Jide was resting in his office after having a meeting with one of his client, fatigue was pulling him in and he decided to rest for awhile. He suddenly heard is phone vibrating and lazily took it, he met a message from an unknown contact, he was baffled initially but his curiousity was bigger. He opened the message and slowly read it

Stay away from Morenikeji. She's mine and will always be, stop whatever wedding you're planning

Jide didn't understand the message initially,he read it thrice looking confused. He wonder who is threatening him, he still couldn't come to a conclusion and decided to wait until he gets back home and confront Moreni about it

Kike was done with her first paper, she came out of the hall after signing out. She stretched her body and her eyes roaming about looking for Rose. She suddenly saw Rose sitting under a tree near to the exam hall, she walk up to meet her, her steps slow down when she saw tears running down from her eyes

Rose suddenly felt someone's presence and wiped her tears immediately cracking her throat

"What's wrong with you?"Kike asked

"Nothing"Rose replied faking a smile

"You're a bad liar Rose, so tell me what's wrong with you?"Kike said kneeling beside her and slowly patting her back. Rose bursted into heavy tears,she cried and cried until she couldn't cry again.

"What happened?"Kike asked again after letting her to cry to her heart content

"My sister, she's not responding to the treatment and the doctor asked me to pay a sum of one million seven hundred thousand to operate on her, where am I going to find such money. Tell me Kikelomo,where am I going to find such. I'm tired"Rose says and Kike couldn't say anything. She knows Rose is in so much pain and she don't know how she can help her

"What about your uncles and aunts?"Kike asked

"They all abandoned us. I'm the one taking care of my siblings since we lost our parents"Rose said standing up

"Where are you going to?"Kike asked standing up too

"I'm going to look for money"Rose said

"From where?"Kike asked

"Don't worry"Rose said before walking away leaving Kike to watch her retreating figure. Kike sighed and took her bag heading back home, she made a mental note to call Rose later when she's back to her senses and stable

Jide was done for the day and went back home, to his surprise Moreni was home in the kitchen cooking. He decided to have a shower first before joining her. He took a shower and got dress in a khaki short and a white polo shirt.

He headed to the kitchen where Moreni was busy cooking

"Babe"Moreni said when her eyes landed on Jide

"How are you doing?"Jide asked

"I'm fine"Moreni replied and started serving the spaghetti she was preparing into three plates

"I have something to ask you"Jide said and Moreni halted what she was doing turning to look at Jide

"What's it?"Moreni asked

"I was in the office when an unknown number texted me, the person was threatening me because of you"Jide said

"Because of me?"Moreni asked

"Yes because you!"Jide replied taking his phone out of his pocket, he pressed his message app and touch the message from the strange number giving it to Moreni, Moreni collected his phone and read the message quietly

"I don't understand"Moreni said and Jide frowned slightly angry

"I should be the one saying that, why is someone threatening me?!"Jide asked

"I don't know!"Moreni said bursting into tears. Jide collected his phone from her

"Where is your phone?"Jide asked

"Excuse me?"Moreni replied

"Where is your phone?!"Jide asked a bit louder

"What do you need my phone for?"Moreni asked thesame time Jide's eyes landed on her phone,Moreni traced what he was seeing and it landed on her phone. She made a move to take her phone but Jide beat her to it taking the phone first. He took his phone and typed the strange number in his phone on Moreni's phone, surprising the number was saved with Tim ❤️

"Who is Tim? I thought you said you don't know anything,what's going on!"Jide shouted looking obviously angry

"It's not what you think"Moreni said crying profusely

"I wasn't even thinking anything. I don't just understand what's going on and I don't know I feel like I'm in the dark"Jide said and they suddenly heard the main door open. Jide angrily left the kitchen and met Kike coming back home

"Good afternoon"Kike greeted but Jide ignored her leaving the house and making sure to bang the door on his way out

Kike got scared immediately she have never noticed Jide being that angry to the extent of not replying her greetings, she suddenly heard her sister crying and rush over to where she heard the voice.

Her sister was sitting in the floor in an awkward position crying her lungs out, Kike become very uneasy and knelt beside her sister

"Sister! What's wrong with you? What happened?!"Kike asked looking genuinely concerned

"Help me to beg Jide, please let him not cancel on me. I swear I didn't mean for him to find out like this, oh my God! What am I going to do."Moreni started rambling words Kike don't understand

"What's wrong? What did you do?"Kike asked

"Please go and talk to Jide please, anything you can say to calm him down please"Moreni said scratching her head profusely. She look like someone getting nut. Kike stood up thinking about how she was going to talk to Jide.

She left the kitchen and went outside the house, she met that Jide's car wasn't in the compound anymore. She went back inside and took her phone dialling  his contact. He picked on the fifth ring

"What is it?"Jide said immediately after picking the call killing Kike's confidence

"Where are you?"Kike asked

"Why?"

"I want to see you please"Kike said and heard Jide sighed

"I'm still around the street, come outside the gate I will pick you up"Jide replied

"Okay"Kike said and the call came to an end

The nostalgic smell of an hospital hits Black as soon as she entered the hospital, she greeted the nurse she's familiar with and went to the ward her sister is in. She opened the door and went inside,she met her sister cracking a joke that the twins were busy laughing at

"You shouldn't stress yourself"Black said and Nnenna smiled sadly

"I was only trying to have a memorable ending"Nnenna said and Black frowned immediately

"I told you countless times never to say such! You're going to get better, you're going to be able to breathe normal like everyone"Black said and a tear escaped Nnenna's eyes

"I don't think so sis, I'm getting weaker by the day. Even with the oxygen fixed on me I still get it hard to breathe"Nnenna said and Black wipe her tears away

"It's okay. I don't want to hear any of those, did the doctor ask for me?"Black asked

"Yes. He was here close to thirty minutes ago"Nnenna replied

"Okay. I will go and meet him right away"Black said and Nnenna nod.

Black stood up and went to the doctor's office, she knocked on the door

"Come in"She heard the doctor say. She pushed the door open and went inside the office, she met the doctor going through some files

"Good afternoon doctor"she greeted, the doctor smiled gesturing her to sit down and she did "my sister said you were looking for me"

"Yes, I wanted to talk to you about her condition"The doctor said

"Okay"Black replied getting very scared

"As you well know your sister have a very weak immune system right from birth and also she has a lower respiratory infections"the doctor stopped trying to make sure Black us following what he is saying "the problem is she had never received a property treatment from an hospital and she's very weak, her body is not fighting for her anymore and she have to undergo surgery immediately, it's a fifty fifty percent surgery"

"Fifty fifty? That's scaring!"Black says and the doctor sighed

"If you want your sister to survive you have to start looking for the money any delay is dangerous to her health, within three days you should be able to raise the money"The doctor said and a tear escaped her eyes

"Okay sir"she says sniffing

"You should go and meet the receptionist, she will hand over the bills to you"the doctor said and she nodded leaving the office. She went straight to the receptionist and collected the bills. She covered up her mouth immediately when she was seeing six digits. She put the bill on her jeans trouser and made her way to go and see her sister. She met her sleeping while the twins were sitting on the floor playing

"I won't be staying with you guys this night, I have somewhere to be. Take care of your big sister and when Nnenna wakes up tell her I will becoming back soon"Black told the boys

"Okay!"they chorused

Black left the hospital immediately and took a cab, she was heading to the club. She wanted to see her employer and ask for his help, she couldn't hold it in any longer and started crying inside the cab. The passengers were busy giving her weird look which she didn't care about.

She came down from the cab and rushed inside the club, she went straight to the manager's office without even sparing one of her colleagues a glance. She knocked on the door heaving heavily

"Come in"she heard her manager said and open the door going right inside, she met the manager sitting on his trademark chair and sat down on the chair facing his

"What is it?"The manager asked

"I need your help sir"Black said and her manager frown immediately, she suddenly heard him groan and a lady stood up beneath the chair licking her lips, she can't believe she just watched her manager getting a blow job. The girl is one of her colleagues, she had always heard from Gold that the manager have slept with more than half of the girls in the club. Black took her eyes away from her and focused back on her manager, that wasn't the reason she was here

"My younger sister is admitted in the hospital and she need to undergo surgery immediately, I was hoping if you could give me the money and I swear to work to pay for everything"Black said and saw the girl leaving the office

"How much is it?"The manager asked. Black dipped her hand into her jeans pocket and took out the bills handing it over to her manager. The man went through it and frowned immediately

"This is much. You have to work for like three years to be able to cover for this"the manager said

"I know, please sir just help me. My sister's life is at stake"Black plead

"Hmm... This is a small amount of money,I can even give it to you for free if you're ready to do what I want"The manager said having an evil glint on his face

"What is it sir?"Black asked

"If you will agree to sleep with me"The manager said and Black eyes went wide "stop acting like a virgin. You can't tell me you haven't sleep with a man before"the manager added.  Black got disgusted immediately after thinking about laying for an ugly looking short man with big pot belly

"Sir I wasn't asking you to give me the money for free,I was going to work for it"Black said and her manager frown immediately

"Go! I give you tonight to think about it,if you really love your sister it shouldn't be an hard decision for you"The manager said and Black stood up leaving his office.
