"Woah, woah... you guys are actually mates?" Vivian exclaimed.

I nodded, "Keep it down, but yes, he's my mate."

Corbyn seems relaxed, but pleased, "I see... then it's a good thing that the Daniel we always knew was always there, and never disappeared."

Serena tilted her head, wanting to say something.

I urged her on, "What is it, Serena?"

She parts her lips, "Why did he do it though? Act so... unfair and not mate like?"

Corbyn, Eugene, and Serena looked pretty shocked, but Mela and Kace looked pretty smug because they found out way earlier than they did.

I had asked Reese if I could tell the four of them the truth, and he had agreed.

I was about to tell them about Odette when I forgot to bring up something.

"Oh shit, it's training time. Can you guys go down and train the warriors? Reese and I will be done there in no time," I asked, pleading.

They all nodded, and went down.

When they left, I decided to go fetch Reese.

Walking down the hallway, I go to his door to hear some footsteps and some movement.

I frowned, and Wasabi started growling in my head, her claws extending. Canines snapping, her snarls echoing into my mind.

'There's a she-wolf in there,' she warns.

I disagreed immediately, 'Reese would never do that to me, Wasabi. Don't be so skeptical about everything. Don't you remember? He's our mate.'

Wasabi whined lowly, 'I know, but I know there's a she-wolf in there, and it's taking everything in my power to not take control over your body and deal with this myself.'

I shook my head, 'Don't take control please. I'm telling you there's no female in there.'

She growls, 'Why don't you sniff the damn air then, human?'

I did as she asked, and stilled.

'There's your answer,' she chuffed out, cutting the link.

I swallowed the lump down in my throat.

My palms sweating, my body shaking.

Not wanting to believe her, not until I saw it for myself.

Reese would never do this to me, he promised to make up for all the wrongdoings.

Taking a deep breath in, I placed my hand on the knob, closing my eyes tightly.

Counting down my numbers to open the door.

And I wrenched the door open.

I peeked open my eyes, and gasped. Tears started building on my eyes, falling down my cheeks. My world crumbling, the ground seeming nonexistent.

Before me was a half naked Reese, who was only in his boxers.

And a completely naked Odette, clinging to his side.
