Kike have been in her room throughout the night,she felt so drain and don't even know what to do,she switched her phone on and immediately Rose call came in

"Kike! How are you?! I got your message but your phone was switched off throughout the day,you got me scared"Rose said and Kike sighed trying to fight back the tears threatening to fall from her eyes

"I didn't do it" Kike said and there was a long pause " I couldn't do it,when the doctor came closer I got scared,I got scared for my baby and there's this aura of protectiveness that entered me and I have to make for the run"Kike said sniffing,she heard Rose sigh

" You will be fine my dear, everything is just time. It only gets better"Rose said and Kike look up at the ceiling

" I hope so"Kike muttered but Rose heard

"Are you coming to school tomorrow?" Rose asked

" Yes,I got nothing to do at home"Kike replied

" Okay then,I will see you tomorrow"Rose said and the call came to an end. Kike was dropping her phone when her phone started ringing again,it was Favour this time around. She didn't want to pick it but decided against it later

"Hello" Kike heard Favour's voice and started crying again. What have she done? What have she done to herself and Favour!

"Hi" comes Kike's tiny voice

"Why will you break up with me like that? Why?" Favour asked and Kike sighed

" Let's talk tomorrow,okay? I will come over to your place" Kike said and was met with silence

" Okay then"Favour finally replied and the call came to an end. Kike stood up from her bed and went to the bathroom to have a cool shower before retiring for the night.

Moreni couldn't sleep,she kept on tossing and tossing throughout the night. She wanted to talk,she wanted to ask Jide how he ended up impregnating Kike while he have refused to sleep with her for over three months now but she couldn't do any of that. She cried throughout the night sleep totally denying her. She stood up from the bed after checking the time. It's 5:46am. She  went inside the bathroom and had a shower coming back to the room to dress up,she saw Jide still sleeping and contemplated waking him up and asking him what happened but she have to keep her cool,she have to wait and see Stella first before deciding on what to do. She left the room and went to the kitchen preparing herself tea and bread,she sat in the stool in the kitchen taking her breakfast. By the time she was done it's 6:38am. She went back inside the room to take her bag before heading to work,she met that Jide is already awake

"Good morning" Moreni greeted monotonously

"Morning"Jide's voice sounded worse. Moreni had expected Jide to notice the change in her mood but he didn't and that in its self is alarming. She took her bag and left the house before she breaks down and maybe saying things she shouldn't have.

Kike woke up exactly 8:00am she had difficulty in sleeping the previous night and all the fatigue weigh down together,she yawned and went to her bathroom performing her morning rituals. She left the bathroom heading to the kitchen and met Jide frying egg

"Good morning" Kike greeted. Jide turn to see her smiling

"Sit. I'm preparing breakfast for you" Jide said and Kike nodded sitting down. Jide placed the fried egg,tea and bread before her,she gave him a grateful smile before she started eating.

"Thank you" Jide suddenly said startling Kike

"What are you thanking me for?" Kike asked

"For not going through it"Jide said and Kike sighed

" Yet!"Kike said emphasising on the yet

"I know"Jide said holding Kike's hands. He kissed them and Kike sighed,he kissed her forehead "I don't know I'm just falling in love with you the more"Jide murmured

" You shouldn't,you shouldn't say something like that"Kike said and Jide cupped her face

" I am being honest" Jide said

"I know but we shouldn't do this anymore"Kike said and Jide kissed her,she opened her mouth and kissed him too

" You say something different but your body says different" Jide said and Kike step away from him

" I'm leaving"Kike said leaving the kitchen,Jide sighed hitting the wall

Moreni couldn't control her emotion anymore and bursted into tears crying her eyes out when the door to her office opened, Stella went inside and went closer to Moreni

"It's okay my dear. It's okay" Stella says

"It's not okay! It's not okay at all. I regret bringing that girl to my house,I should have let her stay in the school hostel!"Moreni shouted and Stella patted her back " I can't believe how all this started without me getting know about it,I wasn't even aware of it at all and this happened in thesame roof I'm sleeping in"

" I'm surprised seriously,the way you talk about Jide I can't imagine him sleeping with your sister,a twenty years old girl at that"Stella said

" I can't believe it to. I can't believe my sister is the reason why Jide is giving me attitude,she's the reason why he stopped loving me!"Moreni said and started crying again

" Any plan yet on what you want to do?" Stella asked and Moreni wiped her tears

" I have no plan yet but whatever I do,I must make sure that I don't tick Jide off. Now that he's in love with her,any little thing can make him call the wedding off"Moreni said

" You're right,but you know your sister can't keep that pregnancy too. She have to get rid of it"Stella says

" It doesn't even seem like she wants to get rid of it" Moreni replied

"That's a big problem,what about telling your parents?"Stella asked

" I can't do that! My father will definitely call the wedding off and I can't allow that to happen,Jide is my life. He is everything to me and I can't even imagine my life without him in it"Moreni said and Stella sighed

" I have an idea" Stella said

"What's it?" Moreni asked.

"Well I don't think it's the best idea but I don't know,let me just tell you. There's this strong powder I know of,if you put little in a food and someone eat it,it will terminate pregnancy if the person is pregnant but if it's much the person will die"Stella says

" What are you suggesting?"Moreni asked giving her full attention

" What I'm saying is that I can get the powder for you and you will put small in Kike's food and that will terminate the pregnancy,very small if not it might poison her too. Then when she successfully terminate the pregnancy you can ask her to leave the house"

" That's a great idea. Please how can I get the powder? I want to do this as soon as possible"Moreni said

" Don't worry, I will get it for you this weekend"Stella said and Moreni smiled hugging Stella

" You're a life saver you know?" Moreni said and Stella chuckled.

Kike was done with lecture and sighed when the lecturer left the class

"You look very tired" Rose said

"You can say that again,I have to meet up with Favour" Kike says

" Why?"Rose asked

" Well,I broke up with him and he isn't taking it well. I think it's better we talk physically"Kike replied

" Are you sure about this?"Rose asked

"I'm very sure Rose,I'm sixty percent sure I won't be aborting this baby and I can't do this to Favour anymore,he is a good person and deserved better"Kike said and Rose hold her right hand squeezing a little

" It will all get better" Rose says

"I hope so" Kike said before standing up leaving the class. She called Favour when she left the class

"Are you at home? I'm coming over" Kike said when Favour picked the phone up

" Yes,I have been waiting for you" Favour replied

" Okay"Kike said ending the call,she sniff in deeply before stopping a cab that took her to Favour's apartment. She came down from the cab making sure to pay before heading over to Favour's apartment,she knocked on the door and Favour came to open the door for her,she went inside.

"How are you doing?" Kike asked sitting down

" You know the answer to that"Favour replied and Kike sighed

" I'm sorry Favour, you don't deserve any of this, you have always been good to me"Kike said and Favour sniffed a tear escaping his eyes

" What happened to us? Huh! I remember how you're always eager to tell me how your day went and all. We were so close and then you came to school and everything change"Favour said and Kike started crying " what did I do?! Tell me please! I'm going crazy and I can't understand anything,it feels like it's not thesame person I know anymore. You seem so different!"

" I cheated on you! I have been cheating on you!"Kike shouted and broke into louder cries " I haven't been truthful to you and before you think all this is your fault but it isn't it's mine. You are so good to me so damn good to me and I don't know,I started wanting someone else. I slept with him twice"

" I don't care Kike! I fucking don't care,why are you breaking up with me?!"Favour asked and started crying, Kike can see the raw pain emitting from him and that makes her feel guilty the more

" I kissed him too today" Kike said

" Why are you telling me this?"Favor asked and sniffed

"We can't keep on doing this, I know I'm a bad person and I know everything you have done for me but I can't keep this up. I can't do this anymore"Kike said shaking her head fervently

" Don't break up with me please!"Favour begged while Kike started hiccupping while crying

"I can't Favour,I'm sorry." Kike said and went for the door, Favour stopped her holding her back

"Please Kike, anything you want but please don't break up with me" Favour cried and Kike nodded no

" I'm pregnant Favour,I'm sorry I can't do this" Kike said

"You're pregnant? I don't care!"Favour shouted.

" You should care! You should care about that!" Kike shouted too " I'm sorry for all the delusion I made you had but this it,we are ending this now"

"Let's keep being friends then. Like the way we were before all this, before everything started"Favour plead

" I'm sorry,I can't do that too. My guilty conscience can't let that happen. I don't want to see you again"Kike said and cupped Favour's face " you should know you're a good person,you're way better than lots of people I have met but I'm sorry. I'm not what you need in your life,keep being friends with you will only kill me. You have to let me go now please"Kike said quietly

" There's nothing I can say to change your mind?"Favour asked

" No, there's nothing you can say to change my mind" Kike said and Favour sighed wiping his tears away

"You know you will always be my number one,if you ever change your mind don't hesitate to let me know"Favour said and Kike nodded. He cupped Kike's face and pull her in for a kiss,Kike let him Kiss her.

"I will be on my way" Kike said when the kiss ended

"Okay" Favour said and Kike watched him for the last time before opening the door leaving the house,she wiped her tears away looking for a cab to take her back home.
