Sage is sitting on his bed reading when his boyfriend, Scarlet, suddenly rushed in and dove under his own bed.

"I was never here!" Scarlet shouts.

Seconds later, Yang slams the door open, angry af, covered in pink paint and gold glitter.

"Where. Is. He?!" she growled, eyes red.

"He's under the bed." Sage said pointing to Scarlet's bed.

"You traitor!" Scarlet yelled from under his bed.

Yang stomps over and lifts the bed high above her head and stares angrily down at Scarlet.

"You." Yang said pointing at Scarlet.

All Scarlet could do in response was whimper in fear. Yang grabs his ankle and sets the bed down, then drags him out of the room.

"Sage! Help meeeeee!" Scarlet whined as he was being draged out of the room.

"You need to learn that your pranks only get you in trouble." Sage called out after Scarlet was out of sight.

Later, Scarlet was found hanging by his underwear on the flagpole. Sun had to get him down and Ruby forced him to apologize to Yang. The next day, Scarlet was in a mood and ignored Sage. In the room, Scarlet sat cross-legged on his bed pouting.

"Scar, darling." Sage said sweetly sitting next to Scarlet.

"Hmph." Scarlet replied turning away from Sage and crossing his arms.

"Scar? Are you mad?" Sage asked confused.

There was no response from Scarlet. Sage frowns then wraps his arms around Scarlet's waist from behind.

"Come on, darling. You're not mad about yesterday, are you?" Sage asked resting his chin on Scarlet's shoulder.

Scarlet wiggled out of Sage's arms and scooted away, not saying a word.

"Seriously, Scarlet, the silent treatment?" Sage said getting upset.

"Go away, you traitor." Scarlet said sourly.

"Traitor?" Sage replied.

"Yeah, that's what you are. Not only are you my boyfriend, but you're also my partner; we're supposed to have each other's backs. I thought I could trust you, count on you, then you go and throw me under the bus like that!" explained Scarlet.

"Look, Scar, I-I..." Sage began.

"Just leave me alone, trust-killer!" Scarlet shouted before hiding under his blankets.

Sage gets up and leaves the room, tears forming in his eyes. The next morning, Scarlet was still hiding under his blankets when Sage returned. Sage sits on the edge of the bed and uncovers Scarlet. His heart clenched when he saw that Scarlet's eyeliner was smeared from crying.

"What do you got there?" Scarlet asked looking at the bag Sage was holding.

Sage pulls out a small bouquet of flowers and hands them to Scarlet.

"They're Tiger Lillies, I know those are your favorite." he said.

Then he pulls out a box of candy and gives it to Scarlet.

"Chocolate with nuget, also your favorite." Sage said.

Lastly, he pulls out a small box and opens it as he passes it off to Scarlet. In it was a pair of golden earrings shaped like pirate hooks.

"Hey, these are the ones I wanted." said Scarlet.

Sage pulls Scarlet onto his lap and holds him in his arms.

"Scar...I'm sorry. I'm a terrible boyfriend and shouldn't have done what I did. I promise to never betray you ever again. I love you, darling." Sage apologized.

"Okay, I forgive you. I love you too much to stay mad anyways." replied Scarlet.

The two kiss and hug each other. Sage wipes the smeared eyeliner off of Scarlet's face and reapplied more. Then  helps Scarlet put his new earrings on.

"You look hot with those on." Sage said cupping Scarlet's face.

"Hehe, thanks.....do you wanna help me prank Sun and Neptune? I still got more glitter." said Scarlet.

Sage laughs then nodded and helped his boyfriend prank their teammates.
