Moreni smiled sadly looking at Kike who gave her all her attention

" I did something in the past" Moreni said and Kike got confused

" What did you do?"Kike asked

"Timothy use to be my boyfriend right from University days,he was a close friend before we started dating. He really loves me and shows me that in every opportunity he gets, so we started having premarital sex right from University days and one day I got pregnant. I told him about it and he planned on getting married to me right away, we started planning our wedding without informing our families first. We wanted to get all the necessary things ready. The week we are suppose to visit each other's family,I remember telling Mom then that the man who wants to marry me will be coming over this weekend and she was so happy I will be getting married at a young age,I was just twenty one years then. So it was during that week I saw Jide and approached him,collected his number and we started talking online though initially he wasn't that responsive but I kept on pressing on and we started talking all the time. I was so much in love with him and went ahead and aborted Timothy's baby"

" What?! Why?"Kike asked looking very surprised

" It's not a month,two months old pregnancy. It's six months plus pregnancy"Moreni said and started crying quietly,Kike covered her mouth up immediately,she can't believe her sister can do that

"So I cancelled our supposed wedding,Timothy never met my parents and when mom asked me about it I lied to her telling her I found out he is not a good man,mom said I should forget about it that I'm young anyways"Moreni said and sniffed chuckling softly " I didn't know I was busy destroying myself"

"I started dating Jide and things got serious between us and he wanted to make me his wife after so many years, I was so happy. I remembered that day as the happiest day in my life. I was happy my dream is finally coming to pass but karma is a bitch,I got back what I did to Timothy"Moreni said and chuckled dryly

" I'm sorry"Kike said looking away

"It's fine now. Timothy actually talked sense into me and now I see a lot of things,Jide wasn't mine from the start. I forced it, maybe God wanted the both of you to meet through me and even if there isn't me,you guys would have met nevertheless"Moreni said and smiled " Timothy proposed marriage to me,he will help me out of this prison and I'm going to accept it. I'm going to make up for all the things I did in the past,most people don't get lucky like me"

" I'm so happy for you sister,I prayed you should get out of here soon"Kike said and Moreni smiled "I hope you don't harbor any hatred towards me anymore"

" I was going to ask thesame,I'm totally okay with you"Moreni said and smiled showing her teeth

" Same here,I'm perfectly okay with you" Kike said and stand up. Moreni did thesame too and hugged Kike,Kike hugged her sister back while they cries a little and ended it with a short laugh

"Live a good life" Moreni said and Kike nodded

"So do you"Kike said and waved at Moreni before leaving the prison, immediately she left she broke down and fall on the ground and started crying. It felt like she was saying her final goodbye to her sister but she had never felt so complete, atleast her sister isn't on bad terms with her anymore.

Lazily going back home she met Jide in the sitting room watching movie

"Good evening" Kike said and Jide turn to see her smiling

"How was the talk?" Jide asked

"Perfectly okay. Where you able to talk to the person I need to meet?"Kike asked

" Yes,she's okay having you over. When do you plan on leaving?"Jide asked

" Next tomorrow,I have to see Rose tomorrow and then leave the following day"Kike said and Jide nodded

" I prepared dinner,you should eat before going to bed" Jide said

" Okay"Kike said and went inside ,Jide sighed and took his laptop going through some office work,he had decided to leave the company in the hands of his most trusted employee. Jide sighed and closed the laptop when he couldn't get anything done.

Kike squinted as the early morning sun disturbs her sleep,she forgot to pull the curtains down the previous night. She stood up and yawn heading to the bathroom,she had a cool shower and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast,she met Jide eating surprisedly

"You're up so early" Kike said

"I have some company works to look into" Jide said and Kike nodded, she sat down and started taking her own breakfast

"I will be going over to visit Rose" she said

"Okay"Jide replied and she stood up after eating little. She took her bag and left the house.

She arrived at Rose's place and knocked on the door,the door opened revealing Rose. Rose smile grew when her eyes landed on Kike,she hugged her immediately and ushered her in. She was surprised to see Raphael in the sitting room,she was expecting him to be at work

"He's sick" Rose said after reading the expression on Kike's face

"Okay" Kike said and nodded,she went over to meet Raphael, Raphael smiled when his eyes landed on Kike

"Kike! How are you doing?" Raphael asked

"I'm fine,your wifey said you're sick" Kike said and Raphael nodded "get well soon"

"Thank you" Raphael replied and smiled

Kike went over to meet Rose heading to her room,Rose went to the fridge to get them soft drinks

"So how are you doing?" Rose asked

"I'm very fine as you can see"Kike replied smiling

" When are you coming back to school? We are getting closer to second semester's exam"Rose said and Kike look away before talking

" I'm quitting school"

" I don't understand, quitting school? What are you planning on doing?"Rose asked

" Not quitting like not going to school again,I'm moving out of Lagos"Kike said and Rose eyes widened

" Why will you do that? I think you and Jide are okay now?"Rose asked

" I can't date or marry Jide Rose,I'm not okay with it at all"Kike said and Rose sighed

" I understand how you feel"Rose said smiling while slowly holding Kike's hand " I'm getting married soon,you will come to Lagos right?"Rose suddenly asked

" Of course I will,I can't miss my best friend's wedding for anything"Kike said and Rose chuckled

" That's more like it"Rose said and they started talking about something else.

Raphael overheard what Kike and Rose talked about and took his phone immediately dialling Jide's contact.

"I'm leaving the company in your hands,I hope I won't regret it"Jide said

" Of course you won't,we will always be in contact. Why do you have to leave?"his worker said and he chuckled

" It's a necessary rebirth"Jide said and his worker nodded even though he doesn't understand what Jide said,Jide open his mouth to talk when his phone suddenly started ringing, he took his phone and it was Raphael calling him,his worker excused him leaving him alone in his office

"Hey! What's up?" Jide said after picking the call

"What's going on man? I overheard Kike and Rose talking about Kike leaving Lagos"Raphael said and Jide rubbed his temples

" It's her choice,she wants to leave everything behind"Jide replied

" And you're okay with it?"Raphael asked

" Of course I'm not okay with it,I just don't have a choice. I was planning to tell you when we see this weekend,I'm leaving the country soon. I'm going back to England"Jide said and there was a long pause

" I wasn't expecting that,why will you do that? Does Kike know about it?"Raphael asked

" She doesn't know about it and she have me promise her I won't disturb her or show my face in her life again,that's the only way I can do it"Jide replied clenching his jaws. He's not okay with the arrangement at all but he got no choice

"I'm going to miss you" Raphael muttered but Jide heard

" I'm going to miss you too"Jide said and smiled before the call came to an end.

Jide took Kike to the airport,she smiled and waved him goodbye,she ended it with a long hug. Jide was tempted to beg Kike to stay but didn't

"Are you sure about this? Are you sure you don't want me in your life again?" Jide asked

" Yes"Kike replied and Jide nodded fighting against the tears trying to spill from his eyes,a single word have never hurt him before like this. A simple yes shattering his heart to pieces

"Farewell. I will always think about you" Jide said and Kike sighed

" No you shouldn't. You got to forget about me"Kike said

" You know that's not possible" Jide said and breathes out. He doesn't want to break down in public "I will be going"

"Already?" Kike asked sounding more like a whine,she wanted to enjoy Jide's presence as long as he can

"Yes" Jide said and turn walking away,Kike sighed her shoulder sagging. She turn to walk at the opposite direction when she suddenly felt a hug from the back

"It's so hard Kike,it's so hard to let you go. I'm going to miss you"Jide said and Kike felt his tear drop on her shoulder

" Don't make me rethink about this" Kike said and pull away from the hug turning to see Jide,she wiped the rest of the tears in his eyes and stood on her toes kissing him. Jide didn't kiss her back because he knows if he do Kike won't go anywhere,he took a step away from her and turn walking away without looking back. Immediately he entered his car,he bursted into tears crying his eyes out.

Kike entered the plane and was lucky to sit at the window side,she felt so sad and couldn't control her tears anymore when the plane lifted from the ground. She started crying feeling raw pain and regrets her decision to leave Jide immediately.

Jide look at the building before him,he wondered when last he set his eyes on Moreni and surprisedly for the person he once claimed to love he didn't miss her at all. He sighed and entered the building requesting to see Moreni, the police man asked him to wait while they go fetch Moreni for him.

Moreni was quietly sitting in her cell void of emotions or any thoughts,she heard sounds approaching her and saw a police man opening the door to the cell she's in

"Someone is here to see you" the police man said

"Someone? Who's that?" Moreni asked

"A man,a dark tall man" the police officer replied and Moreni nodded. She immediately think it's Timothy,after Timothy's last visit she have been expecting him but he haven't stop by again to check up on her. Timothy is dark and averagely tall too,she stood up eagerly leaving the prison cell. She followed the warder outside looking around to see the familiar face of Timothy

"Moreni!" She heard and knew immediately that wasn't Timothy,Timothy rarely calls her Moreni,he only call her Agape her other name. She turn around and was surprised to see the last person she thought will ever come to check up on her in the prison

"Jide!"
