To everyone that feels like they're falling behind,

To everyone that feels like they don't have what it takes,

Everything you need is already in you.

You already have what's going to help you achieve your dreams.

I know it doesn't feel like it.

You feel like you need more time. More money. Greater resources. Deeper connections, and so on...

I won't say that those factors won't help.

But do not let them lead you to the false conclusion that you are failing. That you are on the wrong path or incapable of what you desire.

Maybe you would bake with greater ease if you had that high-end stove.

But the state of your equipment does not change your talent as a baker.

It is not the bowls, mixers, or refrigerator,

It's the ingredients you choose and your own hands that make the difference.

The same can be said for everything else if your life.

My talents in the kitchen are quite lacking, but I am perfectly capable of baking the metaphorical cake we're discussing. As are you.

Because everything you need is already ingrained in you.

You have the most important ingredients.

Ingredients that no one can truly steal from you.

You're working on the recipe.

You're gathering your ingredients and mixing bowls.

Give it time.

Some recipes require a little more time in the oven.

Some recipes need to be edited before reaching their maximal potential.

Be patient.

There's already a quality in you,

The most natural trait that distinguishes your personality,

That will be responsible for the achievements of your goals.

Whether that trait be determination, intelligence, resilience, organization, etc.,

You already have what it takes to make your dreams come true.

It's only a matter of adding to it.

A matter of refining it.

A matter of embracing trial and error,

And patiently waiting for the oven's alarm to go off.
