"You said what?!" Mrs Rotimi shouted and started crying,the look on Mr Rotimi's face was priceless. He couldn't believe his two daughters

"How.... How.... How did Kike allow you to touch her?!" Mrs Rotimi shouted "how can you sleep with my daughter when you promised to marry another! Look at what you turn my Moreni into,look at what you did?!" Mrs Rotimi shouted holding Jide's shirt,Jide let him but his mom stood up to defend him,Jide signal her to let them be "I thought you're a good man,the way Moreni always talk about you but I don't know you're a pervert and sleep with anything on a skirt,how can you do this to my Moreni! Look at what you did to her! Look at how you destroy her life,I curse you Jide! I curse the day I set my eyes on you!"Mrs Rotimi shouted attracting attention in the hospital

" It's okay!" Mr Rotimi shouted shutting his wife up immediately,Mrs Rotimi fell on her husband and started crying profusely

"You destroyed my family! You destroyed my family with your prick! Turning two sisters against each other, making Moreni so bitter resulting to all this! You destroyed my daughters' life!"Mr Rotimi said calmly but dangerously " The wedding have been call off and you can keep Kike,a daughter of mine will never do what she did, she's not my daughter anymore"Mr Rotimi said and Mrs Rotimi stand straight immediately looking at her husband

"You can't say that my love,Kike is your daughter and will remain so" Mrs Rotimi said

" Not anymore,from today upward I seize to be her father. Tell her that when she wakes up"Mr Rotimi said and started walking out of the hospital,his wife ran after him and knelt on the floor begging him but he didn't answer,he tried walking away but his wife stopped him by holding his two legs

"You better let my legs go before I seize being your husband!" Mr Rotimi said and Mrs Rotimi let his legs go immediately,Mr Rotimi left the hospital. Mrs Rotimi stood up immediately and went to meet Jide

"Look at what you did to my family! You evil man! I curse you!" Mrs Rotimi shouted and Aunt Victoria got really annoyed

" Are you forgetting his mother is here with him? How dare you curse my son like that in my presence! I have been trying to keep it cool but I can't anymore..."Jide cut his mom short

" Mom!"Jide said and Aunt Victoria shot him an evil look

" If you don't let me talk Jide! If you interrupt me again!"Aunt Victoria said and Jide shut his mouth up immediately,he knew his mom is seriously angry and he doesn't want to get her angry the more

"You are here busy running your mouth and insulting my son! Did my son force your daughter to open her legs for him? It was a mutual agreement between the both of them,your daughter have so many fault like my son did. Moreni could have handled this in another way but she decided to kill her sister,how's that my son's fault? Ehhh?!"Aunt Victoria said angrily. Raphael went closer to her hugging her

"It's okay aunty,I should take you home" Raphael said and Aunt Victoria sniffed and started crying

" It hurts so much,she was busy insulting and cursing my boy" Aunt Victoria said

" It's okay let's go"Raphael said and look at Rose who stood up,she have went to Kike's room to check her. It seems as if she was sleeping, as if she's not in the verge of death. Raphael look at Mrs Rotimi and she took her eyes away immediately heading to Kike's room without talking. Raphael smiled at Jide before he took Aunt Victoria out of the hospital,Rose followed Raphael out of the hospital too after waving Jide good bye. As soon as they were out of sight Jide entered Kike's room and met Mrs Rotimi slowly patting her hair while crying,Mrs Rotimi turn to see Jide and frowned immediately,she stood up immediately leaving the room

Jide went closer to Kike sitting down on the chair beside her bed,he took her left hand and sniffed

"I miss you so much Kike,I know it might sound funny to you" Jide said sniffing " we lost our baby,I have been dreaming about how our baby is going to look like but sadly we lost it. I don't care about that right now,all I care about is you. Please wake up,don't do this to me. It hurts so bad to see you laying on this bed like this"Jide said and couldn't control his tears any longer,he started crying " I...I... Miss you so much..... And ... And I love you,I don't care about what others says but I want you to know I love you"Jide said and stood up leaving the room. He took his car leaving the hospital,he is so heartbroken and doesn't even know how to go about it.

Moreni was pushed inside the cell,the policemen locked the cell on her and walk away,she broke down on the floor and started crying,she don't know it would have turned out like this. This wasn't what she was expecting,she wasn't thinking straight when she did what she did,she should have poisoned Kike in a less suspicious manner. She cried thinking about how she's going to loose her job,how her parents must have find out what she did and how she doesn't know how long she's going to spend in the prison

The cell next to her suddenly opened and she looks up to see Stella pushed inside that cell too,she smiled happily. She knows if Stella is close to her she's going strangle her to death

"If I ever get out of here, I swear I'm going to kill you!"Moreni said and Stella chuckled

" Thank God you said if you ever get out of here,my dear friend you're not going to get out of here and if you ever do by that time you're already old. See Moreni,I have already accepted my punishment. You should too,you have to learn"Stella replied smirking

" You better shut up! Shut up that trash you call a mouth"Moreni said and Stella laughed

" How come you're this evil? With all your so pretending over nice attitude,I thought you were human but I thought wrong"Stella said and sat on the floor

" You should be scared Stella" Moreni threatened and Stella laughed

" I'm so scared,don't worry"Stella teased and lay on the floor closing her eyes.

A month later

"Have you eaten?" Raphael asked on the phone

"Yes"Jide replied

" Rose wanted to bring some food to you" Raphael said

"Tell her she's such a sweetheart"Jide said and Raphael chuckled

" Are you going to Moreni's court hearing today?" Raphael asked

" No, I'm heading to the hospital" Jide says

"You should make time for yourself and your work too,it looks like you live in the hospital now"Raphael said and Jide chuckled

" I have to be there when Kike wakes up,the doctor said her health is very stable right now and she might wake up at anytime soon"Jide said

" Okay lover boy,I will come check up on you later when I close from work"Raphael said and Jide smiled

" Thank you so much Raphael,thanks for all your support" Jide said and Raphael smiled

" Your mom called me today, she will be traveling to Abuja soon" Raphael said

" I haven't talk to her for the past three days now,what's she doing in Abuja?"Jide asked

" Monica's baby naming ceremony, the big boy"Raphael said and Jide chuckled. His cousin sister Monica who is also Raphael's elder sister got married two weeks ago and gave birth to her baby on her wedding day when she was exchanging vows with her husband "my mom already told me the name of the boy"

"What's his name?" Jide asked

" David,heard the boy looks like Monica"Raphael said

" Wait! Don't tell me the boy have those big eyes that runs in you and your siblings, Monica's first born Daniel have those eyes too"Jide said and Raphael bursted into laughter

" Mom said he took his father's eyes. Stop being jealous of our big eyes,it looks beautiful on us"Raphael said and Jide shakes his head

" Bye bye" he said ending the call. He took his car key leaving the house going straight to the hospital,he went inside Kike's room and as usual Kike is laying on the bed like she's sleeping

"Sleeping beauty" Jide murmured and sat beside her holding her hands "your mom isn't here because she went for Moreni's first trial, funny enough if our wedding wasn't cancelled we would have gotten married this coming weekend"Jide said and sniffed " I said I'm missing you so much but it seems you think I'm joking. I swear to you I'm not joking,I'm tired of seeing your expressionless face,I want to see you smile,I want to see you laugh,talk. Damn! I want to see you angry, anything for you to get up on your feet. This past one month have been hell for me I'm slowly loosing myself here and I'm not okay with it at all,I'm not okay with you laying on this hospital bed looking lifeless,I'm slowly loosing myself. Please wake up,please just wake up!"Jide said and laid his head on top of Kike's bed. He kept on crying tired of all this, for the past one month he haven't had enough time for himself,all he thinks about is Kike and how she's going to wake up. The doctor have told him that the poison have done terrible things to her,that is only because she have a strong immune system and her body fighting for her is what kept her breathing.

"Please wake up! Pity me already,I think this punishment is enough,just pity me" Jide muttered " think about your mom that's constantly coming to Lagos to check up on you for the past one month,think about Rose,she's always crying. Think about Raphael please,we are all not complete without you"Jide muttered and continue crying,he is tired and he knows well about that. Slowly sleep took him and he slept beside Kike

Jide's sleep was deep and he is busy dreaming about Kike, dreaming about Kike have been something constant on his life now. He dreamt about her sitting on the river bank laughing and having fun,Jide felt himself smile seeing how happy the way she is

"Jide!" Kike called him and he smiled going closer to her " Jide! Jide! Jide!"Kike kept on calling him and slowly he started loosing the sight of Kike

"Jide!" This time around Jide heard Kike called him for real not in the dream,he doesn't want to believe it,he doesn't want to start hallucinating again,then suddenly he felt Kike's hand on his hair slowly massaging it,Jide stood up immediately

"Kike!" He shouted and saw Kike's eyes open for the first time in a month,she look tired and drained "Kike!" This time Jide shouted happily "how are you feeling? I should call the doctor right away!"

" I'm feeling okay,why didn't you shave your beards? Why is your hair like this,you look homeless"Kike said with a smile on her face

" I'm homeless without you my love" Jide said and Kike smiled

"How long have I been out?"Kike asked

" A month"Jide replied scratching the back of his head, Kike's eyes went wide

" It felt like yesterday,how about my baby?"Kike asked clutching her stomach

" I'm sorry,we lost the baby" Jide replied holding Kike's hand,Kike pulled her hands away and started crying shaking profusely. Jide got scared and ran out calling the doctor

"Doctor! Doctor!!"
