What did you do!? (vent piece)
A/n: hey! Sorry for not updating recently! So here's a short, edgy and gory story. This is a story with my wings of fire fan tribes, sorry if it's confusing.
(WARNING! THIS STORY CONTAINS GRAFIC IMAGERY AND GORE, BLOOD AND CANNIBALISM! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED)
"Aspen? Is that you?" Bruno timidly asked, she could hear the heavy breathing of the large figure in the cave doorway. There was no response to her question except for it's claws scraping across the ground, sending sparks flying, giving her a glimpse of whoever it was.
She could see that they were hunched over, their head close to the ground. Their shoulders were scrunched, like a panther, ready to pounce. Large wings were held at their sides, making them look much bigger. Bruno could see light blue and white scales, a darker blue pattern on their nose bridge and forehead.
Bruno's soft orange scales looked ghostly in the thin light of the moons, shining through the window. Her normally droopy ears were perked and alert. The silence was broken by the figure starting to laugh, that broke her paralysis and she quickly leaped for her dragonet's egg.
As she reached the abnormally large egg, the figure, still laughing, rushed forward and jumped onto her. Their claws dug into her scales causing her to call out in pain. Bruno quickly tried flipping around to kick them off of her, only for cold, crazy and dead eyes to meet her's.
Aspen groggily woke up to the cold sunshine filtering in through the snow covered trees. As soon as he woke up, he jolted up, leaned over the bed and threw up. Once he stopped puking, he was horrified to find that this vomit was filled with blood and meat.
Breathing heavily, he stood up and wiped his mouth, only to find that his once bright blue scales were stained with dried, brownish red blood. His eyes widened as his breath faded. Looking back onto the bed, Aspen could see more blood coating the hay mattress. He shivered as his eyes landed on the window. It was smashed, letting the cold winter outside, into the small cave.
Blinking rapidly, Aspen shook his head and looked around, a bright orange tail tip caught his attention. He hesitated before calming his breath and cautiously walking around the corner. What Aspen saw made him gasp and back up a pace.
There, in a pool of fresh, frozen and dried blood, was his newly married wife, Bruno. She was strewn out over the floor, Bits and pieces of her were scattered. Her face looked tired, and her eyes were empty as frozen blood dripped out of her mouth. Her entire chest cavity was split open, ribs were broken, they looked like they had been forcibly bent back until they snapped. Her lungs, and once beating heart were missing, but her main airways remained.
Aspen gaged as he continued to look down her mutilated body. Her stomach was pulled from her gut, but it looked like half of it was missing. Her lower intestine was spread out on the floor, frost building up on the shiny red blood. From what Aspen could see, her big intestine, liver, one of her kidneys, and gallbladder were all also missing. The way her flesh was torn, it looked like huge claw marks.
Her body looked to be posed in some sick way, her back was arched backwards, her arms held up in front of her, and her legs twisted back. Aspen soon saw that they were broken. Collapsing to the ground, he threw up again, adding blood filled vomit to the mix of liquids on the floor. Stopping to catch his breath, Aspen spotted something in the puke that made him want to throw up again. There, partially digested, was part of Bruno's large intestine.
Aspen yelped and stumbled back, did he eat his Wife!? Aspen then noticed, her half eaten body, covered in blood and frost, was clutching their un normally large dragonet's egg.
"B...Bruno..." Aspen choked, he covered his mouth with his talon as tears filled his eyes.
"Aspen? Where's mom?" A younger female voice asked from behind him. Aspen looked over his shoulder to see his step daughter, Willow, standing in the doorway, her eyes widened when she saw his face. "What did you do..." she breathed, fear Filling her eyes.
"Willow! It's not what it looks like!" Aspen shouted as she cut him off.
"You ate mom!?" Willow shouted. The young AutumnWing's flower filled scent made it's way to Aspen's nose, and his mind went blank.
As Aspen came to, he could her fading and muffled laughter. Once his eyes cleared, he could see Willow. She was being pinned on the floor, one of her eyes was wide while the other one had a huge claw mark running through it, sending blood streaming down her face. Aspen noticed many other wounds and cuts before realizing that he was the one laughing, and the one pinning her to the ground.
The reason why he was muffled was because Willow's right arm was being held sideways in Aspen's mouth, holding him back. Warm blood filled his teeth and trickled down Willow's arm before he stopped laughing.
Aspen regained control and opened his jaws to let go of her. As soon as Willow was free, she stood up and winced, her left back leg was twisted awkwardly and she was limping. Aspen's breath staggered as he backed up, fell back and scooted up against the cold wall, his talons covering his mouth and nose.
He started breathing rapidly, his vision blurred and his mind started race. What was happening to him?! Was this normal? Did he really want to kill his Wife and step daughter? No no, that couldn't be right. Aspen let out a long cry as pain shot through his skull, he clutched his head in his talons and shut his eyes tight.
Once the pain faded, Aspen looked up at Willow, who's fear filled eye was staring at him like he was a monster. Getting up, Aspen rushed out the door, grabbing his freshly painted, wooden guitar on the way out. He threw the strap around his shoulder before throwing open his wings and leaping out into the sky.
He knew Willow was right, he was a monster, but he was going to fix it. Aspen knew what he'd have to do next, he glanced down at his large, blood soaked claws, and saw the reflection of his exposed neck in the shiny blood.
A/n x2: hey soo, yeah this is bloody and gross and is also a bit of a vent piece. If you are confused about the ending, read the last part carefully and let your imagination go wild. I'm not sharing.
A/n x3: and since I know some of you will ask, yes I took inspiration from Beaststars for the arm in the mouth thing. I took inspiration from Haru holding Legoshi back, so yeah...
please don't @me about it.
