You text Joo, deciding to start with a normal 'hi', afraid he'll worry about you.

You: Hiiii 

You wait with your front on the bed, legs swinging as you grow impatient for a reply. After about 2 minutes your phone goes 'ding', signalling a new message.

Joo-sy: sunnyyyyyyy... did u eat?

You: yeah... thanx for dat again

You hesitated but settled to say it anyway.

You: i miss u already jooooooo

Joo-sy: i miss u 2 gurl.... dont talk bout it.. DONT MAKE THIS SAD LETS TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE

You giggled.

Joo-sy: anyway, did riy have some pizza?

You: im not like u, of corse i gave some

Joo-sy: *course

You: watever 😒😒

Joo-sy: anyways... i packed about 3/4 of ma stuff

You: already?

Joo-sy: OH girllll i did more

You: wat r u already in Deagu?

Joo-sy: omg ur such an amazing guesser

You: SERIOUSLY!?1

Joo-sy: noooo, but i did go to dis thing, where, like, there was an administration office or smthn? idk

You: huh? an admin office smwhere else? wtf?

Joo-sy: i dont know wat u call it! it's next to our melody's.. dat um..teacher student costomer service smthn

You: anyway, so what?

Joo-sy: i think i saw the new teacher

You: wat new teacher

Joo-sy: u knowww, the one replacing me

You: oh. what's she like?

Joo-sy: the person's not a 'she'

You: oh.

Joo-sy: what's he like... um... i didnt talk 2 him

You: den how do u know it's him?

Joo-sy: i overheard

You: u eavesdropped

Joo-sy: nooooo... he was loud. he was talking to the lady at the desk, and he's like hes the new teacher at this melody's

You: i want u to come baaaack

Joo-sy: well... he looks good

You: that wont work on me

Joo-sy: no i mean it

You: sUrE

Joo-sy: i even took a pic wen he was getting out of the taxi to show you

You: WHAT how cud u ask him dat?

Joo-sy: i didnt ask him anything

You: no u didnt...

Joo-sy: o yes i did

You close your eyes. 

He is such a-

Your thoughts are interrupted as another 'ding' leaves your phone.

You stare intensely at the phone and then scream in your mind as you mentally flick Joo on the side of his head.

Joo-sy:

You stare at the picture.

Joo-sy: wELL?

You: well, his bag is nice

Joo-sy: SUNNY

You: okay, okayyy...

You scroll back up and examine the photo.

Your heart inexplicably starts beating in your rib cage as your eyes glide on his hair down to his hands. You could only see his thumb, but it seemed stupidly... seen before? You feel dumb for that thought even having crossed your mind.

But it did. And it disturbed you.

You didn't reply any of this.

You: his hair is captivating

Joo-sy: don't use your writing skills here, and that is some description... wat else?

You: if he did arrive here, that means ill see him tmrw... how bout i tell u then??

Joo-sy: kk

You spare a glance at the time on your phone. It's late.

You: i gtg... it's late and there is Melody's tmrw as well.

Joo-sy: okay... good night sunnyyy

You: 😂😂the oxymoron tho

Joo-sy: watever.. byeeee sweet dreams honeyyyyyyy

You: 😘😘

Joo-sy: 💜💜💜💜

You off your phone and keep it at your bedside table. You turn around and stare at the ceiling for a few seconds. Then, you cuddle your pillow and pull your duvet over you, the coldness of it engulfing you with comfort.

You let your eyes close, as the sounds of your own breathing surround you.
