Moreni  was done for the day, she left her office hoping on catching a taxi that will take her home. As soon as she was out of the company's building, she saw Timothy standing with his back on a car. Moreni frowned immediately and decided to ignore him

Timothy didn't take that lightly and grabbed her hand before she could walk away

"Get your hands off me, you know we are in public"Moreni said and Timothy chuckled

"You have been ignoring my messages"Timothy said and Moreni's frown got deeper

"That's because I have nothing to discuss with you"Moreni retorted

"How's the wedding preparations going?"Timothy asked

"As smoothly as ever, now can you let my hand go"Moreni said and Timothy let go of her hand

"I'm still not okay with this Agape, I'm serious. I want you back in my life, if it's marriage you want. I will give it to you"Timothy said and Moreni laughed mockingly

"What's there you don't understand,the part I said I don't love you anymore or the part I said I don't need you in my life. Ain't you tired of blackmailing me?"Moreni shouted shutting Timothy up

She saw a taxi coming and stopped it, entering without sparing Timothy a look.

The ride to the house was filled with thoughts, she was so confused and also she think about getting married to Jide as soon as possible. She decided to talk to Jide about fixing a date for the wedding

"Are you going home for the holiday?"Favour asked. Kike is presently in Favour's apartment going through her book. Her first paper is coming soon and she needs no distractions

"Yes. I miss my mom and dad, this have been the highest I have gone without seeing them"Kike replied

"I'm going home too and that will be great"Favour said and Kike muttered a small 'ok'

Favour stood up from the bed and went to where Kike is sitting down, he carried her up and Kike squealed

He kissed Kike and tried getting intimate with her, Kike slowly pushed him

"I'm not in the mood"Kike said sitting up

"You're not always in the mood"Favour said bitterly

"Hey! I'm sorry okay. It just the way I am right now"Kike said and Favour nodded standing up heading to the bathroom. Kike sighed and slumped on the bed thinking about how it have become difficult for her to let Favour touch her, it irritates her and only Jide's touch her body wants and understand. She sighed again because she knew she is in a big mess.

Jide was done with the day's work, he decided to head over to Raphael's house when he suddenly had a call.

"Hello maami!"he says after picking the call. It was his mom calling him

"Congratulations o! Lola just gave birth"His mom said

"Seriously?! That's a good news"Jide said and his mom chuckled

"You should call her and your aunty too"His mom said

"I will do just that right now"Jide said and the call came to an end. He dialled Lola's contact immediately

"Mother of three!"Jide joked as soon as Lola picked the call

"It would have been mother of two except for the fact there's already a twins before"Lola joked and Jide chuckled

"My mom just called me and said you gave birth, how are you? Hope you're healthy?"Jide asked

"Very healthy. I thank God"Lola replied

"And the baby?"Jide asked

"He is fine. He's name is Kingsley"Lola said and Jide smiled

"That's good. You got two soldiers, you should better be fast and give Elizabeth a little sister to play with"Jide joked

"As if you can see how angry she is that the baby is not a girl"Lola said and they both laughed

"Okay, we will talk later then"Jide said after the laughter died down. The call came to an end, he kept his phone in is jeans' pocket taking some files he needs to sort out later, he left the office heading to Raphael's house

The ride to Raphael's house was short,Jide turned off the ignition of his car coming outside, he knocked on the door before pulling it open. He met Raphael sitting on the sofa watching a movie

"I'm always amazed of this beautiful house. As an architect I feel very proud"Jide said, Raphael chuckled

"You should be, it won you a new client, how far with Tabitha?"Raphael asked

"You know women, she's not an easy one but it's okay working for her. I can testify she really have a good taste"Jide replied and Raphael nodded "You do know Lola just gave birth right?"

"Yes. My mom called me and I already spoke with Lola, I think she said the new addition to the family is named Kingsley"Raphael said

"Yes. So now let's talk about you, what happened? You wanted to tell me something"Jide said and Raphael groan resting his head on the head rest of the sofa squeezing his eyes shut

"There is this girl"Raphael said and swallowed, picking Jide's attention immediately

"Which girl?"Jide asked

"You know I like going to strippers club most of the time"Raphael says

"Yes, I don't even know what's the fun of it"Jide replied

"Just shut up and let me talk"Raphael said and Jide went quiet "I met this girl in the stripper's club"Raphael continued after a short while of absolute silence

"I was immediately drawn to her the first time we met, I wanted a VIP section, she looks innocent doing her job and I think that got me closer to her too. After several visits always requesting for her, always ready to loose thousands,we started talking. She was like my living diary,I told her everything and her words are full of wisdom. I really like her and I want to be part of her life, I want her to be part of mine too but she's very adamant, she's running away from me. I don't know what she is thinking but it seems she doesn't believe me, she thinks I'm going to hurt but how could I? When I spent the most of my hours thinking about her. I'm fucked up Jide, there's this pain inside me I can't describe, it's so raw and...."Raphael couldn't continue anymore. He didn't know a tear had escaped his eyes. Jide watched him warily before sighing

"You really love her don't you?"Jide asked

"I don..."Raphael tried replying but Jide cut him short

"Don't give me that bullshit, you should know by now I know you like an open book"Jide said and Raphael shut up immediately, looking at his legs as if that's the most interesting thing in his life right now

"As a brother and your best friend all I can tell you is that if she worths all the fight,you shouldn't give up just like that. Make her know how much you love her and how you want her until eternity but if you know it doesn't worth it, give up right now before things gets complicated"Jide said

"Thank you"Raphael said and they went into a comfortable silence

"How's the wedding preparations?"Raphael suddenly asked

"It's going well, the event planner doing most of it"Jide replied

"Date yet?"Raphael asked

"I was thinking in three to four months time, things should be ready by then"Jide said and Raphael nodded. They went into another comfortable silence,to Jide's dismay Kike's thought slowly clouded his mind

Black had came to the house to cook and take to the hospital, Nnenna sickness got worst and she have to rush her to the hospital and left the twins with her there. Fortunately enough she quickly rounded up the food she was preparing when she heard a knock on the door, she was surprised because she wasn't expecting any visitors. She hardly have anyone to check up on her except Gold. She dropped the napkin she was holding heading to the door

She opened the door and met Raphael stand with his hand raised up about to knock on the door again,she was surprised to see Raphael on the door. She wasn't expecting him

"What do you want?!"Black asked angrily

"We have to talk"Raphael replied

"This is not the right time"Black replied

"Is there ever a right time for you, you just love to keep on pushing me away"Raphael answered a bit wrapped up with the anger brewing inside him

"I have somewhere to be this is not the right time for all this"Black said.

"Let me in first"Raphael says

"No!"

"You wouldn't like it if I force myself in"Raphael said and Black sighed before stepping aside for him to enter the house

Black closed the door and went to the kitchen to complete what she have been doing,awhile later Raphael joined her in the kitchen, he was standing at the door way leaning himself on the wall frame

"Where are your siblings?"Raphael asked

"Not around"Black replied monotonously

"Where are they?"Raphael pressed,he wanted to have a conversation with her

"Nnenna is admitted in the hospital,the boys are there with her"Black replied

"Oh my! What's wrong with her?"Raphael asked looking genuinely concerned

"Nothing serious"Black lied

"So the food is for them then?"Raphael asked

"Yes"Black replied, everywhere went silence. Raphael watched her quietly trying to put the food inside a big cooler, he knew he's attracted to her in many ways he don't understand himself.

Raphael suddenly held her left hand making Black to stop what she wants doing turning to see Raphael

"What is it?"Black asked but Raphael didn't answer her instead he drew her closer and lean down capturing her lips, Black went rigid at first and slowly she opened her mouth kissing Raphael back, Raphael carried her up and pinned her to the wall her legs wrapped around him. He kissed her with so much energy, tongue swirling in both mouth. Raphael sighed and ended the kiss.

Black went shy immediately and squeeze her eyes shut, Raphael found that cute and chuckled

"Give us a chance please, I promise you, you won't regret it"Raphael said and Black slowly open her eyes

"What if you fell out of love for me,what becomes of me then?"Black asked and Raphael couldn't answer "you know nothing about me too,how sure are you, you will still want me after learning about me?"

"I don't care about your past, I don't give a shit about that. All I care about is I want you in my life and I want you in my future,I want you to become part of me. I need you to complete me!"Raphael said and Black took a step away from him. She opened her mouth to talk but nothing was coming out, she was too overwhelmed by what Raphael said

Raphael could see how it is difficult for her to talk and decided to break the silence

"Let me drop you at the hospital"he said and she nodded taking the food. Her hands were shaking, Raphael noticed and took the food from her. They went outside, Black locked the door and joined Raphael in his car.

Raphael ignited his car engines and ride out of the rural area, the first thirty minutes of the ride was filled with silence, Raphael's concentration on the road while Black watch the city pass in a blur

"What do you want to know about me?"Black suddenly asked. Raphael wasn't sure he heard her well and gave her the confusing look "what do you want to know about me?"she asked again

Raphael immediately understand what she meant, that shows she is finally giving them a chance, he smiled widely not caring to hide how happy he is

"Let's start with you telling me your real name"Raphael replied
