One thing Moreni failed to know is Stella is a very smart lady, though Stella gets scared easily but she's very smart

"I will go inside and get dressed" Stella said and Moreni eyes were on her ringing phone "won't you pick it?" Stella asked

"I should" Moreni said absentmindedly. Stella nodded entering her room. Moreni watched her ringing phone and sighed before picking it

"Where are you?!" He heard Jide's voice immediately she picked the call

"I went out,what's wrong?" Moreni replied nonchalantly hoping her voice sounds carefree

"Kike is in the hospital" Jide said

"What?! What happened?!" Moreni asked feigning ignorance

"Seems she's poisoned. You should come over immediately,I called your mom" Jide said and Moreni's mind fled at hearing Jide said he called his mom

"I will be there soon" Moreni replied dejectedly and the call came to an end,Moreni stood up and sighed wiping the remnants of the tears in her eyes

"Stella" she called. Stella came to the sitting room this time around clad on a black jogger and a t-shirt "I will be going to the hospital and I'm going to pretend as if I knew nothing about what's going on,if you try anything funny know you're coming down with me"Moreni said and Stella nodded acting scared "Good!" Moreni said picking her purse,she put her phone inside leaving the house.

Immediately she left Stella breath out a breathe of relief,she went inside her room taking her phone immediately while her hands shakes vigorously. She went through her contact list and was happy that she still have Jide's contact. She have saved his contact once when she went out on a date with Jide and Moreni,when they were so in love with each other. She dialled Jide's contact immediately and waited for him to pick the call but he wasn't,she kept on calling him hoping he will pick the call before Moreni reaches the hospital, awhile later when she's almost giving up Jide picked the call

"Hello" she heard Jide's voice and she breathes out a sigh of relief

Jide hugged his mom immediately he set his eyes on her

"What happened Jide? I got so scared please talk to me" Aunt Victoria said

" Mom it's a long story and please don't shout when I talk" Jide said and Aunt Victoria nodded " Morenikeji's younger sister was poisoned in the house, she's currently inside the hospital battling for her life"

" What?! Who poisoned her?! How?"Aunt Victoria asked getting scared

" I think it's Morenikeji,I'm not sure" Jide said and Aunt Victoria gave him a confusing look

" How can you say that to your wife to be"Aunt Victoria said and Jide sighed

" She's not my wife mom! I'm calling off the wedding when everything is over"Jide said

" What happened?"Aunt Victoria asked

" Moreni is not an ideal woman mom, she's not who I thought she is and apart from that I got Kike pregnant and I'm sure she got to know about it and decided to have her revenge through this"Jide says

" Who is Kike?"Aunt Victoria asked

" Morenikeji's younger sister" Jide replied waiting for his mother to shout or insult him but he was met with silence

"When did you start following women?" Aunt Victoria asked quietly

" I love her mom but that's not the situation at the moment,I need your support and I just pray she survives this,I don't care if she looses the pregnancy I just want her back on her feet"Jide said and his mom hugs him

" You have a lot of explanation to do later but right now let's focus on the situation before us"Aunt Victoria said and Jide nodded

" I have been calling Moreni and she's not picking my calls,I called her mom and informed her about the current situation. She said she's coming to Lagos right away"Jide said and Aunt Victoria nodded

" Don't worry, nothing will happen to the girl" Aunt Victoria said and Jide nodded fighting the threatening tears back. He don't know what he will do if anything happens to Kike,he don't think he can fall in love with anyone again or even get married if anything happens to Kike,if he doesn't marry Kike he will definitely not marry anyone else.

"Have the doctor tell you anything" Aunt Victoria suddenly asked

"No,they haven't come out"Jide replied and Aunt Victoria nodded,Jide turn to see Rose and smiled. He saw her praying and he is so grateful that Kike have a true friend like he have Raphael. Jide went to sit down and sighed,he dig his hand inside his pocket and pull out his phone. Surprisedly he met several missed calls from a strange number,his phone was in silent. He attempted calling the strange number when that same number's call entered in,he picked the call

"Hello" Jide said after picking the call

"Jide!" He heard the person say seeming relief for him picking the call

"Who's this?" Jide asked

"It's me Stella, Moreni's friend" the caller said and Jide immediately clicked who the voice belongs to

"Okay" Jide replied speechless,he doesn't know or understands why Stella is calling him

"Is Moreni there?" Stella asked

"No" Jide replied

"Before I say anything I'm so sorry Jide,I was so blinded by Moreni that I don't know she's a psychopath"Stella said and sniffed trying to control her tears

" What.... What what happened?" Jide asked sounding worried

" It's about Kike,I'm sure you find her already. Hope she's not dead?" Stella said and Jide's eyes went wide,it seems his suspicious is coming to reality

"Yes yes.... She's in the hospital,how do you know about it? What happened? Please talk to me!"Jide said sounding worried

" It's Moreni that poisoned her, she told me about how she find out Kike is pregnant for you without you knowing about it,she was so devasted and afraid of you ending your wedding with her so she seek for my advice and I told her about a whitish substance that can terminate pregnancy when taken in a little quantity but She poured everything on Kike's food to kill her,she just left my place saying she coming to the hospital and have promised if the police men catches her she will call me as an accomplice. I want to turn myself in first,that's why I'm letting you know"Stella said and started crying,she can't believe how her perfect life resulted to this. She knows Moreni will surely be caught, she's not smart and she knows if she's caught they will catch her too and that will be worst. She's looking for anything that can lessen her punishment

"I can't believe all this! How can Moreni poison her own sister? The only sibling she has!"Jide said and sighed " I'm not angry with you Stella and I appreciate the fact you decided to turn yourself in,it shows there's still an atom of goodness in you"

" Thank you,she should be in the hospital any moment from now"Stella said wiping her tears " I will be going to the police station"

"No don't,I will handle this. You made the case more easier,I will make sure Moreni gets punished and I will try to make them reduce your punishment"Jide said

" Thank you so much Jide,I know I don't deserve this. You're a good man" Stella said and Jide saw Moreni entering the hospital

"We will talk later" Jide said and ended the call. He kept his phone back on his jeans pocket.

" Jide! Jide! What did you say that happened?!" Moreni said crying,Jide watched her silently. He wondered how she could pretend this much

"Kike was poisoned" Jide replied and Moreni covered her mouth up immediately

"How?! How did that happened!" Moreni said crying terribly, jumping and acting dramatically in the hospital

"I don't know! It seems is the food you prepared"Jide said and Moreni stopped her acting momentarily

"I don't understand, when I finished cooking. We were both eating in the dinning room when Stella called and told me she slipped in the bathroom and there's no one there to help her,I have to rush over to her place. That's why I couldn't pick your call and surprisedly now you're telling me about Kike being poisoned,I don't understand"Moreni said and Jide nodded trying to absorb her lies

" We should just pray she survives" Jide said and Moreni nodded

" I hope so"Moreni said and her eyes landed on Jide's mom. She went over to her side acting sweetly immediately

"Mummy! I didn't know you're here,thank you for coming"Moreni said and Aunt Victoria nodded,she kept on trying to process what Jide told her,she's too tired to talk. Moreni turn and her eyes landed on Rose who is sitting on the floor, they're eyes met

"Good afternoon" Rose greeted

"Good afternoon, do I know you?" Moreni asked

"I'm Kike's friend"Rose replied and Moreni nodded. They suddenly heard steps and saw Raphael coming inside the hospital,Rose stood up immediately and went to meet him, Raphael held her closer kissing her

"Raphael" Moreni said and Raphael gave her a fake smile

" How are you holding up?"Raphael asked

"I'm trying" Moreni replied and Raphael nodded. Moreni look around and noticed that Jide have left the place "excuse me" she said and left the midst of them and went after Jide

"Okay,no problem. Thank you" she heard Jide said on his phone,she saw him putting his phone on his pocket

"Jide!" She called,Jide turn around when he heard his name. He opened his mouth to talk but was interrupted by Rose

"The doctor is here" Rose said and Jide ran back in to meet the doctor,Moreni felt sad the way Jide reacted but she keep on her act

"What happened doctor?! Please talk to me!" Jide said sounding very desperate

" She was poisoned" the doctor said and Jide nodded his head trying to control his tears "we found out she was pregnant,sadly she lost the baby. She's a strong woman and her body is pretty fighting for her. She's in coma now, hopefully her body fights the more and she wakes up. The poison almost spread across her body,thank God you bring her earlier"the doctor said and Moreni wasn't pleased with the news. She wanted to hear we are sorry,we lost her

"Okay doctor,thank you so much" Jide said and Rose fell on the floor and started crying tears of relief she's so happy Kike isn't dead. Raphael knelt beside her and started patting her,aunt Victoria started praising God. Moreni looked around and saw the reaction on everyone,she pretended too and started crying faking relief

"My baby! Morenikeji!" Moreni suddenly heard her mom's name and turn quickly,she was surprised at how fast she entered Lagos,her heart skipped a bit when she saw her father beside her

"Mummy! daddy!" Moreni shouted and went to hug her mom

"What happened to my baby?! What happened to my Kike?! Please tell me she's okay"Mrs Rotimi said and started crying

" She's...."Moreni was interrupted

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. You're under arrest ma'am"Moreni turn to see the police men and her heart started beating erratically,it got worse when she saw Stella hand cuffed beside them

"Arrest who?" Mrs Rotimi asked looking around

"Rotimi Morenikeji Agape,for poisoning her sister and her unborn baby,for attempted murder"one of the policemen said

" Poisoning her sister?" Mr Rotimi asked looking at his wife, the police man went furthered handcuffing Moreni's hand

"You can't do this to me! You can't! Stella how dare you?! I swear I'm going to kill you" Moreni started shouting and cursing

" You should be careful of what you say because your words will be used against you in the court of law"another police man said and they started dragging Moreni with them,Mrs Rotimi tried holding Moreni but her husband have to stop her

"Mummy! Daddy! Jide! Jide! Please don't let them take me away!"Moreni kept on shouting as she was dragged to the police van
