Kike woke up hearing noises,she got confused and stood up leaving her room immediately,she was able to hear the voice clearer and it was obvious her sister and Jide were arguing,she got scared immediately thinking her sister might have caught them doing things forbidden between them. She suddenly heard the door open abruptly with Jide coming out not even sparing her a glance,he took his car key and left the house. Kike stood stationary at where she is wondering what was happening,she had never witnessed the two fight. Her hands started shaking when she saw her sister coming out of the room they shared,her heart was in her throat

"Where is he?"Moreni asked sighing

"He left with his car key"Kike said giving her sister a scrutinizing gaze. Moreni who wasn't aware of how shakenned she is sighed sitting on one of the sofas

"What happened?"Kike asked

"We had arguments about our wedding"Moreni said shrugging nonchalantly, Kike have grew over the years to know the kind of person her sister is,it's obvious she's quite not okay

"What happened?"Kike asked

"I always brush the wedding thought away whenever he talks about it,we are in no haste. So he said he's never asking me about it anymore"Moreni said

"Sister! Why will you do that to a man?! Someone who is ready to spend the rest of his life with you and someone you obviously love too!"Kike said and Moreni gave her don't you dare look. Moreni stood up and went to her room locking the door. She couldn't pretend any longer and fell on the floor crying her eyes out. She knows she can't continue like this,she can't continue sleeping with Timothy because of him blackmailing her. She have to set everything right and make her relationship wholesome like the way it was before

She wiped her tears taking her phone to dial Timothy's contact.

"Hello babe!"Timothy said as soon as he picked the call

"We need to talk"Moreni said going straight to the point

"We are talking"Timothy replied using a durhh tone

"I need to see you physically,this is a long talk"Moreni said stubbornly

"Yeah yeah yeah! We see in the evening,I'm at work"Timothy said

"Better!"Moreni said ending the call.

Kike stood close to thirty minutes not understanding what's going on or what's running on her sister's mind,she knows her sister loves Jide a lot,she witness all the beautiful gazes she shower on him,no sane woman will not see Jide as an eye candy. She sighed thinking of getting back to her room,she doesn't have classes until 11am. She suddenly saw her sister coming out of the room with her bag and already dressed for the office

"I'm going to work. Get yourself breakfast"Moreni said and walk away without sparing Kike her glance. Kike sighed and went to the kitchen preparing noodles for herself,she came back to sit down in her comfort zone and ate peacefully.

Anger! Nothing was enough to justify for all Jide felt,he was so angry at Moreni that the only way he could control his anger is walking out of the house,he doesn't know if Moreni loves him anymore. He just don't understand why Moreni loves pushing the wedding preparations away,he doesn't know if she don't want the wedding anymore. He doesn't even know what he felt for her sister and there's a lot of things he doesn't know that's complicating his life. He groan and parked his car at the parking lot of his company. He came down from it heading to his office,his workers were busy greeting him but he looks too angry to reply any. He went straight to his office and sat down angrily thinking about lots of things and nothing, trying to justify for what Moreni is currently doing to him.

As much as Kike wanted to see Favour by the end of the day, she also knows there is an apology that is needed to be offered. She played with her shirt throughout the class turning interval to look at the new student Rose

The student stood up immediately packing their notes and ready to leave the class,no one was relating to another and she knew it's because they were all new students with time things will surely change between them. Kike packed her notes too dumping them inside her school bag and rush over to meet Rose

"Rose! Rose!"Kike shouted running over to meet Rose,Rose heard and pretended increasing her steps. Kike increased her steps too rushing over to stop her. "Rose!"she breathes out

"What?!"Rose asked looking angry

"Please,let's talk"Kike said and Rose sighed

"We have nothing to talk about"Rose said and Kike sighed rubbing her temples

"Rose! I'm sorry"Kike breathes out making a sad face. Rose looked at Kike warily shaking her head before walking away, Kike sighed too weak to talk,she only watched Rose walking away before her phone started ringing. She sighed and removed her phone from her bag,she met it was Favour. She sighed before picking the call

"Hey what's up?!"Jide heard Raphael's voice after picking his ringing phone. He rubbed his temple before speaking

"I'm fine. What's up?!"his voice came out scratched and hoarse

"What's up dude! You don't sound too good"Raphael said and Jide chuckled dryly

"Can we hit the club tonight?"Jide asked

"Sure!"Raphael said sounding confused. Jide ended the call and threw his phone on top of his desk. He rubbed his face one more time before standing up, he took his phone and his car key leaving the office. He entrered his car riding over to the club he normally goes to with Raphael.

As soon as he entered the club he was hit with the deafening blasting music on the speaker, he went over to meet the bartender immediately. He gave him an hand shake,and sat on a stool requesting for a drink. He drank it all up in a gulp and requested for another one,he went on for another three rounds before he felt someone tapping his back

"You're just coming!"he shouted when he saw Raphael

"Yes! I was caught up"Raphael shouted back,the music is too loud "you being drinking?!"Raphael asked after noticing him

"Yup!"Jide said smiling slightly intoxicated

"You know you don't have much tolerance for alcohol and you promised not to take it anymore"Raphael said and Jide chuckled

"Just felt like drinking today"Jide said shrugging and Raphael watched him warily as he gulped down another drink

"How many drink did you take?"Raphael asked

"Four? Five? Six? I can't remember"Jide said and Raphael's eyes went wide,he caught the new drink Jide was trying to take and pushed it away

"You're going home right now and you are going to tell me what's wrong with you tomorrow"Raphael said and pull Jide up. Jide tried struggling but he was too intoxicated to have enough energy to struggle. Raphael thank his God he didn't come to the club with his car, normally he was the one that gets intoxicated and Jide driving him home not the other way round. He helped Jide on the car and drove out of the club heading to his house.

The car ride lasted for more than an hour because of the usual Lagos traffic, Raphael finally arrived at Jide's house,he came out of the car to help him up. He dragged him to the house and knocked.

Kike who was in the sitting room watching a movie she is not really interested on heard a knock on the door,she guessed it was her sister and stood up to go and get the door. She opened it and was surprised to see Jide intoxicated with his friend holding him up,she helped him to take him inside. Jide practically fell on one of the sofas. Raphael sighed not sure of what to do,Jide was heavy and carrying him take a lot of toll on him

"What happened?"Kike asked getting scared

"I don't know,where is your sister?"Raphael asked

"She's not at home"Kike replied

"Okay,please take care of him. I will be coming back tomorrow's morning to check up on him"Raphael said and Kike nodded,she watched Raphael sighed watching Jide with care before leaving the house.

Kike sighed looking at Jide not sure of what to do,she went closer to him, she tap him and Jide suddenly opened his eyes,he tried standing up but staggered,Kike helped him stable immediately

"Let's get you inside your room"Kike said and Jide tried nodding,Kike successfully took him inside his room. Kike sighed when Jide finally laid on the bed,she went closer to him and helped him remove his shoes. She turned to leave the room when Jide held her hand and dragged her to bed

"You need to sleep"Kike said and Jide chuckled

"What are you?"Jide asked giving her a scrutinizing gaze,Kike looked confused when Jide turn them over laying on top of her but his weight supported with his left hand

"You look sobber enough"Kike said and Jide chuckled placing his head on the nook of her neck

"I'm so into you,I don't know why"Jide said and Kike swallowed

"You're drunk"Kike said

"Like you said,I'm sobber enough"Jide replied

"You should go to bed,it will be bad for my sister to meet us like this and you don't...."Jide cut her off by kissing her,Kike tried pushing him off but he didn't budge and slowly she found herself responding to him.
