Kike woke up feeling light headed. She can't believe her time spent at home is over and it's time to resume her new school,she yawn and took her phone placed beside her on the bed checking the time. She saw it was already 8:00am and stood up stretching her body like a wild cat. She left her room going over to the bathroom to have a nice shower,she wore a black jeans on an orange coloured top. She left her room and went to the sitting room to meet her mom setting breakfast on the dining room. She smiled remembering how her mom have been over pampering her for the last few days probably because she's about leaving home for a long time

"Is everything ready?"her mother asked and she nodded going closer to her

"Yes mummy. Good morning"she greeted and her mom returned her greeting with a smile. They sat down and ate quietly shortly after her dad joined them after returning from his shop. Kike round up her breakfast and went inside to drag her bags out. She was going to leave the city with Favour.

It doesn't take too long for Favour to come over to her compound,his dad had drove him to the compound. Favour's dad open his car booth and Kike took her bag inside with the help of Favour.

"Thank you"Kike muttered and Favour smiled

"Thank you so much sir"Mrs Rotimi suddenly said to Favour's dad and the man smiled

"You're welcome"the man replied. Kike went over to her dad hugging him. Her dad prayed for her and gave her words of advice. Mrs Rotimi decided to follow them to the park. They entered Favour's dad car and rode to the park.

"Please keep an eye on her for me"Mrs Rotimi pleads with Favour who only chuckled

"Okay ma'am. No problem"Favour replied. They entered the car awhile later leaving their families behind.

Kike look back to see as the city pass in a blur,she sighed and rested her head on Favour's shoulder. Favour slowly patted her back and slowly she fell asleep.

Kike suddenly jolted sitting up immediately,she saw her phone ringing and took it. It was her sister calling her

"Hello"she said with her sleepy voice

"Where are you?"Moreni asked and Kike look around looking at Favour

"Tell her we will be dropping soon. We are near to the park"Favour muttered and Kike repeated thesame thing

"You should wait for me. I will come and pick you up"Moreni said

"Okay"Kike replied and the call came to an end "I can't believe I slept throughout the journey"Kike suddenly muttered and Favour chuckled

"You seem tired that's why I didn't bother waking you up"Favour said and Kike nodded.

In less than thirty minutes time,the bus suddenly stopped at the garage and they all came down. Favour helped Kike to pull out her bag,they went over to buy a chill soft drink when Kike's phone suddenly started ringing. She took her phone and met her sister calling her

"Where are you?!"Moreni asked

"I'm near"She replied ending the call. She look around and saw her sister. "That's my sister over there she's waiting for me"Kike said and they walk over to meet her.

Kike's step slow down when her eyes landed on Jide. She haven't planned on how she was going to act when she see him again,she suddenly started missing him and shook her head focusing her gaze on something else

"Kikelomo!"Her sister called her full name and she smiled walking over to hug her "how are you doing?"her sister asked

"I'm fine sis"she replied and turn to look at Jide whose eyes were on her,she swallowed and look away

"How was the journey?"Jide asked

"It was okay"she replied and look over to see Favour

"Don't worry about me,my ride will be arriving soon"Favour said and Kike nodded

"Good afternoon sir,good afternoon ma"Favour greeted Moreni and Jide

"Good afternoon"Moreni and Jide chorused

"Sis this is Favour my closest friend"Kike introduced Favour,Favour look at her disapprovingly but Kike rolled her eyes muttering 'she will kill me if she founds out'

"How are you doing?"Moreni asked having a mischievous smile plastered on her face

"I'm fine ma"Favour replied confused about her face

"So you're the one always keeping my little sister busy,both of you should be careful anyways"Moreni said playfully. Kike and Favour look at eachother knowing they were caught red handed

"O.... Ok... Thanks... Thank you"Favour stammered not knowing what to say. Kike waved Favour and followed her sister to Jide's car,not long enough Favour's ride came and they both left the park.

Kike feels confiscated inside the car looking at Jide,she decided to avert her gaze focusing her gaze on the car's window.

The drive back to the house was short,Kike came down from the door dragging her bags inside the house with the help of her sister and fiancé. She thanked them going back to the room she occupied on her first time in the house,she sighed and slumped on the bed closing her eyes. The image of what happened between her and Jide invaded her privacy,she opened her eyes immediately and decided to have a fresh shower.

She took her clothes off, entering the bathroom. She took a cool shower and went to the sitting room and met Jide going through the laptop he's carrying,she peeped and saw that he was busy drawing something that partakes with architecture, something she doesn't even know anything about. Jide felt her presence and turned focusing his gaze on her, he looked at her warily feeling nostalgic. He misses her more than he would love to admit

"Uhmmm.... Where is my sister?"Kike asked feeling uncomfortable staying alone in the sitting room with Jide

"She went to get something from a super market"Jide replied dropping the laptop he is holding on top of the center table

"Okay"Kike replied rubbing her hand on her shirt turning around to go back inside. Jide stood up immediately holding her hand stopping her from walking

"Hey!"Jide breathes and Kike held her breathes,the place Jide's hand is tingles her

"You shouldn't touch me sir"Kike whispered swallowing, Jide gritted his jaws when he heard Kike call him Sir

"Kike... I missed you"Jide breathes out his voice cracking. Kike suddenly grew angry when she heard him said he misses her

"You could have called!"Kike said outbursting turning to look at him. She realised what she did and squeeze her eyes shut

"I didn't know how to... I tried contacting you but I don't want to get you into any problems"Jide said holding her cheeks

"Okay"Kike replied trying to control her tears,she can't just fathom the reason why she's attracted to her sister's Fiancé. She thought she can finally control how she feels but everything become fruitless now she's standing leaning on his touch and angry at herself for wanting him

"Why are you crying?"Jide asked and she suddenly realised she is crying

"It's nothing"she said and take a step back. "I should head back inside"She suddenly said and Jide draw her closer wrapping his hands around her waist. He breathes in before kissing her forehead,he watched her face warily and saw her closing her eyes while unknowingly slightly pouting,he lean and give her a short kiss. They suddenly heard the door clicking and took a step away from eachother immediately

"Jide"they heard Moreni's voice coming inside the sitting room,Kike turned immediately wiping her tears

"You're back"Jide said and went closer to Moreni who was beaming,it seems there was something that made her look excited

"Yes o... I was awarded the best customer in the super market"Moreni said smiling widely

"That's great"Jide said and went closer to her hugging her,he look at Kike who was seeing them and winked at her,Kike smiled looking away

"Oya let's go and cook"Moreni said after disentangling herself from the hug. Kike followed her to the kitchen and Jide sighed slumping on the sofa. He can't even imagine how confusing his life is presently

Kike looked around the school compound and smiled, the crowd alone was overwhelming and it's obvious everyone was rushing to the class. She picked her phone to call Favour, Favour picked the phone in no time and Kike told him where she is presently. In few minutes time Favour came to meet her

"Hey!"Kike said smiling at him

"Let's take you to your first class"Favour said chuckling kissing her forehead.

Favour took her to the venue she have her first class,she look inside the class and turn to see Favour, looking nervous

"It's fine,you will get use to it"Favour said and Kike smiled at him before stepping inside the class waving him good bye. She entered the class and met the class already filled with students.

She silently went to sit on a corner waiting for her lecturer, it didn't take up to ten minutes for a tall old man to enter the class. The first noisy class became quiet immediately. The man walked up to the board cleaning the board

" Good morning students. My name is Professor Bamidele Joseph. I will be taking you zoology"the lecturer said writing his name down. Kike took her book writing the man's name on it

"So I will be writing out the course outline showing you the topics we are going to cover on the course this semester" Prof Bamidele said while Kike listened attentively like every other students in the class rendering the class as quiet as the graveyard.

Few minutes later while Kike was busy copying the course outline a student suddenly entered the class,Prof Bamidele stopped what he was doing turning to look at the student.

"Are you just coming?"Prof Bamidele asked adjusting his glass

"I'm sorry sir"the student replied not actually looking sorry,Kike gave her a once over. She was wearing a black turtle neck shirt tucked in a black trouser. Kike disliked her immediately

"What's your name?"Prof Bamidele asked

"Chidinma"she replied

"Chidinma what?! Your full name?"Prof Bamidele asked by this time Kike's all attention was on the lady

"Chidera Chidinma Rose"the lady replied scowling

"You can go and sit. I'm only letting you go because this is your first time in my class, next time you try such I will make sure never to set my eyes on you in any of my classes again"Prof Bamidele said and the lady walk away taking a sit at the extreme end

Kike snorted wondering the guts the student had,she was expecting her to apologize but she didn't.

Kike thought and her mind take her back to what Prof Bamidele was doing,the man had continued his lecturing like nothing happened few minutes ago

The day came to an end leaving Kike already tired of school,she had three lectures non stopped. She got bored on the second class and almost passed out on the third. She called Favour's contact who picked after few rings

"Where are you?"Kike asked yawning

"In the class,what's up?"Favour replied with a small voice

"I wanted to go and see the hostel I asked you to help me out on"Kike replied

"I'm busy, after this I still have practical and PCH class to attend. Let's wait till tomorrow"Favour replied

"Okay,I will be heading home right now"

"Okay"Favour replied and the call came to an end
