This happened to my aunt and uncle a long time ago.

It was really dark and they were on their home from a park, As they were walking there was this big dog with red eyes blocking their path. They tried to scare it and it didn't move. They started throwing rocks at it, but the rocks went through it and when they saw this they got scared and went back from where they came from and took the long way home.
