Two Sides to Every Story
A/N: In this story, we had to write about a story that happened to us but from another person's perspective. The names are not correct at all except mine.
It was a wonderful day at Ocean View Elementary School. All was good until recess. Angel has been hanging out with other people than us. Mel and I seen her walking with them around the field and laughing. We walked over to her and stopped her. "Can we talk to you in private?' I asked.
"Sure Diana."
All three of us walked away from the group. "What did you guys want to talk to me about?" Angel asked.
"Why are you always hangin around Sam and all them?" I asked.
She had a look on her face that told me she was confused. "What?"
"You don't hang around us anymore."
"Well, I just wanted to see what it was like to hang out with them," she defended herself.
"Well... It's either them or us."
She stepped back in shock and looked like she had just gotten punched in the gut. "What? You gonna make me choose?"
"You heard me. You hang with them and have one true friend or come with us and have more."
No words came out of her mouth. I looked over to Mel who, as well, had a look of surprise written all over her face. I started walking away.
