

It's break time for Yeosang and he was about to get out of the hospital building to get some coffee.

He stopped by at the emergency room to see around three patients laying down on the hospital bed. Oh, he remembered so much from the past years when he got two accidents in a year. He used to hate hospitals and doctors, it traumatized him so much. But now, he overcame that fear and his past experiences made him become a doctor; a pediatrician.

Suddenly, he overheard someone sobbing. Yeosang turned to look in that direction to see that a female nurse was crying and a male nurse trying to comfort her.

"I-It broke my heart. It's just my first week here and I can't even save her."

The nurse buried her head on the male's chest, crying everything out.

Yeosang didn't hesitate to approach the two nurses, "Hello, Nurse Lim. What's the matter?"

The female nurse turned to make eye contact with Yeosang, wiping her tears away but the sadness is still evident on her face. "G-Good day, Dr. Park. I just witnessed a mother dying while on labor."

Oh...

"What's heartbreaking is the mother is homeless, and no one is going to take care of her baby. No one wants to adopt the child because of her mother's background." The male nurse elaborated.

That's...indeed heartbreaking.

After their conversation, Yeosang, together with the nurses, immediately went straight to where the baby's section is.

The nurse pointed at the baby girl in the third crib. The babies usually have their nametags on the cribs to know whose child does it belong to. But the baby girl doesn't have one for obvious reasons.

Yeosang's heart softened when seeing the baby sleeping peacefully.

"Cute, right?"

Yeosang nodded with a smile, ignoring the familiar voice.

Familiar voice...that he haven't heard for the last ten years.

Yeosang abruptly turned his head to face that person.

"Miss Minji?"

The grey-haired chuckled, "Long time no see, Kang--oops! Park Yeosang."

Yeosang's eyes are about to drop down to the floor when seeing his...aunt-in-law.

Minji gave an eye to the two nurses, "Doctors are calling you. Better go now 'cause it's an emergency." She strictly told the two and the nurses immediately bowed and left them alone.

Yeosang was still puzzled as to why Minji came up out of nowhere.

"I do miss your blonde hair, you know. Well, black suits you too but I wouldn't be able to call you blondie anymore." Minji faked a pout to ease up the tension between them.

"W-What are you doing here?" The doctor stuttered, still not believing Minji is right in front of him.

"Giving you an order actually," Minji leaned against the wall, eyes darting to the baby girl in the third crib. "She was supposed to be dead."

Yeosang tilted his head upon confusion, "Excuse me? Did you just say that baby girl was supposed to be dead?"

"I didn't stutter, didn't I?"

"But...how is she alive?"

"Yeosang dear, did you forget who I am?"

Right, she's a goddess. Everything about her is unexplanatory.

"You revived her."

"Bingo." Minji sneered, "See, I'm not heartless after all...well, I actually did it for a reason."

"Of course you would."

Minji ignored the remark, "I want you to adopt the child and name her Ria."

Yeosang was taken aback by the order given to him, "Miss Minji, I have triplets to take care of. I can't take the girl. Besides, maybe her father might find her--"

"Her father is dead from starvation. Her mother just died from labor. They are both living in the streets so she has no relatives. The only thing is to put her up for adoption which is not a good idea."

"Why do you think so?" Yeosang asked.

Minji could roll her eyes at the questions, too many questions, "She will be taking the wrong path. You see, I put the same spell on her. The soulmate curse."

----

A week later...

It has been a week and Yeosang finalized that he will be adopting the baby girl. Since the papers are done and have been signed by him, he will be able to take Ria home.

And the thing is, Seonghwa and the triplets don't know yet. This means Yeosang will be surprising them with a new baby.

Yeosang smiled at the thought. He had been so fond of the little girl and he knew that Seonghwa will be so happy knowing Yeosang had already adopted a baby girl, which he was been hinting at for a few months now.

When he parked his car inside the garage, he jumped out of the car and took the baby with him, not forgetting to lock it.

Entering the house, the room feels opaque and silent. He tried calling out their names but no answer.

"Weird. Seonghwa said it's his day off today. Did he go somewhere?" He asked himself while walking down to the living room.

And that's where he spotted Seonghwa sleeping peacefully with the triplets. Jinsoo napping on the large couch that could be a bed of five people, Junyeon sleeping on Jinsoo's lap while hugging his favorite dinosaur stuffed toy, and Jihoon cuddled up with Seonghwa who is securely holding him in place.

Adorable.

Yeosang's four favorite people...now it could add to five since Ria is now part of the family.

Jinsoo suddenly woke up, rubbing his eyes before seeing Yeosang standing in front of them.

"Dada's home!" Jinsoo exclaimed in excitement, managing to get off from Junyeon's body--which made him wake up by the sudden motion from his brother.

Jinsoo went to hug Yeosang's lower body, now followed by Junyeon.

"Dada! We missed you. Daddy was telling us how he missed you so much and he can't live without you." Junyeon started off.

"Yeah! We hear the same thing everyday! How do you not get tired of it, Dada?" Jinsoo stomped his feet, pissed that Seonghwa kept ranting to his children on how perfect Yeosang looks everyday.

Yeosang could only just coo at their cuteness, so he kissed each of their cheeks, "You will know why when you grow up."

"But I'm a grown-up now! I'm five!" Jinsoo tried convincing and Junyeon agreed.

"Yes! And I want to know why does Daddy keep eating your face. It's disgusting!" Junyeon gagged as if he was going to throw up.

Yeosang was bewildered by that sudden sentence. "My goodness! Where did you learn that from? What is Daddy teaching you, kids?"

"Why are you blaming me, sweetheart? At least I was honest-- wait a second," No one noticed but Seonghwa already woke up, together with Jihoon in his arms.

Jihoon crept in a smile, "Is that a new baby?"

Everyone's eyes darted to the baby in Yeosang's arms.

"Surprise! Meet your little sister, Ria."

Jinsoo clapped excitedly, he'd always wanted a baby sister and he is happy that it came true. Junyeon was amazed on how small the baby's face looked and he tried touching her cheek to which Ria gave a small smile.

"She's so cute, Dada! Can we play with her?"

"Not now, kids. Our Ria needs some rest. Why don't you guys go to your room and wash yourself up. We will have dinner right after, okay?" Yeosang smiled softly and the kids sighed but decided to follow the order.

The triplets went upstairs, having their usual bickering on who is going to shower first. Yeosang just chuckled it off, finding it too adorable.

The next thing he knew, Seonghwa was already in front of him.

"You...really adopted a baby? Why didn't you tell me?"

Yeosang grinned, "I wanted it to be a surprise."

"But you told me you didn't want to?"

"Well...I changed my mind. I got her at the hospital. Her biological parents are homeless and dead, and I have a strong feeling that no one will adopt her because of her parents' background. So I did." The younger explained, "I'm sorry if it's sudden."

Seonghwa's heart softened, kissing his husband's forehead, "Don't be sorry, love. I love the surprise." He leaned in to kiss the baby's forehead, "Hello Ria! Welcome to the family."

Yeosang sighed and frowned when remembering his encounter with Minji. His main reason for adopting the baby girl is because he didn't want Ria to go through what Yeosang and Seonghwa had to go through during those dark times. He promised to himself that he will guide his daughter to find her soulmate.

What's strange is that...

Ria's eyes looked like Lia's.

Yeosang just chuckled when realizing.

You really did keep your promise...to see me again in the next ten years, huh?

"Sangie."

Yeosang slowly made eye contact with his love of his life, "Hmm?"

"I love you so much."

Seonghwa leaned in to claim the younger's lips. It wasn't a sloppy nor a heated kiss, but a kiss full of passion, sincerity, and contentedness.

Wow, ten years.

Ten years of happiness. Ten years of staying strong together. Ten years of being contented with life.

Ten years of being in love.
