Kike was finally done with her physical screening and sighed looking at Favour who chuckled quietly. The line was much and Kike felt like fainting several times before it finally reached her turn. She went over to meet Favour who was having a smug smile on his face

"Why didn't you warn me before hand"Kike said frowning and Favour chuckled

"What's the fun of it then"Favour replied and Kike felt like smacking his face with the bag she's holding "let's go on our date"

"Date?"Kike asked looking at Favour

"Yes date"Favour replied holding Kike's hand dragging her along

"How was the exam?"Kike asked

"It was okay"Favour replied and they slowly walk out of the school compound gisting about everything and nothing.

".... You know I found out my sister's Fiancé can draw,that man is so cool!"Kike suddenly said between laughter and Favour turn to look at her

"You sound like someone crushing"Favour said raising one of his brows. Kike frown brushing her shoulder with his,which barely happened because Favour is way taller than her

"Stop saying rubbish"Kike said and Favour chuckled. They went to cold stone and bought ice-cream, they sat down taking it quietly when Favour suddenly broke the silence

"How will it feel to kiss with cold lips?"Favour asked,Kike stopped what she was doing looking up

"I don't know you tell me"Kike said placing her palm on her cheek

"Or show you"Favour said having an evil smile on his face,Kike raise her brows questioning him when Favour did the unthinkable by kissing her. Kike kissed him back and they broke the kiss awhile later,the both of them heaving heavily

"How does it feel?"Favour asked

"That was sweet,I wasn't expecting something so intense"Kike replied chuckling and suddenly remembered they are in public,she squeeze her eyes shut immediately "don't tell me we kissed in public!"she whisper yelled making Favour to burst into laughter

"You didn't seem not to like it few minutes ago"Favour said and Kike huffed while Favour kept laughing.

They left the cold stone awhile later and went to the park,they look around having fun when Kike broke the silence

"We should go to Domino. I'm craving for pizza"Kike said and Favour nodded and they left the park. They got their pizza and went to the back of the building which is empty. They sat on the green grass eating their pizza when Kike suddenly broke the silence

"This is the best date I ever had"Kike said and Favour's smile grew wider

"Me too. I wish we can do this everyday"Favour said looking at the sky and Kike did thesame. Darkness had fallen and the sky was just illuminated by the light from the stars. The moon is nowhere sighted

"I think you're going to love our next date"Favour suddenly said and Kike look up at him

"What's that?"Kike asked

"We are going to have our own mini cinema watching Korean movies with a lot of junks"Favour said and Kike's eyes went wide

"Oh my! You didn't just said that!"Kike said excitedly

"I just did"Favour said smiling and Kike stood up bouncing on him for an hug,Favour chuckled and rolled them over. Kike laying on the grass and him above her but his weight carried by his left hand. He lean over kissing her,Kike didn't waste time wrapping her hands on his neck kissing him back.

Jide dropped his phone looking at the work he just finished doing, being an architect is time consuming but worth it because it's something he loves doing. He suddenly heard the door open and saw Moreni coming inside the house, his lips slowly curved into a smile and stood up hugging her,Moreni chuckled a bit and turn around kissing him

"Miss me that much?"Moreni asked and Jide just smiled going back to sit on the bed. Moreni disappeared into the bathroom and came back some minutes later clad on a robe,she went through her wardrobe pulling out a black short gown wearing it,Jide raise his brow up given her a questioning look. Moreni ignored and continue dressing

"Uhmmm babe"Jide called and Moreni turn to look at Jide

"What's it?"Moreni asked

"I was waiting for you to come back home so that we can have an healthy talk and start making preparations for the wedding,you know so that we can set the date and every other thing"Jide said and Moreni halted what she was doing

"Must we do that today?"Moreni asked

"Yeah... I will be traveling tomorrow for work and don't know when I'm coming back. Maybe it might take up to a week or so, I know we can't plan everything out today but at least we should start something"Jide said and Moreni rolled her eyes

"We can do that when you come back,I'm going out"Moreni said and Jide frown

"By this time? To where?"he asked

"To Sola's place. A night over"Moreni said and Jide gave her 'are you kidding me' look

"Babe I'm talking about our wedding.."Jide said

"Yes,I know. See Jide,we are going to spend the rest of our lives together and we have enough time to do so why should we hasten anything"Moreni said and Jide chuckled dryly

"Hasten everything?! We have been engaged for more than a month!"Jide said obviously getting riled up

"So? What about people that get engaged for more than a year before getting married"Moreni replied equally stubborn

"I wouldn't tell you to marry me if I'm not ready"Jide said

"Not this night please! I already told you I have a night over at Sola's"Moreni said wearing her heels leaving the room,Jide stood up Immediately stopping her by holding her hand

"What's wrong with you?"Jide asked

"There's nothing wrong with me"Moreni replied looking at her wrist watch "and now I have to go"

"A sleep over is more important than planning your own wedding,you could sleep over at her place tomorrow"Jide said and Moreni frowned

"We could plan this when you come back from your journey! Why can't you be an understanding man!"Moreni yelled and Jide let her hand go

"Wow! I'm suddenly not an understanding man. Good"Jide said and Moreni opened her mouth to apologize when the door suddenly opened. The smile on Kike's face died immediately she noticed the tension in the air

"And you're just coming home?"Moreni asked

"I was with my friend"Kike replied

"By this time,what kind of girl are you?!"Moreni yelled at Kike and Kike saw Jide shaking his head before walking away. "I will be spending the night away,if you like leave the house and don't sleep here I will know and call your parents"Moreni added before walking away. Kike just stood confused not knowing what's going on. She went over to her room dropping her bag and stepped out of her room going over to the kitchen to check if there's food. She met Jide standing in the kitchen his two hands on the kitchen island looking so angry

"Good evening"Kike greeted with a small voice and Jide turn to look at her. He sighed thinking about hugging her but thought against it,it felt like Kike read his mind and went closer hugging him,Jide wrapped his hands around her immediately. Kike thought about when they became this comfortable touching eachother but the thought died down when Jide talked

"I'm so angry at your sister"He muffled on her neck

"I know"Kike replied and they became quiet. Kike dropped her hands from his shoulder and Dropped his right hand entangling their fingers. Kike look up to see him and met his eyes already on her. She finally came to her senses and took a step away from him. Jide didn't complain

"What are you doing in the kitchen?"Jide asked

"I was looking for something to eat"Kike replied

"Go wash up. I will set your dinner up for you"Jide said and Kike nodded leaving the kitchen. She went back to her room and removed her clothes entering the bathroom. She showered and change to a white night gown,she went over to the kitchen and met Jide fetching some potato porridge inside a plate. Kike gave him a grateful smile and took the plate from him,she sat on the stool eating quietly while Jide sat on a stool too going through his phone

"What happened?"Kike suddenly asked and Jide stopped going through his phone

"Nothing much. It's about us planning our wedding but your sister prefer a night over than talking about us"Jide said and Kike nodded in understanding

"She might be stressed or something. You guys can always do that another day"Kike said and Jide sighed

"Am I being silly?"Jide suddenly asked

"No! Of course not. I would be angry too if it was me"Kike said truthfully and Jide smiled. Kike ate the rest of her dinner quietly,she washed the plate returning it to its rightful place before looking at Jide

"What about drawing me to take your mind off things"Kike suddenly said making Jide to chuckle,Jide knew how much Kike wants him to art her. He stood up and Kike followed,he went to his room picking his canvas. They went to Kike's room and Kike sat on the bed happily while Jide set everything he needed sitting on a stool while arting Kike.

The drawing took almost two hours and Jide finally finished what he was doing. Kike stood up immediately stretching her body looking very tired

"I never knew sitting in one position can be this tiring"Kike said and Jide chuckled. Kike went over to see the art and gasped immediately her eyes landed on it "this is perfect so perfect!"Kike cried and Jide chuckled. Kike went over to hug him and Jide smiled. He kept the canvas at the other side of the room and Kike fell on her bed closing her eyes

"Are you still angry at my sister?"Kike asked

"No,I think I'm fine now"Jide said sitting beside Kike on the bed. The light suddenly went off and Kike sighed

"Seems the light is gone"Kike said

"Yeah"Jide replied calmly. He felt Kike shuffling on the bed laying down,Jide took a bold step and lay down on the bed too taking a safe distance from Kike

"I heard my sister saying one day that you grew up in England. Why did you come back to Nigeria?"Kike asked turning to face Jide. She couldn't make out his face because everywhere is pitch black

"It's a long story,I will tell one day but right now all you need to know is I choose my mom over my dad"Jide said and silence ensured

"Your parents are not together?"Kike asked

"No"Jide said, Kike found Jide's hand holding it squeezing it softly,Jide went closer to her thesame time Kike turn to face the other side of the bed. Jide wrapped his hands around Kike and she stopped breathing momentarily, he feels Jide's hot breathe on her neck and that arouses her

"I'm sorry"she said quietly and Jide draw her closer. Kike didn't complain only closing her eyes

"Can I touch you?"Jide breathes out and Kike quietly muttered

"Yes"
