At this stage in my 8th grade life, I was obsessed with Percy Jackson and all of Rick Riordan's books so when we got a prompt to make a Where I'm From poem about a fictional character I had no hesitation in picking my favorite character from Heroes of Olympus.

I am from tools and cars that my mom and I would work on, from Camp Half-Blood, and fire.

I am from the rusty books and rusty scraps to put together.

I am from the tendency to build and the rare ability to light fire.

I am from Greek, the religion I was born into, literally.

I am from Mount Olympus and the Greek Gods.

From the burning flames my father works at for all eternity.
