I sighed and crossed my elbows on my chest, unsatisfied of the result. I bent down and did some more scribbling on the messy paper. I picked it up and looked at it for a few second before shaking my head in disapproval and starting on the next page.

I can't even figure out the design of the gadget, what am I supposed to enter the contest with ?

'Did I make the right choice ? I mean, I am not the best when it comes to making support items. Heck, I suck at this.'

My door made a creaking noise indicate someone came inside. I looked towards the door only to see my best friend aka my roommate, Hikari Aikawa. Her raven eyes had a shimmer in them. They held glints of amusement in them. She came towards me and showed me a picture.

'Deku, symbol of peace saved the day again.'

I sighed and turned to face her. She looked at me and wiggled her eyesbrows. This girl is going to be the death of me.

Ever since I told her that I may have a small crush on this guy, she has been bugging me about it, without a break.

'He is a hero, he won't like someone like me. He has girls swooning over him.'

I shook my head to get rid of these thoughts and signalled my best friend to leave the room and she did but not before giving me an eye roll. I decided to get on work.

I have drawn twenty designs till now. None of them are perfect and up to my expectations. I am in support course and this course needs creativity. I don't have it.

'Why am I even in this course !? Oh right, I failed to get in the hero course with my quirk. Yes.'

My quirk is 'spot'. It's not exactly a very useful quirk. My quirk allows me to recognise the person's identity, the drawback is that I need to make physical contact to activate my quirk.

My quirk makes me see the name, age and quirk of everyone I make contact with. It's not just for a human though, I can touch an object and know how old the thing really is and what's the use.

If I overuse my quirk, I end up getting dizzy. Sometimes, I faint. The worst part is the bleeding that I have to deal with, due to overusing my quirk.

I groaned as I opened my eyes to find myself sleeping on my bed with a blanket wrapped around me like a burrito. I got out of the bed to see my table littered with coffee cups, papers, eraser dust and pencil sharpens. I rubbed my eyes and got out of the cozy slumber.

I went to my bathroom to get ready for the day. After taking a calming hot shower, I stepped outside the bathroom and slipped inside my outfit for the day.

It was a black skirt paired with a baggy beige and red sweatshirt tucked inside. I also took out a black belt to tie it all together. I put on some fishnet stockings because they go well with the outfit. After putting my (h/c) hair into a half updo, I sprinted towards my destination.

While running, I saw a giant monster. It was as huge as a skyscraper. It had huge scaly wings and all around it laid some shiny powder. The white powder was very fine and dusty. It hit some people and they immediately slowed down. Even thier reactions seemed slower. Way slower. They couldn't even run.

It was flowing everywhere, suddenly it blew towards me. I ran but accidently tripped injuring my leg in the process.

I closed my eyes, bracing myself for the pain I am about to feel when I felt a strong gust of wind blowing. I opened my eyes only to see a greenette standing between me and the monster.

"Shoot style smash" he yelled and charged at the monster. I tried to get up, only to hear a slight cracking noise. I looked at my leg in horror.

He was trying to save the citizens of the city whereas I, a pathetic excuse for a human being was lying there with a broken leg.

'I am just making his work more difficult than it has to be. Nothing new, just me being a klutz and ruining things for people. It's my quirk at this point.'

I was taken out of my trance as I heard a loud yelp. I turned around only to find a drowned Deku. My face turned chalk white. That's when I saw Red riot, Froppy and Uravity running towards us. I heard a small "Take her away, Deku ! Her leg is broken.' before the darkness engulfed me.
