Summer's POV

I hate being alone yet sometimes I love it. I get up and try to get ready for school but I feel horrible because I don't want people to see the bruises and cuts I wear long sleeves and pants since the dress code is gone

I go downstairs to see a empty house like it alwaya is except I do have a corgi named Georgie. She sometimes makes me happy. I close the door and walk to school even though it's hard sometimes being outside can lighten a person's day. I get to school and put my stuff in my locker than some of the people I hate the most come up to me Jada and Kale they both bully me that's where some of the bruises come from.

They both punch me and leave. I go to the bathroom and take out a blade that has to much blood on it.

I clean my arm off and head to Mr.Finns classroom. There I am greeted by my friends Tomika,Zack,Lawerence,and Freddy.

Z- Why are you wearing winter clothes when it's almost 90 degrees
S- I felt like it and I always get chills in this class room

I walked over to the table because I don't eat. They come back with food.
L- Arent you gonna eat it's spaghetti day
S- Im not hungry and after the last time there was spaghetti please don't sit by me
T- Whats up with you, you haven't eaten all week
S- I keep having a big breakfast
F- I don't believe you
S- Well you should because it's true do you believe me now
F- Nope but I will leave you alone

F- Hey summer do you want me to walk you home
S- No thanks
F- (walks forward)
S- where are you going
F- I'm walking you home

F- Dont care
S- (groans) Fine
I don't want him to walk me home because I feel that my cousin is gonna be there but I hope I can distract him.
F- Summer are you ok
S- Im fine even though you didn't have to thank you for walking me home
F- No problem what are friends for
S- they are here to annoy you
F- Hey
S- (giggles) Thanks anyway but now I'm walking you home

S- Your home we are here I'm only a few houses down I can make it

I push Freddy inside his house
S- Bye Freddy see you tomorrow

S- (Slams door) BYE!!
I can't show him where I live that's why I did that. I walk the rest of the way home and thank God my cousin wasn't home and great I have a text from the one and only Kale.

I turn off my phone and cut myself 10 times 5 on each arm but this time deeper. I cry and go to take a shower it's the only thing that calms me down. My life has a horrible back story that no one knows except me and my parents and a girl I used to know who is apart of it.
I get out of the shower and put on my pajamas
