They sat across from each other.

Jungkook had agreed to go on this date just to be able to see Seokjin— he hadn't lied about that— but also because Jiyeon had caught him in their kitchen and begged him to.

... She bribed him with a free cake.

She said it would help Seokjin, to see and have another couple near him. He had almost laughed when she said that. From what Jungkook's seen, Seokjin's romance constipation had everything to do with: desire— the lack of it. Seokjin simply didn't want Jiyeon in the same way he wanted Jungkook. At least that's what Jungkook concluded, smugly to himself.

"The food's so good!"

Nari, Jiyeon's friend, stared hard as Jiyeon excitedly spoke about the food. She seemed uninterested, which was heavenly for Jungkook.

"It is," Seokjin responded to his girlfriend— hah.

Jungkook stuck his tongue to his cheek to keep himself from smirking or saying anything. It was such a shit show. A hilarious one.

At some point, Jiyeon eyed Jungkook, giving him looks from him to Nari as if to say 'do something!' Jungkook had to bite back curses at his roommate.

After tight chats and more eating, Jiyeon requested a dessert for their table just when Jungkook had thought they were almost wrapped up with this hell.

But...

At least he got one thing: Seokjin glancing often at him like he wanted to say or do something.

Seokjin looked so good, too. Nice button-up tucked into his tight slacks, his hair pushed back and sharp brows presented, along with his forehead. How could a man look so good? And every time he'd eat anything, his chopsticks pressed gently against his lips. His lips were so damn plump and kissable. Too kissable.

Jungkook's thoughts got more intense every time he kissed Seokjin.

He wanted more.

"Enjoy your dessert!" Jungkook was pulled back to reality as the waiter set plates of sliced cakes down on the table. He'd been staring at Seokjin.

"Ooh, it's so nice!" Jiyeon announced, too excited over food as always.

Of course, Jungkook dug into the cake happily— but at the same time, he'd decided that enough was enough. He wanted Seokjin's attention. So, he slowly and carefully slid his foot towards the older, chomping down onto his fork happily once his foot hit his. Seokjin gave him a lingering glance as he pushed his foot further.

"It tastes so good."

He ignored Jiyeon. Instead, his focus was set on the way Seokjin gripped hard onto his fork as Jungkook brushed his shoe up against his leg.

His furrowed eyebrows, the few confused blinks he gave just before stuffing some cake into his mouth. Seokjin is truly something else. Something that had Jungkook craving more.

"So do you guys wanna watch a movie after this?" Jiyeon asked. Seokjin's ears were turning red. "We could—"

"I have an assignment to finish," Seokjin cut her off.

Jungkook didn't know if it was an excuse to leave this hell, but he decided he didn't care because Seokjin had invited him over earlier and he'd said no.... but...

"I'm going to a friend's." He smiled apologetically at Jiyeon. "Sorry."

"Ah, it's okay. Maybe next time," she said, then looked at Nari. "You don't like your cake?" She offered her cake instead once she saw Nari picking at hers. "Here. Have mine."

It gave Jungkook an idea.

They'd all ordered different cake flavors, so Jungkook took one of his last bites and held his fork up to Seokjin with a sweet smile.

"Wanna try mine, hyung?" He rubbed his foot teasingly against his leg. "It's tasty. You want it?" Seokjin glared, but leaned in and took the offer. "It's good, right?"

Seokjin nodded. "Very."

Once they were finally ready to go home, Jiyeon and Nari were going to their apartment building, but Jungkook stepped the opposite way to follow Seokjin.

"I'll be home later," he told Jiyeon. He then gave Seokjin a small smile. "Are we going the same way? What a coincidence."
