Y/N'S POV~

Today was the day Tae was bringing his friends over to meet me and what could I say, I was super excited. I'm not sure if it's strange to be this excited but it just felt nice knowing he wasn't embarrassed about living with me or whatever. I was definitely looking forward to this.

"The guys will be here any minute." Tae says, appearing from his bedroom with Tannie following close behind. "If they make you uncomfortable at all just let me know or even feel free to cuss them out. They can be a bit much so I'll understand." Tae laughs as he turns and gives me a soft smile.

"Okay, yeah, will do." I say even though I knew I wouldn't actually be able to do that. I didn't want to do anything that may cause them to not feel comfortable or never want to come back again.

After a few minutes, there was a knock on the door and Tae hurried over to get it. Within a few seconds, there was six other guys standing in our living room, each of them wearing a different expression on their face.

"Guys, this is y/n, my roommate." Tae says straight off the bat as he points in my direction. "It's nice to meet you! We didn't officially get to meet but I saw you the day we moved everything in. I'm Jin." One of them says and I recognize him instantly from that day.

"I was there too!" Another one chimes in as he gives me a nod, his earrings jingling as he did so. "I'm Jungkook by the way."

I listened as each of them told me their name until we were all fully aquatinted. "See, now you all met. Feel free to leave any time now." Tae says and I couldn't tell if he was being serious or joking but judging by the guys reactions, I could tell they didn't plan on leaving just yet.

"Oh Tae, same old same old with you, huh. Stop being greedy. We want to get to know Y/n too." The one named Hoseok says as he steps forwards with a smile. "Y/n, you want us to stay longer right?"

"Of course!" I say, sending a smile in each of their directions.  Just as I go to speak, Tae does. "Can I have a word with you?" He asks me but doesn't give me a chance to respond as he starts to usher me off to the side.

"What's wrong?" I ask, assuming he had already gotten sick of letting me in a little to his life. "Don't mention anything about my work, alright? They don't know and I'd like to keep it that way."

I watched his face for a moment and I could of swore it almost seemed as if he were nervous. Desperate for me not to say anything. "Yeah, of course." I say and he seems to relax as he nods before backing away, both of us returning to his friends.

"I'm really just dying to know what it's like for you living with our Tae-hyungie. He doesn't keep you up with his snoring does he?" Jungkook asks with a cheeky grin, causing Tae to glare in his direction. He shot back, "I don't snore!"

I laugh, shaking my head at their bickering. "It's been great so far, honestly. He's a pretty cool guy." I say and I see a few of them smile.

"He definitely is! I'm glad you like him. I was worried he'd be stuck with someone mean but you seem great." The shorter guy named Jimin says, flashing the cutest smile ever. This guy is adorable. Well, they're all adorable honestly. I had never seen this many hot friends and it was shocking to say the least.

"I try my best." I laugh, shifting from one foot to the other. "You guys seem awesome too. Tae is lucky to have friends like you guys." I say and from the corner of my eye I see him smile at my words. The guys must have noticed because they started to tease Tae for his reaction.

As I watched them all messing with him, it made me feel many different emotions. Mostly happy because it was nice seeing that he had so many friends that cared about him, and sad because I didn't have that.

Of course I have Maxx but she's usually busy with her boyfriend and aside from her, I don't have very many friends. Not ones I'm super close with anyway. I didn't have anyone like these guys, and that made me envious.

"Let's sit down and talk. I'm sure we've got lots of things to learn about Tae's roommate." Namjoon says, smiling down at me. He was very tall. We all walk towards the couch, Yoongi leaning down to pick up Tannie as we all sat.

For the next few hours, we all sat around pretty much just learning some basics things about each other, nothing too special. Then at one point, it got a little more, personal.

"So y/n, now that I feel as if we know each other on a deeper level and I feel comfortable enough to ask, do you have a boyfriend? Or a girlfriend? We don't judge!" Jin grins, leaning forward eagerly.

I look around as seven sets of eyes land on me, waiting for my answer. "Nope, no one like that." I say, laughing awkwardly. It was always a bit strange to talk about how no one wanted me, ya feel.

"Oh that's too bad, you're so cute I really thought you would." Jin says and I can't help but to feel flustered at his bluntness.

"Stop being weird." I hear Tae mumble under his breath and Jin makes a face in his direction. "I'm not being weird, it's the truth! You even said it yourself man so don't make me out to be the weird one." Jin says and I was a bit taken back by that. The last thing I had expected was for Tae to think I was cute.

I didn't say anything as I hear Tae clear his throat before he changed the subject, ignoring what Jin had said. No one else seemed to bring it up either.

As we all continued to talk about random things, I couldn't help but to think back on what Jin had said. I wondered if he was just messing with Tae again or if he had actually said that. Either way, it made me smile.

What can I say, when an extremely hot guy thinks you're cute, it's definitely a good feeling. So therefore, I'd let my ego be boosted just for a little bit.

Eventually, the guys said their goodbyes and headed out for the night, promising to come back again soon. Then it was just Tae and I alone once again.

As Tae shut the door, he stood there for a moment before he turned to face me. "Sorry about them, like I said, they can be a lot sometimes. I hope they didn't bother you too much."

I smile. "Not at all, I like them. They're really nice. They can come over whenever they'd like." Tae nods as he starts to head towards his room.

Just as he goes to reach for the handle, he stops and turns to look at me. "Thanks for not saying anything about my job, I appreciate it."

"Of course, no problem." I say and Tae smiles slightly as he turns to face the door again. The last thing he says before he disappears into his room is,

"You know, you're a really awesome girl, y/n. I'm glad to have you as my roommate."

And with that, I was alone once again.

A/n: Sorry for not updating as frequently as I usually do. I've just been feeling very yucky lately in terms of my mental health to the point that it's causing my physical health to suck too. So updating is really the last thing on my mind most of the time! I'll update when I can but it probably won't be everyday (:! Hope you guys understand 🧡
