Chapter 4
Jennie's POV
I knocked on the door, and Mrs. Han opened the door, she was confused to see me. I assured her that I was not here to harm her. She invited me inside. She asked me to sit down, and I sat down on the couch. She also sat on the couch in front of me.
I started talking, "I am here to investigate the case of your husband's death, I want your permission to allow me because I will need you to give me some information about him." I told her about why I came here.
Mrs. Han replied "But the police have already investigated everything and they didn't find anything suspicious and confirmed that it was a suicide, and I'm sure you already knew about it. So why would you want to do this?" she asked me.
"Because I don't consider it suicide. I know Mr. Han and I know that he is not a suicidal person. The police may have missed something during the investigation. Do you allow me to investigate this case?" I explained.
"I don't want you to get into any trouble, I also have a daughter so I can't see any daughter in trouble. Leave this case, there will be no benefit from investigating it now, you might get hurt, and I don't want that at all," she said to me, her expressions softening.
"I am aware of all the difficulties I will face during the investigation. I am doing this only to know what is the truth, you did not get justice and I want everyone to get justice. I want everyone to live their life without any pain." I stopped and looked into her eyes.
I continued "Someone killed your husband today and they may come back and attack his family, you have a daughter and I want you all to be safe. Please let me help you, I will not tell anyone about this investigation."
She was silent for a while then she nodded and said "You can do the investigation, but take care and don't get into trouble."
I smiled softly and said "Thank you for letting me do this"
.....
I placed my recorder on the coffee table "Mrs. Han, thank you for agreeing to speak with me" I began, my voice measured, respectful.
She nodded, her eyes downcast, the lines around them etched deeper with each blink. "Anything to help find out what happened." she rasped, voice rough with unshed tears.
"Tell me about Mr. Han," I prompted, leaning forward, "about his relationship with you and your daughter. What was he like?"
A faint flicker of warmth softened her features. "He was... kind," she started, searching for the right words. "A good provider. Always made sure we had everything we needed. He loved taking my daughter, Lana to the park, teaching her how to fly kites..." Her voice trailed off, the memory a painful balm.
"When was the last time you saw him?" I asked gently.
She closed her eyes, picturing the empty chair opposite her. "That night, he hadn't come home by evening. I waited, worried, but he messaged, saying he'd be late. We had dinner, Lana and I, then went to sleep. I didn't stay up, expecting him like always." A shudder ran through her. "The last time we spoke was that message."
Her voice cracked, each word laced with the raw ache of loss. I saw the flicker of fear in her eyes.
"How did you find out about his death?" I inquired, leaning in, recorder whirring softly.
Silence stretched, thick and suffocating. Then, she spoke, her voice barely a whisper, "The police called in the morning. He was found... in a deserted area. Suicide, they said."
Her hand flew to her mouth, a choked sob escaping. "Lana... she hasn't spoken since. Didn't even cry. Just... blank."
"May I speak with her?" I asked a tentative hope flickering in my chest.
She hesitated, her gaze distant. "I don't know," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "She's closed herself off, even from me."

I was looking at the gun with which Mr. Han killed himself. This gun is no ordinary gun it is a special combat carry. Mr. Han could not afford to buy it. It has now been confirmed that it was not suicide. Now it's time to find the killer. While examining the gun, I found that there was something written on it. I looked at it more closely and it had two letters written on it, LM.

Limario was engrossed in his work, busy looking through the files when his friend Jisoo interrupted him with a request. He wanted him to come with him to the mall to help him choose a gift for a special girl. Limario was clearly annoyed and responded with irritation, "Jisoo, why can't you go alone? Why do you always need someone with you?"
Jisoo tried to reason with him. "This time it's different, Limario. I want to buy a special gift for this girl, and I need your help. Please come with me."
After a brief pause, Limario relented. "Fine, I'll come with you this once. But don't expect me to go to the mall with you every day."
Jisoo was overjoyed and showed his appreciation by blowing Limario a flying kiss.
......
Limario was driving and Jisoo was sitting on the seat next to him, pondering about what gift he should give to his special someone. He turned to Limario and asked him for his opinion, "Lim, what do you say, what gift should I give her?" he asked, trying to figure out the perfect gift for his girlfriend.
Limario, who seemed uninterested initially, shrugged his shoulders and said, "What do I know, I don't chase girls much, you should know better, you have more experience than me." He wasn't interested.
But Jisoo was persistent, he wanted to give his girlfriend a special gift that would make her feel loved and appreciated. "Limario, I want to give her a special gift. I have asked you to come with me for help and you are not telling me anything. What kind of friend are you huh?" he pouted and looked away.
Limario chuckled and said, "I wish you'd start taking your life as seriously as you're taking this."
Jisoo ignored him and suddenly said, "I will buy a gold necklace for her."
As luck would have it, Limario stopped the car in front of a jewellery shop. They went inside the shop and Jisoo started searching for a perfect necklace for his girl. While Jisoo was busy exploring, an elegant necklace caught Limario's attention. He asked the jeweller to show him the necklace. As soon as he held it in his hands, he loved the necklace.
Limario was surprised at himself for liking the necklace so much. Suddenly, Jisoo came behind him and said, "Bro, you like that? You wanna buy it for your future girlfriend?" teasing him. "Buy it, it's so rare for you to like something. Who knows, this could be your sign to have a girlfriend."
Limario rolled his eyes and said in an annoyed tone, "Shut up."
Finally, after much searching jisoo found the perfect gift for his girlfriend, they both purchased the necklaces, and now we're heading towards their home.
