"Kike! Kike!" She heard her mom call her name,Kike just finished vomiting her breakfast in the bathroom,she wiped her mouth and joined her mother in the kitchen

"Where were you since?" Mrs Rotimi asked

" I was using the bathroom"Kike replied

" Anyways your sister talked about sending some items to her,she said she needs it immediately. Since you're resuming school this coming Monday,I see no reason you can't go back to Lagos tomorrow and give her those things"Mrs Rotimi said and Kike's heart jumped to her throat, she's dreading the moment to see Jide. She don't know how she's going to break the news to him,she don't know how he is going to react too,oh God! She doesn't even want to know how her sister will react when she finds out too

"Kike! Are you even listening to me?" Mrs Rotimi shouts

"Yes mummy,I heard you"Kike replied " can I go inside my room,I'm having slight headache"

"I have been watching you for days now,you look pale and sick. Hope you're not pregnant?"Mrs Rotimi asked narrowing her eyes at Kike

" Me no o! I'm not pregnant!" Kike quickly replied,her mom shook her head and shoo her away with her hand. Kike went back to her room,she made sure she locked the door before slumping on her bed, her phone started ringing. She turn taking her phone and met it's Rose. After the last time she talked to her,letting her know she's pregnant and Rose advising her to let Jide know about it before taking any decisions had made Kike to stop taking her calls,she had decided to abort the pregnancy without anyone knowing about it. Her phone kept on ringing and she suddenly decided to take the call

"Hello" she said after picking up the call

"I thought you will never talk to me again,don't tell me you have terminated the pregnancy already"Rose said and Kike sighed

" I haven't if not my mom will notice,she's already suspecting me to be pregnant already"Kike say sounding tired

" Have you talk to Jide about it,he is the father you know and he has all right to know about it first before you take any decision"Rose said and Kike sighed rubbing her temples

" You told me this the last time we talked" Kike says

"That's why you stopped picking my calls,you know I'm right Kike,Jide is supposed to know about his child"Rose says

" Stop calling it his child!"Kike shouted

" Then it's whose?"Rose asked and Kike sighed

" Well I'm coming back to Lagos tomorrow" Kike says

"That's good, you can start thinking about how you will talk to him about it"Rose says

" I'm scared Rose,I'm so scared about anyone finding out. I don't want to be a reason my sister looses her man"Kike says and there was a long pause

" We will see tomorrow"Rose says

" Okay"Kike replied and the call came to an end. She fell on the floor and started crying,she knows she can't blame anyone for the condition she is in except herself. She brought this upon herself and she have to solve her problem herself too

"Hope my things are safe in the car?" Moreni asked Kike over the phone

" Yes sister"Kike replied

"I will be expecting you soon then,though I'm going over to work now. I will see you in the evening"Moreni says

" Okay"Kike said and the call ended

" Who's that on the phone?"Jide came out of the bathroom asking while combing his hair

"Kike,she's coming back to Lagos today" Moreni replied

"Oh! The holiday is already over?"Jide asked

" Yes, she have some package to bring to me too" Moreni said

"Oh okay" Jide replied and went on with what he was doing. Moreni finished dressing up and took her phone.

"I will be going to work" She says

"Okay, we will see in the evening"Jide replied and Moreni turn to look at him, normally Jide will kiss her wishing her a good day at work and how he is going to miss her throughout the day but that doesn't happen anymore, Moreni took a big step towards him and draw him closer for a kiss, initially Jide didn't kiss back but decided against it kissing her. Moreni smiled before leaving the room,Jide wipe his lips with his palms.

After finish dressing up,he went to the kitchen to prepare spaghetti for himself,he craves for it and also the weather is cool making him feel lazy to head to work. He successfully finished cooking his spaghetti while also working with his laptop,he fetch some of the spaghetti and went to the sitting room eating while still working on his laptop. He suddenly heard a knock on the door and stood up and went to open it,to his surprise it's Kike. He wasn't expecting her ride to be that fast

"Good morning" Kike greeted avoiding his gaze,she went inside the house immediately

" Good morning" Jide greeted back

"Where is my sister?" Kike asked

"She went to work" Jide replied and Kike nodded,she dragged her bag inside her room. She made sure to lock the door behind her and slumped on the floor,her heart started beating erratically. She wondered how she will be able to tell Jide she's pregnant,she thought about it been better going for the abortion without anyone knowing about it,at least that will save them from a lot of drama. She was jolted back to the real world when she heard a knock on the door,she stood up from the floor immediately opening the door

"I prepared spaghetti awhile ago,do you want some?" Jide asked

"No,I'm full" Kike replied looking everywhere but Jide. Jide find the act strange and wondered why Kike is avoiding him like a plague

"I will let you be then,I will be going to work" Jide said and could see Kike heaving a sigh of relief. Jide walked away without another word. He finished his breakfast and washed the plates before leaving the house.

Awhile later Kike came out of her room to check if Jide is still around and luckily for her, Jide is gone. She sighed and took her phone dialling Rose contact.

"Hello" she says after Rose picked the call

"Babe, are you back to Lagos?" Rose asked

"Yes, I'm back. I will be coming over to your place" Kike replied

"No problem,you're free to come. No one is at home except me"Rose replied

" Thank you"Kike said and ended the call. She made sure she locked the door before leaving the house.

Arriving safely at Rose place or well Raphael's house,Kike sighed and sat on the sofa as Rose offered,Rose went inside the kitchen to fetch them the rice she just finished cooking

"Thank you" Kike said as Rose offered her a plate of rice

"I still don't understand Kike,how did your sister's Fiance manage to get you pregnant?"Rose asked

" It's a long story fault mostly on my side" Kike said and tried to control the tears trying to spill from her eyes "I was always attracted to him,right from the first day I saw him but the most foolish thing I ever did is following through my desires,God! I don't know what came over me"Kike says

" It's okay, I know you can't break this to your sister because it might affect their relationship but I strongly suggest before you go for any abortion. You should let the man know"Rose said and Kike sighed

" I'm scared,what if he doesn't accept the abortion"Kike asked

" I don't know, seriously I can't say"Rose said and Kike dropped the plate of rice she's holding

" I have to do this without anyone knowing about it,that way I can safe my sister's marriage and myself too. Imagine my parents finding out,no amount of explanation can make them understand and I have a whole life in front of me,I can't be a mother now. It will destroy everything,try seeing this from my own perspective"Kike says

" You're right to some extent,I'm just scared of something bad happening to you but if you feel that's what best for you then you can go ahead. I just hope there's no complications later"Rose says

" I hope so too. Put me in your prayers seriously,I need it"Kike says and Rose nodded "So our soon to be Mrs,how is that going?" Kike asked changing the topic,Rose chuckled taking the bait.

After several hours of gist and Kike momentarily forgetting about her problem,she decided to call it a day and went back home. She hugged Rose and promised to update her with whatever happens along the way. She entered the house and met no one around,she sighed and went to change her dress to a pyjamas feeling very comfy.

She took her phone and sat on her bed and started browsing about good hospital she can have a successful abortion.

Jide was done for the day and decided to retire home,he came down from his car opening the door with his personal key. He went inside the house making sure to close the door behind him,he thought no one was at home and headed to his room when his steps suddenly slowed down as he heard Kike on the phone

"Yes... I don't know if I can come over maybe tomorrow or next.... No,the pregnancy is not that long. Two months at most"Jide heard and went closer to Kike's door " please promise me I will not have any problems along the way.... I haven't done it before,this is my first time..... Yes.... Okay.... Thank you doctor..."Kike says and Jide got confused,he wasn't even sure of what he is hearing. He knocked on Kike's door. Kike heard the knocking and dropped her phone immediately going for the door,she opened it and saw Jide standing

"Welcome,do you need anything?" Kike asked and Jide got angry,he held Kike's hand pulling her completely out of her room"what's the meaning of this?!"

"Are you pregnant?" Jide asked

"What are you saying?"Kike asked feigning ignorance

"Don't you dare act dumb with me! Are you trying to abort my baby without my consent?"Jide asked and Kike chuckled trying to cover up her fear

"What made you think I'm pregnant? Where did you get that from?" Kike asked

" I listened to all the conversation you made on that your phone,try defending that!"Jide said and Kike opened her mouth to talk but nothing comes out "how can you do this Kike! Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant?! Why will you want to kill my baby without my consent?!"Jide shouted and Kike started crying

" Please don't let my sister find out please!" Kike said crying

"How can you do this to me?!" Jide asked the pain in his voice sounding raw "how can you?!"

"Please don't let anybody find out,please think about me,my sister and my parents. Jide please!"Kike said crying uncontrollable,her fear multiplied thinking about how Jide might take this,she's so scared her sister finding out and cursed herself internally. She should have been careful but no she was stupid sleeping with a man without protection

"Get your hands off me!" Jide said but Kike insisted, trying to see Jide reason with her

"What's going on?!" They suddenly heard Moreni's voice. Jide look up to see Moreni and pulled his hand away from Kike leaving the house

"Kike what's going on? Why are you crying? Somebody should talk to me!"Moreni shouted but Kike couldn't form a word. She's scared to death
