Scarlets pov.

The bell rang and I walked over to the art room. I opened the door and saw everybody left. I looked at the sign up sheet and my eyes widen when I saw someone wrote my name on the sign up sheet. I ran out and went to the front of the school. I saw my brother. I got in the car and buckled up.

"So ready to go to the studio? " he asked.

"I guess. " I said.

Time skips...

We got to the studio and we got out of the car.

"Alright sis let's go. " he said and we walked inside.

When we walked in everybody stared at us. Well more like at me. We walked threw and into an office. A lady followed and kept staring at Blake.

"Hi Blake back already the boss will be here in a bit. " she said making gogo eyes at Blake.

"Hey Beth and thank you. " my brother said and I cleared my throat.

"Rude much I'm here too. " I mumbled and she gave me a stink eye I stuck my tounge out at her.

"Scarlet. " he said.

"What?  That old hag started it. " I said.

"Scarlet be nice. " he said and she left.

"Well she shouldn't like you all because of your looks. " I said crossed my arms and sat down.

"Oh are you jealous. " he said.

"Heck no I'm only trying to look out for you. I know girls because I am one only go for the looks now a days. " I said.

"Like you? " he said.

"I don't like anybody. " I said and looked at the pictures on the desk.

My eyes widen when I saw a picture of Jake. I looked at the man and Jake they looked a bit similar and the lady looks so nice.

"Oh here is the new trending model, Singer and actor. " a man said.

"Hey Mr. Hoffman this is my little sister Scarlet. " he said.

"Well hello there Scarlet I am Mr. Hoffman. " the man said.

"Hi Mr. Hoffman. " I said and heard the door open.

"Hey dad. " I heard a voice say I turned and saw Jake.

"Jake? " I asked.

"Scarlet? " he asked.

"You two know each other? " his dad asked.

"Yes we do sir we go to school together and we are partners in every class we have together which is all of them. " I said looked away from Jake and back at his father.

"Alright then! Let's see if you have as much talent as your brother. " Jake's father said.

"On trust me I heard Scarlet sing she is really good, I even signed her up for the talent show. " Jake said and I stood up.

"That was you! " I shouted at him.

"Yep. " he said with a smile and I looked at my phone.

"I have to go. " I said and ran out the door until Blake stopped me.

"Sis where are you going? " he asked.

"I have to finish my science project that I have to do with him. " I said and ran out.

Jake's pov.

We all saw as Scarlet ran out the door. She must really care about her grades then. Me and my father looked at Blake.

"Sorry sir it's just that my sister really cares about her grades it's been her thing ever since I can remember. So sorry maybe another day when she doesn't have a project due. " Blake said and went after Scarlet.

"So Jake that girl. " he said.

"Yea what about her? " I asked.

"I don't know what do you think of her? " he asked.

"Well... " I was cut off.

"I hope you don't do the same thing to her as the girls before. " he said and Scarlet came back in looking for something.

"Sorry to barge in sir but I'm looking for something I left behind. " she said really worried.

"Don't worry about it and look for whatever your looking for. " my father said.

"Hey Scarlet how much of our science project have you done? " I asked and she didn't look at me.

"None because I've been very busy but I only have 6 days left to finish. And I tend to do my project before I need to turn it in and bit at the very last minute. " she said and got jumped up very happy when she found the thing she was looking for.

"Hahaha, I like her. " my father said and she smiled.

"Oh Jake did you tell your father about your English project? " she asked.

"W... " I was cut off again.

"What English project?  Jake didn't tell me about any English project. " my father said.

"Oh well we have to bring someone from our family and introduce them and the family member we brought will do the rest. " she said.

"Exactly how the teacher said but in your own words. " I said.

"Mr. Hoffman. " a lady said and gave Scarlet a death stare.

"Hey why are you staring at her like that?! " I said to the lady and she quickly stopped looking at Scarlet.

"Oh hello there Jake. " she said.

"Wait a minute those are the same eyes you made at my brother now your doing them to him. Wow I was right you do only go for looks no matter how old they are. " Scarlet said and the lady looked at her with another death stare.

"No I don't! " she shouted at Scarlet.

"Oh then your probably a gold digger and you also go for looks that's messed up. " Scarlet said.

"Why don't you just shut up?! " she asked.

"Well first off I was only protecting my brother because I know how girls like you are. And second I'm only showing people who you really are so they don't make a mistake and go out with you. But now that I came here and found what I needed I'll be on my way. " Scarlet said and left.

"Wow, she's good Jake is she your girlfriend? " my father asked and the lady looked at Scarlet leave with a death stare.

"No, but I hope she will be one day. " I said and smiled.

"Now let's go home your mother is probably waiting for us to eat. " my father said.

"Alright. " I said and walked out with my father.

We got in the car and the driver started to drive.

"Now Scarlet seems like a very nice girl you promise me you won't do the same thing to her that you did to those other girls. " he said.

"Yes dad when I see her my day is instantly a miracle and when she smiles it brightens my day. But I don't think she feels the same towards me. " I said and looked out the window.

"If I may say son I've never seen you like this over a girl. When you were with someone you really didn't care about them. " he said.

"I don't know why dad but it just happened she has a little demon or devil in here but she hardly let's it out. One of her friends begged my to go out with her. Scarlet saw and she got mad that her friend was begging me to go out with her. That little demon or devil came out kicked me hard and threatened me. She has stood up to me and no body has done that. Ever since they heard of my reputation. " I said.

"Wow you never told me anybody doing that to you before. To tell you the truth I think she has brought out your little angel in you I haven't seen since you were 5. " he said and we got to the house.

We walked out of the car and into the house.

"She's different dad. Didn't you see how she was able to look threw that lady that works for you. She knew what kind of person she was and told us. She does an assignment once it's given to us and she looks everything over. That's what my friends have told me about her. " I said.

"Oh I have never heard of anybody in your school like that. " he said and we sat down at the table.

"Plus I don't think she wants anybody except us to know that Blake is her brother. " I said.

"And why is that she can be popular for that. " he said.

"She doesn't care about popularity even though everybody knows her because of how kind she is. Plus I think she wants people to like her for who she is not because of who her family is. " I said saw the plate of food in front of me and started to eat.

"Who are you two talking about? " my mother said.

"Hi mom. " I said and kept eating.

"Darling you won't believe it our son is head over heels for someone. " he said.

"Dad... " I was cut off by my moms 'awh's'.

"I can't believe it I have to meet her. " she said.

"I already met her. And let me tell you something she is different from all of Jake's girlfriends. " he said.

"I can see because he hasn't gone up to his room right now or gotten into trouble. " she said.

Yep those are my parents. Two of the nicest people in the world. My father a music producer. And you can never forget my mother a designer and model. Both very well known and then you have me. A guy that doesn't know what he has done with his life. That is working for the government with a girl that almost killed me. I am the opposite of my parents. Speaking of my partner. I need to know who she is. That is for another day. Right now let me feel my joy again. A feeling I haven't felt ever since I was 5.
