Freinds
(Y/N) POV
We arrived at my house
"I know it doesn't look like much but it's better than being outside," I say
"This is fine," Abby says as I open my front door
"You're finally home!" My mom yells across the house as she checks up on me. Once she sees Abby she practically stops in her tracks.
"(Y/N), you amaze me every day," she says in a serious voice as I look at her nervously
"First you get suspended from school,"
"Then you bring someone over,"
"A girl no less," she finishes
"A cute one too!" She says all cheery again as she checks Abby out
"So, to which my Son owes this pleasure?" She asks as Abby looks a little unsettled
"He...helped me out," she says as Mom nods
"I see I see," she says as she begins to walk away
"I can grab condoms if you want," she whispers into my ear as I start blushing
"Are you crazy!" I whisper back as she laughs while she walks away.
"Sorry, my rooms this way," I say as I lead her to my room.
"She's energetic," Abby says
"It's not often I bring someone home...much less a cute girl," I say as the words just flow out of my mouth. I blush a quick moment and so does she
"Hand me your phone and I'll get to work on it," I say as she gives it to me. I start working on it as we converse
"So how do you know how to do stuff like this?" She asks
"YouTube....and my mom drops her phone every 2nd month," I say as she looks around
"Looks....kinda bare," She adds
"We don't have much money to spare on decorations," I say as I take her old phone screen off.
"And the new one goes on," I mutter as I continue
"Thanks for doing this," she says over my shoulder
"No problem, it's a hefty repair bill if you go to a store," I say as she nods.
It didn't take me much longer to completely fix her phone
"Thank you," she says as she turns it on and uses it a bit
Mom stuck her head in the room and looked at me
"Dinner is ready if you two want some," she says before popping back out
I look at the clock and it's alrighty 5.
"How much longer until your brother is home?" I ask as she thinks
"Another hour or so," she says
"Ok, I guess you can have dinner here," I say as she gets flustered
"I'm good, I don't want to intrude any more than I already have," she says
"It's fine, I'm sure she made some for you anyway," I say as I get her to walk to the kitchen table. Two plates wait for us as Mom already has her own
"Come on, have a seat," She says as we sit down. We started eating
"Thanks for making the food," Abby says as Mom shrugs it off
"It's not often we have visitors...especially for (Y/N)," She says as I roll my eyes
"And must I say you look adorable," She says as Abby blushes
"Thank you, the food is good," Abby says as Mom gives a nod of approval
"I hope he isn't being too much of a pain in your side...he's always getting into trouble," Mom says referring to me as Abby laughs a bit
"He is anything but...I was surprised when he kicked the girl's bathroom door down," she says as Mom blushes
"You weren't in there right?" Mom asks hoping that she wasn't
"I was, " Abby says as Moms's head looks toward the sky
"I must apologize then for his caveman approach," she says as I look at her
"Caveman...seriously," I say as she laughs
"You may as well be...your a brute for kicking a girls bathroom door in," She says as I defend myself
"I had a reason," I mutter as my mom nods
"If you want to peak just open the door," she says as I blush
"It wasn't for that reason," I say as my mom ignores me and we finish eating
"Thanks for having me over," Abby says as she is about to leave
"Bye," I say as she leaves
"Bye!" Mom yells from the kitchen. I walk toward to help with the dishes
"What are you doing here. Walk her home!" Mom scolds me as I follow her directions. I grab my coat and shoes and chase after Abby
"Abby!" I call out to her as she stops
"Did I forget something?" She asks as I shake my head
"I figured it's a little dark out for you to be walking home alone," I say as she nods and we start walking
"Your moms a nice person," she says
"She gets overboard sometimes," I say as she chuckles
"It was fun though...the most fun I had in a while," she adds as we walk
"Thanks for helping back there," she thanks me again...she's awfully apologetic
"It's fine...the least I can do," I add as we stop
"My house is here..ill see you later," she says
She stops before she opens the door
"You think we could be friends?" she asks
"of course," I tell her as she smiles a bit before she disappears into the house
"Cya," I mutter to myself as I start walking back home
What a day....what a day
