Skylar's Pov:

"Come on Tyler!! It's just ice skating." I said pulling the hand of my fellow friend.
After I met him at the restaurant, Tyler and I have been hanging out a lot.

"You now I don't know how." He said gripping the handle of the entrance to the arena.

Last time we went to the movies like he wanted so it was my turn to choose. Obviously I choose ice skating, my passion.

"I will help. I promise. Now Tyler, do you trust me?" I asked extending my hand.

He looked at my hand and then at my face before talking my small hand in his. This sent electricity up my body but I ignored it.

"Yes, I trust you." He said with a small smile. I blush crept up to my cheeks.

"Come on. First thing is your balance." After a couple of tries he was getting the hang of it.

After an hour I finally managed to get him to ice skate but he never let my hand go. Not that I was complaining.

"How do you do this?" He asked as I did twirls in the ice while he barely could stand.

"I have been ice skating since I was 3. My brother almost dies in one. After that we stopped going." I said stopping remembering the incident.

"What happened? If you want to tell me." He quickly said while I smiled.

"It's okay. Jack took me and Emma to a lake. We didn't see that the ice was thin and when my sister started ice skating, the ice started to crack around her. Jack saved her but he fell. God, I thought I had lost him.  But I got him out. He was freezing cold but he survived. " I said while he nodded signaling that he was listening.

"Woah! That is harsh." He said.

"Yeah but that was a long time ago."

"When was it?" 

"The winter of our junior year. So I was 17. " I said while he nodded.

"Want to get ice cream?" He asked while I smiled.

"You read my mind." I said grabbing his hand ice skating toward the exit.

"He did what?!" Tyler asked.

"He ate all my chocolates so I almost killed him. He is fine though. I mean he is married and has a kid." I said taking a bite from my cone. It was cookies and cream my favorite which was also Tyler's favorite.

"Yeah. Elliot right?" He said while I nodded.

"I have to thank you. I have never had this fun since...." I trailed of not wanting to talk about it.

"Since?" He asked interested.

"My ex boyfriend." I whispered while his face changed.

"I am sensing something bad happen. You could tell me. I am your friend." For a reason I didn't like the word friend right now.

"Well, everything was fine. Till Finals. I was helping one of my best friends study and he asked me to go with him to his girlfriend's birthday. He saw us and thought I cheated on him."

"I am guessing he asked you about and when you told him the truth he didn't believe you?" Tyler asked while I shacked my head.

"He went an cheated on me with my worst enemy. I saw them kiss right before my eyes. I had no idea he had seen us that night. Till I bumped into him a couple of weeks ago. It hurt me to think that he actually thought I was that kind of girl. Tyler, am I that kind of girl?" I asked looking him straight in his emerald green eyes.

"No, you aren't that kind of girl. I have only known you a couple of weeks but you are an amazing girl, Sky. You love your family and friends to bits. I like that about you." When he said that last part I could feel my cheeks burn. Dammit me and my pale skin.

After we finished we exited the ice cream parlor.

"This was nice but next time it's my turn." He said while I giggled.

"I like your giggle." He said suddenly which made me blush even more.

"Thanks." I said while he looked confused.

"Why are you saying thanks?"

"You said you liked my giggle."

"I said that out loud?" He said rubbing the back of his neck while I nodded. Now it was his turn to blush.

"When shall we get together again? After all is your turn."

"Go on a date with me." He said making me looking at him since I was looking at the floor.

"What?" I whispered.

"Let me rephrase that, will you, Skylar, go on a date with me?" He said a bit nervous. I smiled at his nervousness I found it oddly  cute.

"Yes, Tyler. I would love to go on a date with you." I said kissing his cheek. Surprising him and me.

"See you tomorrow. I will pick you up at 7:30. Dress casual." He said and left, leaving me a blushing mess.

I walked towards Luna's house which wasn't far away. I knocked on the door, to opened by Ethan.

"Hello, Ethan. Where is Luna?" I said shoving past him.

"Yeah it's good to see you too." He said under his breath closing the door.

"Lu!!!" I screamed.

"I am in the living room!!!" I practically ran till I was in front of her. She was in her pjs and with a bowl of popcorn.

"I am so sorry on inturpting date night but I could wait to tell you." I said with a big smile.

"What is it?" Lu said wile Ethan sat beside her.

"Tyler asked me out!!!" I said jumping up and down.

"Wait, Cute and Adorable, Tyler?!" Lu said while I nodded.

"Wait a second, cute and adorable Tyler?" He said looking at Lu with a glare.

"What?! That is how Sky described him." She said while he wasn't so mad anymore.

"Tyler asked me out!! Can you believe it?!" Luna and Ethan were like my second parents.

"He seems like a nice guy. Plus you two have been texting each other nonstop." Ethan said like nothing while I looked at him.

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"Oh common on. Every time we are with you, you are looking at your phone giggling like crazy."

"I could be easily texting anyone else."

"Nah, I read that when girls giggle is because they are speaking with a boy." Ethan said while Lu looked at him.

"How do you know all of this?" Lu asked crossing her arms.

"I am just taking precautions. What if we have a girl? I need to be prepared to know when she is texting or speaking to a boy." Ethan said while I rolled my eyes.

"So I am like your Guinea pig?" I said taking popcorn from the bowl.

"Yes, basically." He said while I punched his shoulder.

"Mom!! Dad is using me like a Guinea pig!!" I said in a little girls voice.

"Ethan!! Stop using our little girl as a Guinea pig." Lu said while I smiled trying to hold my laughter.

"You two are impossible." He said shaking his head.

"Nothing is impossible." I said while he gave me a glare.

"Anyway, haven't you guys been going on dates already?" Lu asked while I shacked my head.

"No. They were friendly dates. Now we are going on a real date." I said.

"What is the difference?" Ethan asked.

"Listen up future father because I ain't going to repeat myself."

"Okay."

"A friendly date would be like if I asked you to go to the ice cream parlor which by the way will never happen. A really date is when you ask Luna to go to the ice cream parlor with you. To go on a really date feelings have to be involved." I said.

"Thank you for assisting Dating 101." Lu said making me chuckle.

"So friendly dates is no feelings involved and really date is feelings involved. I think I got this." Ethan said.

"Sure you do honey." Lu said placing her hand on his shoulder.

"Wait does that mean you like Tyler?" Ethan said  startling me.

"Yeah, do you?" Lu asked.

"Yeah. I never felt this way before. Not after the whole Max incident. Tyler make me happy again." I said smiling.

"Aw!! Ethan our baby is growing." Lu said wiping a fake tear.

"I know." Ethan said.

"Lu you are helping me with my outfit right?"

"Girl, are you even asking that. We should invite Halley over."

"Yeah, anyway I have to go. I will leave you guys with your date night."

"Bye." They both said as I walked to the door.

"Bye." I said exiting.

"Nope. Not that one." Halley said throwing the outfit somewhere.

"How about this one." Lu said talking out a short sleeve blue shirt with a black leather jacket, black skinning jeans and black boots.

"Yeah. That is the one!!" Halley said.

"Okay, Sky put it on." Lu said handing me the outfit.

After I dressed up, the sat me in front of Lu's vanity.

"Let's get started." Lu said while Halley nodded.

They applied dark blue eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, pink blush and red lipstick. For my hair the let it go wavy.

"Done!!" They said as the turned my chair for me to look at myself.

"Thanks guys." I said hugging them.

"Your welcome." They said just as we heard a knock on the door.

"Sky!! Tyler is here." I heard Ethan scream.

"Coming." I screamed back.

"See you girls." I said hugging them.

"Call us after the date and tell us everything." They said and I nodded already exiting the room.

I walked down the stairs to see Tyler talking with Ethan. They notice my presence once I was in front of them.

"Wow, you look beautiful." Tyler said making me blush.

"Thanks. You don't look so bad yourself." I said with a small smile.

He was wearing a black shirt with dark blue jeans and his sneakers.

"Bring her back by 11:00." Ethan said like he was my father.

"Ethan!!" I said laughing while he smiled.

"Will do." He said while he extended his hand.

"Have fun!!" Ethan said as we left.

He opened the door for me like a true gentleman. After we got in he started to drive somewhere.

"We are we going?"

"It's a surprise." I sighed defeated. After 5 minutes we arrived somewhere. When I looked outside we were in the park.

Since it was dark the only thing light source was the moon and the stars.

"We are having a picnic." He said helping me out of the car.

"Wow!" I said staring at what the picnic. There were candles and a rose in the middle.

"I know it isn't much but..." I cut him off.

"Is the nicest thing anyone has done for me." I said smiling at him which he returned.

"Shall we eat?"

"We shall." I said taking his extended hand.

After we talked and talked, Tyler decided to walk me home instead of taking his car.

"So do you like puppies?" He asked.

"I love puppies. I wish I could have had one but Emma is allergic to them so it was a big no. Why?" I asked.

"I have one. His name is Oreo." He said while I smiled.

"He sounds cute. Hope I can meet him soon." I said smiling.

"Yeah. How about tomorrow, if you aren't busy." He said quickly.

"Sure." I said. We had reached Lu and Ethan's house.

"I had an amazing time. I guess I will see you tomorrow." He said rubbing the back of his neck before turning around.

"Tyler, Wait." I said while he turned around.

"What?" He said but didn't receive an answer. I grabbed his shirt and pulled his lips towards mine. At first he was shock but then he kissed back.

My arms went around his neck while his wrapped around my waist. After pulling away, I rested my forehead on his.

"Goodnight, Tyler." I said and gave him a quick kiss before entering the house.

"Whoa!" I heard him say before I closed the door.

"What just happened?" Ethan said while a jumping Lu was beside him.

"You kissed!!!" Lu said well more like screamed and came to hug me.

"Yeah, I guess we did." I said still processing what had happen.

"I am watching you young lady but I am glad you had fun." Ethan said while I ran and hugged him.

"You will be an amazing dad. Now if you don't mind, I will be going to the spare room." I said walking up the stairs to the room I use to sleep.

After changing into my pjs, I texted Halley how the date went. I plugged my phone into the charger before turning off the lights. I got comfy and rested my head.

I slept dreaming about the amazing date that I had with Tyler.
