Hello There everyone we are here talking about that started the Megami Tensei franchise, Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei, But here will be talking about it's OVA From 1987, instead of the games but i will mention them along with the Novels. So let's begin.

(What is Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei?)

Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei was Novel Series by Aya Nishitani and Illustrated by Hiroyuki Kitazume, It was Written in the Late 1980s, The Plot of the Story Follows Computer Genius Akemi Nakajima Who Creates a Demon Summoning Program That Summons a Demon Name Loki, and he is no God of Mischief. Maybe we will Fall for 30 Minutes Talking about This Loki, (Also Yes i am trying to make MCU Loki Jokes I know i am Bad).

Anyways Nakajima Makes this Program that Summons Loki, and is soon Misguided By Loki, and With that His Classmates, His Teacher and Transfer Student, Yumiko Shirasagi are sacrificed to Loki and boy it's Bloody. Also Nakajima and Yumiko are also Reincarnations of The Japanese God & Goddess, Izanagi and Izanami, so ya

(My Thoughts on The OVA)

Ok Let's Get one with the OVA Because this is what we are talking about. Now the OVA was Released in 1987 and Produced By ANIMATE, The OVA was Based on the Novel but there are some things that are Different from the Novels and The OVA that makes them Different as in Every adaptation.

For Instance, The OVA was Based on the First Novel, and Some Characters were not in Ones I known being Yomotsu-Shikome a Demon who Protects Izanami's Tomb and also who Attacks Izanagi when he abandons Izanami after discovers she is now an Old Hag in the Underworld as what was wittren that i have found.

The Animation is Great, Thought there is a Close up of Yumiko's face that i didn't really like at First Glance, Now if you have been watching my videos from awhile or are new, I just want to make it clear that a lot of things can fly over my head easily so the reason i am bringing this up sometime i won't find animation Quality that didn't work out right as Bad Straight away, I don't care for that aspect but i keep my eyes on the Plot and what happens. Anyways Back to the OVA, Let's talk about Crazy and Most Confusing WTF Scenes from the OVA, Now the first one ain't Crazy and or Really WTF, But There is sense where Loki attacks an Bank and Kills too of the works, one screams but the one next to her who gets attacked first is shown not to be phased as well and is just doing her work on an 80s computer calming to what's going on, and then there was the flashback of why Nakajima is Such an Ass.

In The Flashback Nakajima was Flirted by a Girl named Kyoko Takamizawa an Minor antagonist, Nakajiama refused her advances so what does she do, she sends Hiroyuki Kondo add him, and he is basically one of the bullies she lies saying that it was Nakajima who did causing Kondo to Beat the Crap out of Nakajima as Kyoko watched with other classmates, there was a lot of blood in that scene and boy does it get even crazier. The next flashback with Kyoko & Kondo, Shows Nakajima summoning Loki to Kill Them by Mind Controlling the Students in the Computer Room and Stopping the Teacher in the room from intervening.

And so Kondo gets Beat up by the students, and Kyoko gets it worse because what they did to her they picked her upside down revealing her Underwear!, and one of the Female Students Bites her "You know female part", I know how to say the "Word" in Polish but I want to try and keep what I am saying about these parts as clean as possible so I'll leave it there for you to think. (Do I Recommend It?)

Now Do I Recommend Watching The OVA yes i do it's good, and it's also the first anime in the Megami Tensei Francaise that Spawned in a lot more games, Manga and anime, etc that we all can love and see where it originated from, now Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei had a Game that was made by atus and

Namco and so one you can look up, there is even a Video by a Youtuber named Marsh who has a Video talking about both the OVA, Novels and Game, and i do recommend checking it out as i find it really informative and Awesome, I'll Link it in the Video for you too see.

Anyways I Think if Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei did not exist, we would not have Shin Megami Tensei, Persona & Etc that swaned from Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei that made it to where the Megami Tensei Francaise is now. You can also find the OVA on Youtube by looking it up.
