After sitting on the couch for a bit, Jungkook didn't have to worry about getting a reaction from Seokjin anymore—

Seokjin and Jiyeon came walking in from their date and Jungkook quickly stood up at the sound of the door opening, tidying himself up.

Perfect.

"Oppa~" Jiyeon teased him as they came into view. "You're all dressed up, are you going somewhere?"

Jiyeon was wearing some nice dark jeans and a yellow top, and Seokjin was dressed pretty normally in his tucked shirt and black slacks.

But Jungkook had the attention on him today.

Usually, he wears black sweatpants and a black t-shirt just to get by with because it's comfy, but today he was still dressed in his tight white shirt and pretty ripped jeans he'd bought a while back when he had decided to start dressing a bit differently— which didn't last long, but now he's glad he bought it because of Seokjin's reaction:

He was frozen halfway in the living room as Jiyeon started putting her things away. His eyes were set hard on Jungkook, who merely stood like a model to be observed.

There was almost no shame in the way his eyes slowly fell to examine Jungkook in his tight clothes, his pretty skin peeking out from under the hem of his shirt.

Jungkook had to bite back a smile, feeling victorious as Seokjin's dark gaze met his.

"I'm going to see a friend," he responded to Jiyeon, who ooed upon hearing so. Seokjin's eyebrows creased together, though.

"A friend— ?"

"Bye!"

Jungkook was quick to leave and he wasn't lying with what he said. He was going to meet his friends. They were going out to dinner for the celebration of finishing the song they'd been working on.

They ate well, too. Plates scattered all over their table, shared meals being agreed upon, and chattering that had the boys in fits of laughter.

Jungkook had never felt so good, with the way his day had turned out.

"Ooh look at this photo," Hoseok called out as he turned his phone towards them. Namjoon and Yoongi simply acknowledged the photo, and Jungkook wished he hadn't.

On Twitter, under Jiyeon's profile, Hoseok was showing them a photo posted twenty minutes ago: a photo of her holding Seokjin's hand.

She didn't deserve to be doing that.

"Get it out of my face," Jungkook spit out angrily over chews of his precious marinated meat. The food tasted so good, yet so bitter with that photo in his view.

His friends gave him a questioning look, but it was Hoseok who asked, "Oh yeah, how's it going with Kim Seokjin? You sick of third-wheeling already?" he chuckled.

Jungkook shot him daggers through his eyes.

"I'm not third-wheeling and I don't care about their relationship."

Except he did. He cared too much for hardly knowing the guy, but it was just something about the way he felt, though. Words couldn't explain it, but kissing did so easily.

......

"Let's just not talk about them."
