Jide left Raphael's place and head to cold stone,he decided to buy ice cream for Kike, anything to make her feel okay. He entered cold stone and he doesn't know which flavour Kike likes. He decided to buy all the available flavour,he thought about how he never took Kike out on a date,he decided that when all the problems have been solved and he is finally with Kike,he will take her out on a date and learn more about her. He entered his car and saw all the ice cream he bought and smiled childishly,he knows Kike is going to be surprised about this.

He entered his car and headed home hopefully Kike and Moreni is back from their shopping,he parked his car in front of the house and came down taking all the ice cream he bought,he knocked on the door and no one answered,he took his personal key and opened the door entering the house. The house is so quiet and he wondered if they aren't back yet,he got sad because he wanted to give those Ice cream to Kike eagerly. He headed to the kitchen dropping them on the fridge, he was heading to his room when he started hearing sounds but not loud enough to cause suspicion. He got curious and left his room following the sound,it led him to the dining room and he was surprised to see Kike on the floor shaking fervently obviously fighting for her life.

She was covered with blood and there's a whitish thing forming out of her mouth

"Kike! No! No! No! Kike!" Jide shouted getting so scared,he had never been so scared in his life like the way he is at the moment. He went closer to her immediately picking her up "what happened?! Please Kike please don't die! Don't do this to me!"Jide said and started crying profusely,he carried her inside his car and ride out of the house immediately heading to the hospital,he kept on crying and praying Kike doesn't die.

As soon as he reached the hospital,he carried her rushing inside the hospital "Doctor! Doctor! Somebody help me please! Somebody help me please!"he kept on shouting,the nurses rushed over to him immediately bringing a stretcher,they put Kike inside and rushed her in asking Jide to stay behind.

Jide fell on the floor and started crying,he didn't mind people were there watching him,he ding his hand inside his trouser and pull out his phone,he dialled Moreni's contact three times but she didn't pick,he decided to call Raphael

"What's up bro?" Raphael said as soon as he picked the call

" Raphael I'm dead! I went back home and met Kike bleeding and forming out whitish substance from her mouth,no one was at home"Jide said in between his tears

" Oh my God! Where is she?" Raphael asked sounding very worried

" I'm at the hospital right now, Raphael I need someone here please call my mom for me, I want her here with me"Jide said

" Okay,I will be there immediately send the details of the hospital to me"Raphael said and Jide ended the call sending the hospital address to Raphael. Jide kept on spacing around, hitting the wall and crying. He prayed nothing happens to Kike.

"What's it? You don't look so good" Rose said as she entered Raphael's room

" Kike is in the hospital"Raphael said and the glass cup Rose is holding fell from her hand breaking into pieces

"What?! What do you mean by that?" Rose asked getting scared

" The way Jide explained,it seems like she's poisoned"Raphael said and Rose covered her mouth with her hands and started crying

"Oh no! No! No! I have to go there, I have to be in the hospital right away!"Rose said crying

" I have to call my aunt first,Jide asked me to call his mom" Raphael said and started dialling aunt Victoria's contact,Rose rushed over to take her phone and wear her shoes. They left the house asking the twins to take care of them selves

Rose cried throughout the ride to the hospital,she kept on praying while Raphael could hardly control his sanity,he had to try his best so that they won't end up getting an accident, slowly the hospital came into view and Raphael parked his car in the parking lot,they rushed inside the hospital immediately and met Jide in the floor crying.

"Jide!" Raphael said running over to meet him

"Raphael pray for me! Pray for me please,I hope nothing happens to Kike"Jide said crying,he didn't even mind he is a man,he had never felt so heartbroken in his life before

"Nothing will happen to her, don't worry she will be fine" Raphael said and Rose knelt beside them crying too

"What happened? How did she got poisoned,we talked on phone few hours ago. Where's her sister?"Rose asked in the midst of the tears

" I don't know what happened,I just met her in the dining room laying on the floor bleeding and forming out a whitish substance from her mouth,I have been calling Moreni but she isn't picking up my calls"Jide said and Rose shook her head getting more scared

"I called your mom,she said she will be here soon" Raphael said and Jide nodded placing his head on the wall " is there anyone in the house?"

"No" Jide replied

"I will go over to your place, I have to investigate what happened"Raphael said and Jide nodded,he feels too tired to talk "I will be back my love" Raphael told Rose who only nodded too. Raphael stood up and head out of the hospital heading to Jide's house.

He parked his car in the front of the compound and went inside,he met that in the midst of chaos Jide forget to close his main door, Raphael went inside and head to the dining room he saw two plates of rice in the dining table and blood on the floor. He knew immediately Kike was poisoned in the house and obviously the person left when the poison started working, Raphael took his phone dialling Jide's contact immediately

"Hello" Raphael said when Jide picked the call

" Hello"comes Jide's dull voice

" Kike was poisoned in the house,I saw two plates of rice in the dining room and obviously one of them is poisoned. Seems like the person that poisoned her left when it started working"Raphael said and Jide wiped his tears immediately sitting up

"There's no one else with Kike but Moreni, check the kitchen if the food was prepared in the house"Jide said and Raphael made his way to the kitchen,he checked the pot and met that the food was prepared in the kitchen

"The food was prepared in your house" Raphael said

"Moreni!" Jide shouted angrily " that's why I have been calling her and she's not picking"

"What do you mean?"Raphael asked

" Kike have been with Moreni since morning and if Kike was poisoned Moreni is the number one suspect"Jide said

" I know things aren't lovey dovey between you and Moreni but suggesting she poisoned her sister is strong, she's a good woman I don't think she can do such"Raphael said and Jide sighed

" You really have faith on Moreni huh? Someone who terminate a pregnancy over six months because of a man"Jide said angrily

" What! What did you just say?"Raphael asked sounding surprised

"You know let's close that chapter for now,I'm involving the police"Jide said

" I think that will be better,is aunt Victoria there?" Raphael asked

"Yes,she came awhile ago"Jide replied

" Okay"

" Stella! Stella! I'm so scared!"Moreni shouted opening the door to Stella's apartment,she sat down on the floor and started crying

"What is it?" She heard Stella's voice from the room, Stella came outside only clad on a robe and Moreni suggested she might just be coming out of the bathroom

"Stella I'm in trouble,I wasn't thinking when I did that" Moreni said and Stella got scared immediately,she went closer to her kneeling beside her

"What is it? What happened?!" Stella asked

"The poison you gave me" Moreni said hiccuping

"Yes!" Stella said impatiently

"When I wanted to put it in Kike's food,I got so angry and poured everything inside"Moreni said and Stella's eyes widen

" What did you just say?! What did you just say Moreni?! How can you poison your sister when you know she's going to die, even the suggestion I brought I wasn't still okay with it and now you went ahead and poison your sister. What kind of human being are you!"Stella shouted taking a step away from Moreni. She got so scared and she knew if the police catches Moreni they will catch her too and she can't afford that,she's the only one taking care of her family and if the police catches her she can loose her job "get out of my house!" Stella shouted

"You can't tell me to get out now,we need to look for solution for this. I can't afford to loose Jide"Moreni said and Stella got stunned watching Moreni

"You're so obsessed with this guy! You're not even scared about your sister dying! All you care about is your marriage to Jide,what kind of human being are you!"Stella shouted,their attention was suddenly taking by Moreni's ringing phone, Moreni pull the phone out of her purse and her hands covered her mouth immediately

"Jide is calling me! Jide is calling me! He must have found Kike's body,I can't pick this call"Moreni said shaking her head crying terribly

"You should pick it" Stella said looking obviously scared,she regret giving Moreni the advise. If she knew things will turn out like this she wouldn't have gotten herself involved

"I'm not picking it!" Moreni shouted and dropped her phone chuckling maniacally "you're going to help me" she said to Stella

" Are you dreaming or what?! Help you do what?! I'm not getting involved in this any longer"Stella said taking few steps away from Moreni

" If you don't then we are going down together,we are taking the fall together!"Moreni said and Stella's eyes widen

" What do you mean by that?" Stella asked looking obviously scared

" If the police catches me,I'm making a statement that you're an accomplice"Moreni said and Stella started crying

" You're threatening me?! Moreni you're threatening me?! I never knew you're a psychopath,no wonder Jide decided to find happiness from your younger sister!"Stella said and Moreni stand up giving Stella a dirty slap

" You better control your mouth and pray for Kike to die so that no one will have a statement against me,if not we are going down together"Moreni said and Stella fell down on the floor and started crying

" What do you want me to do?" Stella asked and Moreni chuckled quietly

" Now you're talking my good friend" Moreni said chuckling while Stella cried silently,she can't believe what she just landed herself into
