Skylar's Pov:

'God!! You are stupid!!' Everyone screamed at me with hate in their eyes.

'I am sorry.' I said crying.

I woke up sweating and panting. I looked around to see a sound asleep Tyler. After the whole Max drama, he had been staying in my room to keep a watch on me.

"Ty?" I whispered while he jolt awake.

"What is it?" He asked groggy.

"Nightmare." I whispered while he got out of his bed and sat next to me.

"Again?" He asked and I nodded. I hugged him while he hugged back.

I looked at the time and it was 2:30am. I was sleepy but I was afraid I was going to have the same nightmare again.

"Ty do you mind sleeping with me? I am scared of having the same nightmare." I said while he nodded. He slipped in while I rested my head on my pillow.

He snaked his arms around my waist while I got closer to him. I could hear his heart beat. With that sound I drifted into a deep sleep.

"Come on Sky." I heard my mother say from the other line.

"I guess so. I mean I'll have to ask him." I said sitting in my bed.

"He sounds like a wonderful young man. Plus, your brother told me everything that happened with Max a couple of weeks ago." My mom said making me sigh.

"I know mom but the guys are protecting me. We have bigger things to worry about. Lu is almost three months along. We are having a new addition to the baby department of the group. Now Elli won't be so lonely." I said while I heard something move beside me.

"I know honey. That is why I have to meet this Tyler man. To see if he is worthy of being part of the Frost family. " Mom said making me blush.

"Ma, I have only been dating him for a couple of weeks and you are already making wedding plans." I said shaking my head.

"You never know honey. But please. Come to dinner tonight."

"I will try ma. If not then I will come alone." I said while she sighed.

"Remember I want to meet this young man."

"I know ma. Look I have to go. I will call you if anything changes."

"Okay. See you tonight. Love you."

"Love you too." I said before I hung up.

I sighed looking at my phone. Ma was pretty bummed that things between me and Max didn't work out. She found him Frost worthy but he isn't. That is why she is being really cautious with Tyler. I can assure you that Tyler isn't like Max.

"You okay? You have a thinking face on." Tyler said giving me a kissing on the cheek.

"Yeah. It's just ma asked you to come to dinner tonight. She wants to know if you are Frost worthy or so she says. I really don't listen. She said Max was Frost worthy but turns out he isn't." I said with a sigh.

"What did we say about not thinking about him?" Tyler said kissing me again in the cheek.

"I know. I just can't help it. Plus the nightmares aren't helping either."

"Let's go to the dinner with your parents. It will take your mind of things over here." He said kissing me in the temple.

"Yeah I guess so." My phone rang making me pick it up confused.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Don't tell me your forgot about your friends over here in Scotland." I heard Mer say making me laugh.

"Mer!! How you doing?" I asked and saw the confused face of Tyler.

"Fine. Just busy with the twins." She sigh.

"I know. Lu told me. How is Hicc?" At the mention of Hicc, Tyler looked at me.

"How about you talk to him?" She said and I am guessing she is passing the phone to Hicc.

"Sky." Tyler said making me look at him.

"You know Hiccup Haddock?" He asked while I nodded.

"He was my buddy before his parents divorced." He said while I was shocked.

"Hey Skylar!! I heard about the whole incident with a certain someone."

"Apparently everyone knows about it. By the way, do you know anyone by the name Tyler?" I asked.

"Tyler. As in Tyler Phoenix?!" He said.

"Yep!! That Tyler."

"Yeah!! He was my buddy before my parents divorced. Wait, how do you know him?" He asked clearly confused.

"Oh, I don't know, maybe because he is my boyfriend." I said giggling.

"Hold up a second, he is your boyfriend?!" He screamed making move my phone out of my ear,

"Yeah, he is my boyfriend. He is right beside me. I will put you in speaker." I said as I put my phone in between us.

"Sup, Hicc." Tyler said casually.

"Buddy!! How you doing?" Hicc said supper excited.

"I am fine. I am just sitting next to the most wonderful girl in the world." He said kissing my cheek making me giggle.

"Ah!! I heard from someone that you are dating little Frost." Hicc said while I smiled at my nickname.

Hiccup sometimes called me that because since I was the smallest out of the twins.

"Yep!! I am dating Ms. Skylar Frost."

"Not for long!!" Hicc sang and I knew what he meant.

"What do you mean not for long?" Tyler asked clearly confused.

"What I mean is that she won't be Slylar Frost for long. Soon she will be Mrs. Phoenix." Hiccup said making me blush. And thanks to my pale skin, it was very noticeable.

"Thank you Hicc. For the wonderful intel." Tyler said sarcastically.

"Your welcome buddy. Ali leave your brother alone!!" We heard him scream to Meri Alice, one of the twins.

Hiccup and Merida have twins. Henry, the first born, looks like his dad but has blue eyes. Meri Alice on the other hand looks like Merida but with green eyes. They are both 2 like Elliot but Elli is bigger than them.

"I am sorry guys. Ali was taking Henry's toys again." Hiccup sigh making me giggle.

"They aren't that bad. At least with me they aren't." We heard Merida say in the background making me laugh.

"Whatever you say honey!! Anyway, I have to go but it was nice talking to you Tyler."

"Hey!! What about me?" I said in a joking way.

"It was nice talking to you too. I will talk to you later. Bye!!" He said.

"Bye!!" We said before I hung up.

"I had no idea you knew him." I said resting my head in his chest.

"I didn't know you knew him either. Anyway I want to go to the dinner with your parents."

"Are you sure?" I looked him in eyes.

"Yes, I am sure." He said and kissed me.

As we stood in front of my parents house I grew even more nervous than before.

"You okay?" Tyler whispered in my ear. He was behind me with his arms around my waist.

"Yeah, I think so." I whispered back just as I raised my hand to knock.

Seconds later, mom came to view. She was wearing a black dress with her white apron on top. Her hair was pulled back into high bun. She had a smile in her face which made me smile.

"Skylar, honey." She said and went to hug me. Tyler's hands left my waist for me to hug her.

"Mom." I said hugging her. I hadn't seen my mom in over three months and it was horrible.

"I missed you baby." She said with tears in her eyes.

"Me too ma." I said trying not to cry.

"I am guessing this is the young man you told me about." She said gesturing to Tyler who was behind me.

"Ma this is Tyler Phoenix. Tyler this is ma." I said introducing them.

"Hello, Mrs. Frost. It's nice to meet you." Tyler said and shacked her hand.

"Nice to meet you too. Now come on in."
As we went in I heard a scream, followed by footsteps.

"Sky!!! Your home!!" Emma said running towards me.

"Emm!!!" I said and met her half way.

Emma had gotten pretty tall now being a 12 year old. She was still her bright self and I was happy for that. I missed her a lot since I practically helped ma raise her. I mean Jack and I were 10 when she was born.

"Is this Tyler?" She whispered to me pointing at Tyler who was talking with mom.

"Yep. " I said kissing her forehead.

"He is better than Max." She said making me laugh.

"Yes he is. Ten times better than him." I said putting my arm around her shoulder and guiding her towards Tyler and mom.

"Ty, this is Emma. My little sis. Em this is Tyler." I said introducing them both.

"I have heard so much about you." Tyler said going to shack her hand but Em went and hugged him.

"Please take care of my sis from that monster." She whispered to him but I heard it.

"Don't worry, I will. I promise."

"I heard my little girls voice." Dad said entering while I smiled.

"Daddy!!" I said and ran to hug him.

He was still the same dad that raised me. I missed them all. I was pretty busy with work, Elliot, Max and Tyler. Everything was going pretty fast and I was still trying to process everything.

"I missed you guys." I said still hugging dad and not letting him go.

"We missed you to princess." He said kissing my forehead.

"Honey, come over here. This is Tyler. The one I told you about." Mom said dragging dad to where Tyler was.

"Nice to meet you Tyler." Dad said shaking hands with him.

"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Frost." Tyler said with a smile.

"Come on. Let's go to the dinning room." Mom said gesturing is to follow her.

After dinner, which was delicious, we talk to catch up. Plus mom and dad were interrogating Tyler.

"Sky, I heard about what happened with Max." Dad said while I frowned.

"Yeah. Apparently the whole town knows. Even Hiccup and Merida know, and they live in Scotland!!" I said while mom and dad laughed.

"Are you alright with everything?" Mom asked while I sighed.

"Yes, well except for the nightmares. Since the day I had the fight, I have had these really bad nightmares. Each night they keep getting worse." I said sadly while mom gave me a small smile.

"Have you thought about going to therapy with a physiologist?" Dad said which made me think.

"No not really. But it's a great idea. I think I will. To see if I get these nightmares to stop."

"Honey, I have a question." Mom asked.

"Sure, what is it?"

"What exactly happen with Max? You never told us. After graduation you just told us that you and Max broke up." She said and I took a deep breath.

"He cheated on me with Dawn. That isn't the whole story. Before I bumped to him in the cafe, I had bump into him in the grocery store. He told me he cheated on me because I cheated on him first. The truth is the day I was tutoring Nathan he saw us and he thought I was cheating on him. So he went and cheated on me." I said and my parents eye widen.

"I am sorry honey. I know how much you loved him." Mom said with a sad smile.

"You got that right. I loved him. Not anymore but if he didn't cheated on me, I never would have met Tyler." I said resting my head in Tyler's shoulder.

"That is true. Plus Tyler makes you happy. That is all we want. For our princess to be happy." Dad said smiling.

"Thanks daddy and mommy." I said with a big smile.

"She isn't our little girl anymore." Ma whispered to dad but I heard it.

"Nope she isn't. She is a full grown woman." Dad whispered back.

"Well tonight wasn't a total disaster." Was the first thing I heard when I walked out of the bathroom.

"My parents loved you." I said to Ty as I sat next to him on my bed.

"They probably loved Max too." Ty said.

"Nope. My parents took a while to warm up to him. But you crawled right into their heart." I said smiling.

"Yeah I guess I did." He said kissing my forehead.

"About what my dad said, do you think I should do it?" I said nervously.

"I think you should. Those nightmares are getting worse. Plus they don't let you sleep much." Ty said looking me in the eyes.

Tyler had emerald green eyes. Those eyes made me crazy. I easily got lost in them. Plus his smile always made me smile. The way he cared about me. Everything about him was almost perfect.

"Yeah I guess I should. I will check tomorrow." I whispered since we had gotten really close.

"You should try and get some sleep." He whispered while I nodded.

"Good night, Tyler."

"Goodnight, Skylar." He said and closed the gap between us.

After the kiss, he kissed me and the forehead and went to his own bed. I got under the covers and turned of the light. I went to sleep right after but I knew it wouldn't last long.
