Scarlets pov.

Next day...

"Sis wake up your going to be late. " Blake said.

"Fine... " I got up and changed. I brushed my hair, put on my socks along with my shoes and did the rest if my morning rutin then went downstairs.

"Are you ready for school? " he asked.

"Yep. " I said.

"Do you have money for lunch? " he asked.

"Yes. " I said.

"Alright let's go. " he said and got in the car, I followed.

Time skips...

"Alright we're here. " I said.

"Okay I'll remember so I can pick you up. What time do you get out of school? " he asked.

"Oh around 3 " i said.

"Alright then. " he said and I got off. I waved him good bye and he left.

I saw Bella and walked towards her. She walked back towards me looking sad.

"Hey, what's wrong? " I asked.

"I feel bad for Yumi. " she said.

"Wait, what happened to Yumi? "  I asked and looks at Bella confused yet worried.

"Jake rejected her before she even asked him. " she said.

"He did what? " I asked even though I heard her the first time. I was pissed you don't reject my friend.

"Hey, Scarlet are you okay?  I've never seen you like this. " she said.

"Where is Yumi? " I asked.

"Come here she's still talking to him by the locker room. " she said grabbed my arm and we both ran to the locker room.

I saw the worst sight I can ever see. One of my best friends kneeling on the floor over a guy. I walked over there and picked Yumi up. I looked at Jake and he raised an eyebrow at me.

"You two walk to first period I'll catch up. " I said giving Jake a death stare.

"But... " I cut Bella off.

"Go I need to talk to Jake. " I said and I saw them leave I looked back at Jake and he gave me a smile.

"You ruined my fun. " he said with a smirk.

"Listen here shit head the next time I see one of my friends like this over you I will end you. " I said and walked away only for him to grab my arm and pull me closer to him.

"Oh you like me too. " he said I kicked his leg hard and he fell, I bent down to his leave.

"Consider that a warning. " I said giving him a death stare and walking off.

I got to my first period and saw every girl was bummed. It was because of him Jake. I sat down in my seat and the bell rang. The teacher came in and I looked down to roll my eyes.

"Alright class it is the second day of school but you must do a project. " he said everybody sighed and the door opened just to see Jake.

"Jake your late. " the teacher said.

"You should be happy I didn't ditch this dumb class. " he said.

"Alright fine. To your seat. " the teacher said and Jake walked next to me.

"Alright everybody look at your partner. " he said and everybody looked at their partner. I gave Jake a death stare and he just smiled at me.

"Now this project will be done with your partner. So you two will go to each others houses. Both of you plan who's house to go to. " he said and everybody started talking.

"Tch, I'm not letting you in my house." I said.

"Fine then we can go to mine. " he said.

"If I go to your house I will be putting my life in danger. " I said.

"Fine then your house you don't want me in your house so how about we stay outside your house. " he said I looked at him.

"Fine only because I'm safe at my house. " I said.

"Then it's settled. " he said.

"Whatever. " I said and rolled my eyes.

"Alright now for this project you have to read a book or use the internet for research. " he said and Jake raised his hand.

"Yes, Jake? " the teacher said confused.

"What if our partner looks like she's poor and doesn't have a computer or anything? " he said.

"Hey I am not poor. " I said acting shy and sweet.

"Hey leave Scarlet alone. She is the sweetest and shyest girl we all know. So you have no reason to say stuff like that about her. " a kid said defending me and I acted sad so I looked down at the floor.

"She is not sweet or shy a couple minutes ago she kicked me on the leg and threatened me. " Jake said.

"You have the wrong girl because she will never do something like that. " a girl said.

"Alright class stop and let's get back to the project. " everyone looked back at the teacher and I looked at Jake only to see him give me a death stare.

I gave him a smile. And looked at the teacher.

"Now of you all look at the back you can either do this project about the DNA, human body or plant/animal cells. " he said and everybody looked bored to death.

"Now talk to your partner about what you two are going to do. " he said and everybody started to talk to their partners.

"Don't think this is over. " he whispered to me.

"Oh trust me it is. " I said.

"N... " I cut him off.

"I say we do our project on the DNA. " I said.

"Tch, I don't care as long as we get it over with. " he said and the phone rang.

The teacher picked it up and looked at me. He hanged up the phone.

"Scarlet take your stuff and head to the main office some people are here to talk to you. " he said I got my stuff and walked out.

I went to the office and saw my brother. I gave him a smile.

"Blake, what's going on and what are you doing here? " I asked him.

"Oh I came to tell them that you live with me now. " he said.

"Oh so like changing the emergency card and all that. " I said.

"Yep. Oh what class were you in and what were you doing?" he said and started filling out the paper work.

"Oh I was in science don't worry about it, it was just about a project but I know everything that I need. " I said and saw that he finished filling out the paper work.

"Okay see you later. " he said and hugged me.

"Okay. " we both left the office and went our separate ways. I got back to class and sat back down.

"Heres the paper for the project." Jake said and handed me the paper.

"Why don't you hold onto it? " I asked him.

"Because I don't care about this so here. " he threw the paper at me and the teacher did nothing.

"Hey stop being mean to Scarlet can't you just hold onto one piece of paper in your backpack! " a kid shouted.

"Listen here she's my partner and I don't care what you all think of her. I have a different view of her. So unless you don't want me to end you then I suggest you all shut up and let me do what I want! " he said and everybody gulped.

"Hey you can't yell at them. " I said.

"Oh now you want to talk. " he said.

"I am shy and sweet but what gives people like you the right to I be mean to everybody. " I said softly trying not to show everybody me other side.

"I'll tell you the right when we get to your house. " he said.

"Oh my gosh! We aren't going to see Scarlet anymore! " a girl said.

"Oh don't worry about me. " I said and we all went to our next class.
