On a Thursday night, Jiyeon had ordered food and invited Seokjin and Jungkook to play cards with her— UNO. Jungkook only agreed because Seokjin would be there.
It was funny, Seokjin's attempt to play along with Jungkook's recent doings.
When they locked eyes, Seokjin grabbed ahold of Jiyeon's hand as if he had a point to prove. But Jungkook broke his straight face, chuckling at the older's hand intertwined with hers.
"Aww, you guys sure do hold hands a lot," he said, and Jiyeon gave him narrowed eyes in response— Jungkook was originally supposed to ease Seokjin into things but they'd given up, so Jiyeon seemed to fear Jungkook's words.
"We sure do," she admitted and held onto her boyfriend's hand tight. "It's nice, you know. Haha."
He wanted to laugh so bad.
"You guys act like you've never even kissed a day in your life." Jungkook flipped his next UNO card on the table. Seokjin glared up at him in return once their eyes met.
"We're not in high school, Jeon." Seokjin turned to Jiyeon and placed his palm on her cheek before leaning in and pressing his lips to hers, so soft that it made Jungkook want to puke— or maybe it was the twist in his stomach.
Once he pulled away, Jiyeon smiled up at him. "You're so sweet, Jinnie. You're much more affectionate with me than you used to be, you know."
Seokjin glanced over at Jungkook, who merely sat there trying his hardest to not crumble up the cards in his hands.
"Um." Seokjin nodded, then smiled back at her with his lips tucked into a thin line. "Guess I am."
