Chapter 1
As the little girl, who was about six years old, ran toward her dad, she called out "Dad!"
Her father was busy cooking in the kitchen at that moment. However, he responded to his daughter's call with a warm and affectionate tone, "Yes, my Angel?"
She showed him a beautiful painting she had just finished, featuring herself and her dad. Her father was impressed and praised her painting skills, "Aw, my baby, this painting is amazing. I see you're improving with your painting skills!"
She smiled at her father. The little girl's stomach growled and she pouted, expressing her hunger. Her dad comforted her and said, "It's almost done, sit here." He gestured to her to sit down, so she could watch him finish cooking and feel a sense of togetherness.

"Sir, pardon me but I don't think that I'll be able to go with you for the mission tonight," the boy told his father.
"Oh, son, you are coming with me today because it will be the most satisfying moment for me to point my gun at his head and shoot him right in front of you to give you the most important lesson of your life" he evilly said and smirked, "son are you afraid of seeing someone being murdered?" he questioned.
"No sir, I just..." his father cut him off.
"Then it's final, you are going with me" The boy just nodded and left the room.

The 6 year old girl and her father were eating when she asked "Dad, why don't you tell me anything about my mom?"
Her dad gulped and said "Jennie, my dear, thinking too much about something can hurt you. I'll tell you about your mother when the time is right."
Jennie was sulking and angry at her father for not revealing anything about her mother.
The father stopped eating and approached his daughter. He held her tightly and said, "My dear, you know that I always want the best for you and I don't want to see you upset. You are the most precious thing in my life and I will do anything to see you smile. Please don't be angry with me."
"The girl looked up at her father with a request. "Promise me, Dad, that you will tell me everything about Mom," she said.
Her father nodded and replied, "Yes, dear, I promise. But you'll have to promise me something too!""
The girl looked at her father with confusion, wondering what he could be asking of her.
"You are someone special to me, and I need you to know that. Promise me, my precious daughter, that you will always take care of yourself, be brave in the face of difficulties, and offer a helping hand to those who need it. Do not hesitate to stand firm for what is right and just. Remember, you have the power to make a positive difference in this world. Even if I am not with you, never give up. You are my rock, and I have faith in you, my dear."
It seemed like he wanted to say this before it was too late, his eyes were sad but he smiled at his daughter.
She gazed into her father's eyes and spoke softly, "I promise I'll never let you down. I love you, Dad." She embraced him warmly.
Suddenly someone barged into the house with some bodyguards behind him and pointed the gun at the father…
The father said to the man while holding his hands up while surrendering "Marco, put the gun down. Don't do anything in front of my daughter please" he begged.
Marco laughed and said "It's more fun to shoot you in front of the children to let them know who you've messed with, Kim"
The 9-year-old son of Marco was expressionless while the little girl was stunned and was afraid of the man who had pointed the gun at her father.
"Marco, please" he pleaded, spreading his hands wide in a desperate gesture. "There are children here. Whatever it is, we can talk about it-"
"Talk?" Marco scoffed, the gun in his hand glinting under the dim light. "We're past words, Mr. Kim. You made your choices, now face the consequences."
Mr. Kim desperately looked at Jennie, she was waiting for him to say something, then Marco laughed and addressed the little girl "Say goodbye to your dad little girl" he smirked. He pulled the trigger and the bullet landed directly in the middle of Mr. Kim's forehead.
"See Limario, this is what we do to them who disobeys us or deceive us. And you will do the same when someone disobeys you, understand?" Marco said to his son. But the boy was completely silent.
The little girl was now kneeling in front of her father's dead body. She was stunned. Tears were flowing from her eyes but her face was completely expressionless.
Marco was watching this little girl crying, her face was completely wet with tears, but there was no expression on her face.
"Bury this lifeless body and wipe out all the evidence that we were here. And we are taking this girl with us" Marco said to his men in his stern voice. He lit his cigar placed it between his lips and began to puff.
"Sir!" Limario spoke for the first time since he'd been here with them.
"Yes son" Marco looked at him. There was pride in his eyes and a smile of victory on his face.
"Sir, I request you to not take this girl with us. Instead, I suggest leaving her at an orphanage, setting her free. She won't cause you any harm." He requested, his tone was formal.
Marco thought for a moment and then looked at the girl who was still sitting next to her father's body. And said to his son, "I agree with you and because I am very happy today, I am not taking this girl with us, This girl cannot harm me. She is of no use to me. Therefore, I'll let the poor thing live." He chuckled and instructed his men to clean everything up. He then walked towards his car with Limario trailing behind him.
