Skylar's Pov:

School started again. Man!!!!! I don't hate school but I don't love it either. I was walking towards my locker when a girl with brown hair and sky-blue eyes stopped me.

"Hello, my name is Dawn Miller. I just moved here."

"Hello, my name is Skylar Frost. Nice to meet you."

"Dawn?! Omg, what are you doing here?" I heard someone say and passed by me to hug her. When I saw dark ocean blue eyes, I knew who it was.

"Hey Skylar, I see you met Dawn."

"Yeah..." I said looking at him, since he is still side hugging her. Something in me started to boil. What is this feeling?

"Good, cause Dawn was my best friend growing up and I want my best friend and girlfriend to get along. " He said kissing my cheek. I turned to open my locker.

"Max, we have to hurry up, or we will be late for class." When I turned around he wasn't there. That is weird, he never ditches me. We always go to class together. I closed my locker and walked towards Jack's locker. I found him there talking with Elsa.

"Hey guys. Have you seen, Max?" I asked

"Yeah. He entered the class with another girl like 3 minutes ago." Elsa said. Ouch!!!! Why did that hurt in my heart? I completely understand. I mean he hasn't seen his best friend in a long time.

"Thanks." I said whispering and walking towards class. When I entered, I sat beside Luna who was talking to Ethan that was at her side. When she saw me, she turned around.

"Hey Sky, Why the long face?" she asked worried.

"Nothing, I am fine." i said not looking at her. She was going to say something but the teacher came in. I didn't listening what the teacher was saying at all. The bell rang and I stood up and walked to my next class.

-Time skip to the end of the school-

I have been alone all day. My boyfriend is somewhere with his best friend and he doesn't have the decency to tell me where he is. At least we have a date tonight. I walked towards Jack's car and waited for him and Elsa there. I was looking at the clouds when I heard laughing. When I looked to where it came from, I saw Dawn and Max. Dawn looked at me and smiled innocently and then dragged him away. There is the feeling again when I saw her take his hand. I am being ridiculous. I heard talking and saw Jack and Elsa. I had a hurt face on and Jack noticed it cause he looked at me worried.

"Hey Sky, are you okay?" he asked. I shaked my head saying 'no'. He hugged me and I hugged back. This feels so much better. I pulled away and he looked me straight in the eye.

"A hug is exactly what I needed."

"Good that you are feeling better." I only nodded and he opened the door for Elsa and me. I got in the backseat and Elsa in passenger seat. The whole car ride was silent till my phone buzzed. I unlocked it and saw that it was a message from Max.

-Text Conversation-

Max: Skylar I can't go on our date today.

Skylar: Why?

Max: Dawn and I are catching up. Plus mom invited her to dinner.

Skylar: You took her to your house?

Max: Yeah, she needed to meet my mom.

Skylar: Sure, we can postpone our date for next time.

Max: Thanks, I will make it up. Talk to you later.

Skylar: Yeah, later.

-End of Conversation-

My vision was blinded by my tears but I shaked my head to shake them away. So what, she met his parents first than I did. He postponed our date to spend the night with her. Calm down Sky. I breath in and breath out. We got home and I got out of the car first. I opened the door with my key and dad is in the living room.

"Hey dad."

"Hi honey." I went up the stairs and into my room. I slammed the door close. I threw my self in the bed and stared at the ceiling. I just need to relax.

~Next Day~

I was in my locker getting my stuff when I hear voices. When I turned around I saw Max leaning against a locker talking with Dawn, who was getting her stuff from the locker. He should be talking to me not her, I am his girlfriend. What?!!! I am crazy. I sound like one possessive girlfriend. Just let him talk to his best friend. I grabbed my stuff and looked at my watch. I still got 15 minutes till class. I went to a tree in the back part of the school. I grabbed a book from my backpack and started to read.

"Hey, are you alone?" I looked up to see someone I thought I would never see.

"Nathan?!!!! How are you and what are you doing here?" I said hugging him.

"Well, my mom decided to move here and I am fine. What about you?"

"I am fine, Want to see Jack?"

"Sure."

"Come on." I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards Jack's locker.

"JACK!!!!" I screamed and he turned to see me pulling Nathan. When I stopped I we were out of breath.

"Bro, what are you doing here?" Jack asked bro hugging him.

"I move here."

"Really? That's awesome."

"Yeah and who is this?" He asked looking at Elsa

"Oh, Nathan, this is Elsa, my girlfriend. Elsa, this is Nathan, my best friend from my old home town."

"Nice to meet you, Nathan."

"Nice to meet you, Elsa."

"Come on we better go to class." I grabbed his hand and dragged him to class. When I got there there were two empty seats beside Luna. I sat down and Nathan sat next to me.

"Luna, this is Nathan. Nathan, this is Luna."

"Nice to meet you." I was catching up with Nathan when somebody entered the classroom. When I looked I saw Max with his hands around Dawn's waist and kissing her cheek while she was laughing. Right there, I hear my heart crumble to pieces.

Sorry i haven't update in a long time. I was spending time with family so they didn't let me use electronics but better late then never. Well hope you all have a new Year!!! Hope you enjoy it!!!!
