Kike wipe her tears with the back of her hand as she entered the bus taking her back to Lagos,she wondered how he life have turn upside down. She tried controlling her tears and place her head on top of her legs, she tried muffling the sound of her cries and slowly sleep took her.

Kike woke up to find herself back in Lagos,she stepped down from the bus and took her bags looking for cab. She successfully arrived back at the familiar house she lives in. She tried opening the door but it was locked,she checked the keys she have with her and opened the door entering inside the house. She went straight to her room and laid on the bed crying her eyes out. She felt fatigue all over and before she knew it sleep took her.

Kike woke up to the aroma of food,she stood up from the bed and head to the kitchen, surprisedly she met Jide in the kitchen preparing spaghetti,she wondered when he came back to the house.

"When did you came back?" Kike asked

"An hour ago,I met you sleeping and guessed you must be hungry when you wake up and decided to prepare dinner"Jide answered

" Dinner?!"Kike asked looking very surprised " I can't believe I slept throughout the day"

"You must be very tired"Jide said and focus back on the pot of spaghetti,he turn the spaghetti and switched off the gas cooker. He took two plates and served the spaghetti in the two plates offering Kike one of it

"Thank you" Kike said and started eating her dinner quietly

" I was surprised to see you at the house,what happened? I wasn't expecting you today"Jide said and Kike swallowed the spaghetti in her mouth before she started talking

"My dad didn't want to see me" she said and sniffed

"I'm sorry"Jide said his shoulders slumping

" It's fine,I will survive" Kike said and continue eating her spaghetti

" What do you plan on doing now? This can't go on like this" Jide asked

" I will visit my sister tomorrow then I don't know,I want to go somewhere far away from everyone"Kike replied and Jide dropped his fork turning to look at Kike

"I don't understand" Jide said and Kike chuckled silently

"I'm leaving Lagos Jide,I don't know how or where I'm going to stay but I can't stay here any longer"Kike said and Jide was short of words momentarily

" What about your school? You just can't leave Lagos"Jide said and Kike sniffed trying to fight back the tears threatening from her eyes

"I don't care about that,I'm leaving this place and all the memories behind"Kike said and Jide grabs Kike's hand immediately

" What about me? What about us?!" Jide asked his eyes stinging with tears

"There was never an us Jide,what ever happened is a mistake,a mistake that cause a lot of troubles,a mistake that end my sister in prison,that made my father to disown us and make me loose interest on schooling here"Kike said and Jide kneel on the floor holding Kike's hand

"Don't leave me please,I'm ready to stay with you. I'm ready to go through all this for you,I love you so much Kike please don't let me go"Jide said and Kike look elsewhere but Jide cried silently

" I can't Jide! The guilt is too much for me,I can't stay with you while my sister is in prison. I can't do that"Kike said and sniff " we have to end this now" Kike said and Jide slumped on the floor. He have never felt his heart so heartbroken like it is now

"I was planning on making it right with you"Jide said and Kike stood up kneeling beside him

" You can never make it right with me" Kike says

"Why will you say that?! You know how much I love you, you know how much you mean to me"Jide said and Kike sniffed placing her head on Jide's chest

" I know those things,I know how much you love me and I love you that much too but this is not right,no matter how we want it to seem right it's never right and I don't want to feel guilty every day I open my eyes"Kike said and felt Jide's tears on her hair

" Why will God send you to me and do this to me too. I was hoping the pregnancy will be the leverage to get married to you"Jide said and Kike chuckled

" Well it didn't happen that way" Kike said and there was a long silence. They were both in each other's embrace on their own world

"Where do you plan on going to? Any relatives?" Jide asked

"I'm not going to any relatives place,I don't even know where I'm going to,I just want to leave maybe somewhere far away with people I'm not used to"Kike replied and heard Jide sigh

" I can't just let you to wander on your own"Jide said and Kike sat up

" Jide we are over this"Kike said and Jide nodded no

" Let me help you"Jide said sitting up " let me help you with a place to stay I swear after that I will stay completely away from you"Jide said and Kike look away " please Kike let me do this last thing for you"

" Okay"Kike said standing up " we should eat the rest of our dinner" she said smiling

"I'm not hungry anymore" Jide said standing up from the floor

"We should savour our last moments together"Kike said and turn to go back and sit down.

"We should savour our last time together yeah?"Jide asked and Kike nodded " then let's do this" Jide said kissing Kike,Kike kissed him and he carried her up.

Waking up in the embrace of Jide,Kike sighed and carefully place Jide's hand beside him on the bed. She stood up and went to her room heading to the bathroom,she had her bath and came outside of the room heading to the kitchen,she did egg sauce and prepared tea too. She suddenly saw Jide entering the kitchen clad only on his boxer

"Planning breakfast on bed?" Jide asked and Kike chuckled

"Was planning on waking you up when I'm done" Kike said and Jide sighed

" You shouldn't be doing this, you're only going to make it hard for me to let you go"Jide said and Kike chuckled

" Sit and eat"Kike said and Jide did just that. Kike served him and she sat down too taking her breakfast "I'm going over to see my sister when I'm done eating" Kike suddenly said

" Okay"Jide said and nodded

" Ever visited her since she was imprisoned?"Kike asked

" No"Jide replied

" You should,I think the both of you needs some closure" Kike said and Jide nodded

" So what about the place you want to look out for, for me?"Kike asked

" We will talk about it when you're back"Jide replied and Kike nodded. They ate the rest of their breakfast in silence. Kike stood up first heading out of the kitchen,Jide cleared the kitchen heading to his room too. Kike got ready and left the house going over to meet Moreni

Jide sighed as he lay down on his bed,he rub his eyes before pulling his phone out. He dialled Monica's contact

"What's up dude?" Monica said after picking his call

" I need your help"Jide said

" Hope everything is alright?" Monica asked

"Yeah! Kinda"Jide rumbled

" What do you need my help on?"Monica asked

" I need your help with Kike,you know her dad disowned her. When she woke up and was discharged from the hospital she went over to ibadan to meet her dad but things didn't go out well,she came back and said she wants to go somewhere far away,she don't want to stay in Lagos anymore and she doesn't want me in her life too"Jide said

" And you're okay with that?"Monica asked

" I'm not okay with it but I have no choice,I can't force myself to be in her life. Though I just beg her to let me help her with somewhere she can stay and she agreed in a condition that I won't contact her,I don't trust anyone that can take care of her like you"Jide said

" You want her to stay with me?"Monica asked

" Yes,I will fund her education and every other things. I don't want her to know I'm the one doing that though"Jide said and Monica sighed

" I have no problem in having her over and I'm sure Daniel doesn't mind too. I'm just worried about you"Monica said and Jide smiled sadly

" I will be fine,I gotta be fine"Jide said and breathes out " I will be leaving the country. I wasn't planning on doing this before but that's the only way I can stay away from her,I'm going back to England"

" Wow! Does aunt Victoria knows about it?"Monica asked

" Not yet, I will let her know. Don't tell Kike too when she comes over to your place,I don't want to worry her with my issues"

"Okay" Monica said

"Thank you"

Kike sighed as she entered the prison and requested to see her sister,she sit on the bench patiently waiting for her sister to come out,she look up to see her when she saw her coming. She was tempted to stand up and run over to hug her but controlled the urge sitting right back

"Good morning" Kike greeted as Moreni sit across her

"What brought you here?" Moreni asked,she look over at Kike and see she's really fine

"Don't you feel we need to talk?" Kike asked and Moreni look away shame suddenly overwhelming her

" I know I started all this sister,I hold no grudges against you. I shouldn't have look at Jide twice when I know he's betrothed to you"Kike said and Moreni turn to see Kike " I couldn't control it sister,I tried! I tried so hard to control what I felt for him but it was harder when he reciprocate same feeling,I'm sorry for sleeping with him,I'm sorry for getting pregnant for him,I'm sorry for betraying your trust in me,I'm sorry for making you think of killing me,I'm sorry for making you end up in prison,I'm sorry for everything!"Kike said and started crying,Moreni tried controlling her own tears but she couldn't and started crying too

"I'm so sorry for everything I have caused you big sister,I shouldn't have done any of those"Kike said and Moreni nodded and started crying louder

"I'm sorry too Kike,I shouldn't have done what I did. I shouldn't have poisoned you,there are other ways I could have handled the situation but I should darkness"Moreni said and sniffed wiping her tears with the back of her hand " Timothy came here" Moreni suddenly said

"Who's Timothy?" Kike asked

"The guy who kidnapped me" Moreni said and Kike nodded in realisation "He said stuffs to me,when I was alone in the cell all I could think about is what he told me,how things could have been very different. My mind was clouded by those things and I started realising things,I started realising a lot of things"

" What are those things he said?"Kike asked
